    .Sake list 06/2026
    Nataliya Z.

An excellent sake bar that I discovered thanks to the mention in Michelin guide. Sake list is very impressive and the new dishes prepared daily perfectly complement the sake offerings. I truly enjoyed my sake tasting and the fresh oysters from Canada. The best part of this experience is a unique ambiance with a lovely music. Perfect place for a romantic date, for the friends' night out or a solitary sake lover. The warm and personal service makes this bar welcoming for everyone. Cannot wait to come back!

such a nice vibey place, great for date nights & gnos. the drinks were great and they had a great selection of cocktails & mocktails. Small limited menu but everything we got was delicious. I think next time I would skip the dessert, it was a little denser than I wouldve liked a tres leches to be. Our server was always phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable on all the drinks & menu options!

Saw someone posted about this place on TikTok and I'm glad I found it right before my trip to St. Petersburg. In Between Days is such a vibe. It is a nice chic and cozy Japanese cocktail bar. They specialize on sake. I was really impressed with the mixology. If you are new to sake, they can give you excellent suggestions or let you try out some samples. I also enjoyed the record spinning session that they had. It definitely added the Tokyo flare to the ambience. I like that they had a decent list of NA beverages to choose from. Highly recommend the mock mule.

This place is throwing down a vibe and I'm picking it up! Hubby surprised me with a date night and it was amazing. What to expect: This great little gem is located in a hipster neighborhood in a former home. There is off street parking and outdoor seating. When you step inside you feel like you are walking into your best friend's house where you instantly feel cozy and welcomed. There are about 6-7 tables and a beautiful bar so make sure you make reservations. The atmosphere is so romantic and intimate with records (yes like the actual vinyl ones) playing and very soft lighting. It's a small shareable menu with pork belly, Brussels sprouts, oysters and it was all delicious and beautifully presented. They have an amazing Sake menu and their cocktails all have sake infused. Loved The Lady in Red - spicy just the way I like it. Definitely going back to the gem-the vibe the service and the food make this a must do in St. Petersburg!

Parking was miserable, especially in the pouring rain. I practically had to swim to the entrance and dodge a sketchy encounter with a sidewalk philosopher on the way in. But once I make it inside, dripping wet and rethinking my life choices, I entered the tiny, dimly lit room that feels like a cross between a Tokyo vinyl bar and a really cool basement your friend swears is "where the magic happens." Seven cozy little tables, a high-top bar, a few stools, and a whole vibe powered by vintage Klipsch Cornwalls. The music was chef's kiss. DJ spinning something obscure and cool enough to make me pretend I knew what it was. I ordered an Asahi Rice Lager (because when in Rome...) and dove into the Salmon Ochazuke and Brûléed Pork Belly. The Filipino Crack Sauce--sautéed in ginger beer--was absolutely killer. I could drink that stuff. One quirky detail: they serve everything with reusable wooden chopsticks. Not a fork in sight. And honestly, the place is just pretentious enough to make you feel like you'd be banished for asking for one. But hey, it worked. I adapted. Overall, a moody little gem for foodies, audiophiles, and people who know how to use chopsticks. Just Uber if it's raining.

Amazing! The vibe the food the staff. Such a great experience. We were lucky to walk in and sat at the bar. It was great... we got to chat with Sky and he provided some awesome info about sake, the process, tasting notes, varieties. The food is delicious! Small menu with great items that rotate often. The pork belly is a must, the salmon is delicious. All are drinks were fantastic. The selection of vinyl is odd but cool. Overall super experience. Highly recommend.

I love love love In Between Days. The workers are so friendly and the drinks are delicious. Seriously, try anything the bartender recommends because you can't go wrong. We tried the Kyoto Blossom and the Mule, both delicious. The best sip of the day was the shots for two, chai infused sake with green tea infused sake and a proprietary blend from the bartender. Yum yum yum. For food, we had the gyoza and the special (tuna poke). No complaints about a single sip or bite. The vibes are always on point, if you sit at the bar you can see the records their playing right in front of you.

One of the absolute coolest places I've ever eaten! This place is such a unique experience. They have sake sommeliers. The staff are so knowledgeable about their offerings. The drinks are amazing!!! Get the Osaka cocktail if available. Wowowowowow!!! Best drink I've ever had. I ordered the daily special for food. It was so fresh. Their menu is ever changing which keeps the experience new and exciting! The whole restaurant is dark with moody lighting. There is vibey music playing. Very cool atmosphere

This was a trendy stop in St Pete during our trip out there. Kind of a unique spot too, service was friendly and making a reservation is easy. Dishes are really expensive and take a while to come out. We made a reservation for 5 pm and ended up leaving close to 7. Food is 'tapas style' so wouldn't recommend coming in for a full meal, and quite small for how expensive they were. We ended up ordering 5 or so dishes and leaving hungry despite the cost - highly rec the gyoza and the chef noodle. Want to echo another reviewer who said they have light pours. Mom and I ordered cocktails and couldn't taste any of the sake or alcohol in them. There is one beer on the menu, along with some mocktails and different cocktails with sake in them. The music was nice and not obnoxious or difficult to listen to. The temperature inside was comfortable too. Parking is street parking! Make a reservation ahead of time if you can, walk ins are limited. Overall, maybe a one time visit - not sure if we'd venture back here due to how costly the evening was, but it was fun for a random stop on our trip.

Tokyo tucked away in the heart of St Pete! For a starter we opted for the Oysters which were from New Brunswick Canada this week. They were delicious and well shucked. Followed by a Bruleed Pork Belly shaped by a delicious creamy sauce. Perfectly cooked and very delicious. The amberjack was amazing as well and they provided two cuts (belly and loin) incredibly fresh and buttery accompanied by various garnishes. The sake flight complimented the meal extremely well. The sommelier Noah was very knowledgeable about the Sake he chose for us. Only 4 stars because it was a bit loud in there when we went. Will definitely be back for more!

Such a vibey little hidden gem in St Pete. The whole menu is sake based and has a lot of unique flavor combinations with beautiful cocktail presentation. They have a curated limited menu where I got to the try the salad and the short rib dumplings both which were presented beautifully and had great flavor. I definitely would say go after dark as there red disco lighting which is a vibe versus daytime. The staff were very friendly and attentive and this place is casual enough while still feeling vibey.

CANNOT. RECOMMEND. THIS. ESTABLISHMENT. ENOUGH. In Between Days is an absolute gem. A beautiful sake bar with a ton of selection, great cocktails and even better food. Noah absolutely crushes it as a bartender & host and the kitchen team is doing innovative plates that are absolutely amazing. Definitely check this place out if you're ever in St. Pete's. You'll thank me later.

It seems an ideal place to go with friends and order a variety of dishes to sample and share. We began with their signature Peruvian Ceviche with coconut and kafir lime (the non-spicy version for me - there is also an ají amarillo version you can get with a bit of a kick to it) and the Smoked Mussels Toast. The ceviche was served in a deceivingly small bowl that contained a generous amount of fish and it came with crispy plantain chips. The mussels toast is a dish I NEVER would have ordered myself, but I let my husband pick and it turned out to be my favorite surprise of the meal. Served on crispy toast points with salsa macha aioli and a green pepper adobo that worked beautifully together. I could not rave enough about this dish! (Just try it! You'll thank me!) Our next 2 small plates were the Pulpo a la Gallega and the Lollipop Lamb Chops - both incredible. The octopus had a lovely char, but was very tender. It was served with crispy and slightly spicy papas bravas. The lamb chops were served on a bed of pistachio butter - and yeah, it was AS amazing as it sounds. My only complaint is I wanted about 6 more lamb chops...I kid, I kid. But seriously, we will probably order 2 plates of these next time. Deliciously tender and again, had a lovely chargrilled taste to it. At this point, we were too full for any more savory small plates, but, there was just enough room for dessert! We tried the Guava Sorbet, topped with a rum and cream cheese fondant icing and pomegranate seeds. This was light, refreshing, surprising, and I would 100% recommend it to cap off a good meal if you want something a little sweet that isn't too heavy. We also ordered the Mini Churros, which were a little more indulgent, filled with a light custard cream, topped with a sweet and salty plantain and graham cracker crumble, and served with a dark bittersweet chocolate sauce and a tart passion fruit sauce. I don't typically love sauce with my churros, but both of these were so good we practically drank them like shots! For our first experience at Pulpo, it was fantastic! Looking forward to a return visit to try even more of their dishes and cocktails.

Good thing this place had a lot of tapas :) Our server Andrea was great and gave amazing drink recommendations based on some quick questions she asked. We loved all the drinks we tried. For the entrees, we shared a Branzino Grilled à la Plancha and the Paella of Duck Confit & Roasted Local Mushrooms. HIGHLY recommend both entrees we tried. We also enjoyed the small plates too (the appetizers), but everything on the menu looked good and we were having a hard time choosing. Next time we'll probably order other things and make a final decision on our favorites. The restaurant is located in the ground floor of the Tru by Hilton Hotel. Parking wasn't an issue during our visit because it was an early Thursday evening, so street parking on Central was available, but I can imagine it being a little challenging on busier nights. Loved the quirky, kind of all-over-the-place decor here. Vintage fixtures and mismatched furnishings all come together to deliver a warm, charming space that feels like anything-but a hotel restaurant bar. Lots of love for the cocktails here, too. We tried the Golden Hour, the Metal Plane, and the Strawberry Paloma. Golden Hour was my favorite, though the flavor wasn't quite consistent between my first and second ones. Also, they make a VERY good Espresso Martini for anyone who enjoys those. For food, we tried the Beef Empanadas, the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the 1650 Burger. All were tasty, but I think the burger turned out to be the best bang for the buck -- it's a huge portion for only $13 and it's delicious! The chicken sandwich was tasty, but the Gochujang sauce was a little sweeter than I thought it would be. Lots to like about the empanadas, too -- the beef is deliciously seasoned and the outer pastry is light and crusty. Great appetizer or meal, depending on how hungry you happen to be. To top it all off, we had very friendly service from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

It was definitely a good choice, as places closer to the ballpark were really busy and much louder (not conducive to carrying on a conversation). I appreciated all the unique paintings and decor, as they gave off a great upscale pub vibe. To start off, we ordered the jumbo crispy wings (4.5/5), which were of excellent quality although not all of us were fans of the flavor of the dry rub. I ordered the 1650 burger (3.75/5) which was a good, quality burger, however it was a bit on the dry side (not for those who prefer a more grilled or greasy burger) and I wasn't the biggest fan of the cheese (the waitress kept saying that menu items couldn't be customized, which I found a bit odd). All the dessert options looked great, so we shared the cinnamon roll bread pudding (4.5/5) and carrot cake (3.75/5). Both were of decent quality, but I'm very picky with regards to carrot cake recipes, and it wasn't in my wheelhouse for what I prefer in a carrot cake. Service (4/5) was generally attentive and friendly throughout the meal. We all agreed that Noble Tavern was a good dinner option in St. Pete, and had a nice atmosphere such that we'd return if in this area again.

Truly Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Red Thread…read more Our dinner at Red Thread was nothing short of spectacular -- a five-star experience from the moment we stepped through the door until the final sip of our after-dinner drink. We visited to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the team not only met but exceeded every expectation, weaving subtle, thoughtful surprises into the evening that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere is opulent yet completely approachable -- warm, intimate, and alive with cultural richness. You can feel the intention behind every detail: the plush banquettes adorned with intricately embroidered throw pillows, the soft glow of lantern-style lighting, and the perfectly placed gold-tipped cocktail picks that make even the smallest moment feel curated. It's elegant without pretense, like being welcomed into a beautifully kept secret along the Silk Road. Service was led by Katie and Elijah, who were nothing short of exceptional. Their warmth, precision, and deep knowledge of both the menu and the restaurant's rich aesthetic elevated the entire evening. They guided us with confidence, shared stories behind the dishes, and ensured every need was met before we even voiced it. Now, the food -- where do we begin? Red Thread delivers flavors that are bold, layered, and deeply authentic. We started with the spread and small bites platter, and it was immediately clear we were in for something extraordinary. The tabbouleh was bright and herb-forward, with finely chopped parsley, tomato, and bulgur kissed by lemon -- a perfect balance of freshness and zing. The falafel were golden-crisp on the outside, tender within, and served with a bright mint yogurt. So delish! For our mains: the salmon, seasoned with fragrant za'atar and resting atop creamy spanakorizo (spinach and rice), was cooked to buttery perfection. The addition of crumbled feta and a cooling lemon yogurt sauce brought a bright, tangy contrast that elevated every bite. The pork chop, served with tri-color potatoes and glazed in a rich port beurre rouge with rosemary and a whisper of parmesan, was magnificent -- juicy, deeply savory, and beautifully seared. And the beef short rib? Unbelievably tender, with a warm curry base, sweet-spicy melon kimchi, and saffron rice that perfumed the air. The cardamom chèvre melted into the mix, adding a creamy, floral depth that was nothing short of inspired. Every dish told a story -- of distant lands, ancient trade routes, and a chef who clearly treats spice like sacred heirloom. To know these flavors are crafted with spices imported directly from the regions that inspired them explains the unmatched authenticity in every bite. Red Thread stands alone in St. Petersburg -- not just in flavor, but in feeling. We'll be back -- no question -- to explore their brunch and dive deeper into this beautiful narrative they've created on a plate. To everyone reading: This is the kind of restaurant that deserves to be discovered, celebrated, and filled to capacity every single night. Go. Taste. Feel. Red Thread isn't just dinner -- it's a journey. And it's not to be missed.

We started with the dip trio (beet hummus, olive tapenade, and babaganoush with fluffy pita triangles), which was fantastic. Each dip had an awesome flavor, especially the beet hummus. We also got the tahini, date, and cashew salad and loved it. My husband isn't a salad guy and said he'd only have a bite, but then he ate half. The rich and spicy tahini mixed with the sweet date, creamy cashew, and fresh/crisp salad was such a great flavor combo. I will note, they go heavy with the tahini on the salad, but we weren't complaining. I got the zataar salmon for my main. A deliciously spiced zataar crust on top of a delicately flaky salmon made for a wonderful meal. My husband got the kafta en croute, which were ground lamb/beef meatballs surrounded by a flaky pastry and topped with pomegranate over a tahini sauce. I kept stealing bites (which was fine, there was plenty to share) it was so good and such a unique entrée! For drinks, they have uniquely spiced cocktails and mocktails. The drinks took longer to arrive than the food, but they were worth the wait. We were too stuffed for dessert, but next time we want to try their tiramisu (made with Turkish coffee and cardamom). We had a wonderful meal and will be back! The sad thing was that half the restaurant was empty. We think it's a unique addition to DTSP and is definitely worth checking out.
