    Adult happy meal

We went for Wednesday adult happy meals $12 martinis and French fries. Did not disappoint! Delicious fries and proper dry vermouth martinis. Cozy dark cocktail bar vibe with booth or table or bar seating. Servers are great and always keeping your water pitchers full. Save room for the cheesecake.

Very small joint but they managed to get us a booth in the back for a quick drink. Everything sounds good so it was hard to choose! In the end, the lychee martini was my fave. Also tried the "goat cheese washed" cocktail which was insane because it was my first ever savory cocktail. I don't know if I could drink an entire serving so be warned! Love the service, moody ambiance and proximity that makes this the perfect lounge to start or end your night out.

Slim Charmer is one of St. Pete's most intimate hidden gems -- the kind of place you absolutely must have a reservation for because once you're inside, you instantly understand why everyone wants a seat. The space is small, moody, and atmospheric in the best way. It feels like slipping into a secret cocktail den where every detail is curated and the vibes are everything. The cocktails are truly on fire -- mostly gin- and vodka-forward, crafted with intention, and beautifully balanced. You can tell this bar takes its mixology seriously. The appetizers are outstanding, the type you try once and immediately wonder how soon you can come back for more. And don't skip dessert -- their decadent final course is a must and feels like the perfect finish to an already elevated experience. If you're looking for a thoughtfully designed, intimate night out with unforgettable drinks and standout bites, Slim Charmer is the place. Tiny, stylish, and absolutely worth snagging a reservation.

Slim Charmer is a St.Pete gem! It's a beautiful, intimate cocktail lounge with the most kind staff! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are to dieeeee for, everything I've ordered has always been a hit! Their cocktail program is amazing, my favorite drink of the night was the lychee martini! I definitely recommend the bacon wrapped dates but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

This is a bar that is right off the island in St. Pete. I believe this used to be an AC repair store when Munches was here. Was pretty busy but we got service right away. Tried a few cocktails. All solid. Good bartenders. We have already been back for a nightcap. Nice little bar close to home.

Oh yes, Slim Charmer, you are quite a gem in the St. Pete area. The staff was welcoming, the space was cozy and the food & drink were divine. What you should know is that Slim charmer is a cocktail bar first, with a small menu of Shara le dishes & bites. What we ordered; a dry, dirty, Freezer Door Gin Martini and two Duckworth's. The martini, you have the options of a twist, olives, blue cheese stuffed olives or a cocktail onion. Both cocktails were great, with good flavor. Between the two of us, we also ordered thee bites to eat, which turned out to be plenty of food for us. We decided on the Brown Butter Crab Toast, Steak Tartare and the Warm Autumn Squash Salad - I don't think you can go wrong with any of the dishes - all fantastic. It is wise to make a reservation as the space is small and when we arrived at opening (5pm), there was a line. Most of us had a reservation but I believe not all. Slim Charmer has been open for seven months and sits right beside Wild Child - they're the same owner. I'd absolutely recommend heading to Slim Charmer if you're looking for a well made cocktail and or a couple of bites - I really enjoyed this place.

Perfect spot for a romantic date night with the hubby. We saw all the great reviews and wanted to check it out for ourselves! The reviews weren't wrong it was spectacular. Slim Charmer is located on Central with on street parking available. The total vibe of the place is upscale, intimate, moody and romantic. It's the kind of place where you want to savor every minute. I started off with The Great Pumpkin Martini and it did not disappoint. Vodka, orange and pumpkin cordial, it was delicious. I was afraid it would be too sweet but it was perfectly balanced with flavors...making it my new favorite drink. The dates were almost too beautiful to eat (but I did) and they were again perfectly prepared with the crisp bacon and moth watering taste. The mushrooms toast was made with oyster mushroom cream sauce and had a delicious earthy and meaty taste. Hubby said the tartare was delicious and he knows his tartare. Definitely have a reservation as others have mentioned it is small inside which adds to the coo atmosphere. The service was impeccable and they took my shellfish allergy very seriously. Can't wait to go back!

Such a vibe. Dark, moody, and effortlessly cool, Slim Charmer is easily one of my new favorite spots in St Pete. We loved everything we tried and each order that came out blew away our expectations. There was not a single miss on the menu. Love me some olives, so I was super excited to see the muffuletta on the menu. It would be hard to say what my favorite dish was but this one was definitely up there; great bread and perfect proportions. We also especially enjoyed the Stracciatella + Caviar and the Warm Autumn Squash Salad.

This is my third visit to Slim Charmer and it did not disappoint. You'll need a reservation to score a table here so make one early! While the food menu is small, everything is absolutely delicious - our favorites were the oysters and prosciutto potato chips. All of the cocktails are yummy and carefully curated by the Slim Charmer team. We will definitely be back.

This was our third time at SC and each time it was great so I had to write a 5-star review! Chris, our bartender was very personable, the ambience there is so dark and sexy, and the truffle chips and special razor clams were the perfect complement to my spicy pickle martini.

This place is cutieeee and I can't wait to come back for another cocktail. I'm not a martini girl but the bartender was super knowledgeable and guided me well. I came for the Wednesday's 'adult happy meal' which is fries and a martini for $12 (it's only eligible the first 3 martinis on the menu!) and it made for a delish happy hour. we snagged a spot at the bar but definitely make reservations, and they only have a 90 min seat time (which stressed me out a little lol) so tell your friends to be on time! Lol

Not surprised how good this place was knowing they are a sister spot of Wild Child. The team here have really created a nice and finely tuned menu for a nice cocktail and a small snack. I got the feels of a nice bar in New York upon stepping in. It's dark with great music and it's reservation only or if they have an open spot you can walk in. They don't do standing around spots so it never feels too crowded. Pickle martini was perfect! Had to get 2 lol. All of our food dishes were top tier and executed perfectly. The steak is definitely worth it especially if you split it between 2-4 people after getting some smaller dishes first. Highly recommend checking this place out.

They had us at ADULT HAPPY MEAL- officially a new Wednesday stan for Slim Charmer! Two of my gals and I went in during their adult happy meal special, which ended at 7pm. We didn't make a reservation and luckily got in with 10 minutes to spare, so we sat at the bar and quickly ordered our martini and fries for $12. Honestly, it was everything we could've asked for in a meal and we had the best time! The bartenders were lovely as well. Very vibey and intimate inside.

It seems an ideal place to go with friends and order a variety of dishes to sample and share. We began with their signature Peruvian Ceviche with coconut and kafir lime (the non-spicy version for me - there is also an ají amarillo version you can get with a bit of a kick to it) and the Smoked Mussels Toast. The ceviche was served in a deceivingly small bowl that contained a generous amount of fish and it came with crispy plantain chips. The mussels toast is a dish I NEVER would have ordered myself, but I let my husband pick and it turned out to be my favorite surprise of the meal. Served on crispy toast points with salsa macha aioli and a green pepper adobo that worked beautifully together. I could not rave enough about this dish! (Just try it! You'll thank me!) Our next 2 small plates were the Pulpo a la Gallega and the Lollipop Lamb Chops - both incredible. The octopus had a lovely char, but was very tender. It was served with crispy and slightly spicy papas bravas. The lamb chops were served on a bed of pistachio butter - and yeah, it was AS amazing as it sounds. My only complaint is I wanted about 6 more lamb chops...I kid, I kid. But seriously, we will probably order 2 plates of these next time. Deliciously tender and again, had a lovely chargrilled taste to it. At this point, we were too full for any more savory small plates, but, there was just enough room for dessert! We tried the Guava Sorbet, topped with a rum and cream cheese fondant icing and pomegranate seeds. This was light, refreshing, surprising, and I would 100% recommend it to cap off a good meal if you want something a little sweet that isn't too heavy. We also ordered the Mini Churros, which were a little more indulgent, filled with a light custard cream, topped with a sweet and salty plantain and graham cracker crumble, and served with a dark bittersweet chocolate sauce and a tart passion fruit sauce. I don't typically love sauce with my churros, but both of these were so good we practically drank them like shots! For our first experience at Pulpo, it was fantastic! Looking forward to a return visit to try even more of their dishes and cocktails.

Got a mezcal I have never heard of that was great and the duck and mushroom paella. I think as going to go inexpensive tonight but I saw that on the menu and I had to try it. First, it is an odd paella. It comes out with these roasted peppers and micro greens. It's really green and colorful, but I'm not used to that. The duck was smoked I think and then charred. It was good but it wasn't what I think of when I see duck confit. The paella was great. Or was it. It had such a unique flavor with the duck and the mushrooms that I keep waffling on how much I liked it. A lot. I think. Yeah. A lot. Maybe. Anyway, come here and try it. My vegan friend recommended Good Intentions, and I haven't had a nice vegan dinner in a while, so I decided to come see what this place was all about, in honor of my beloved Ethos. RIP. We make reservations, show up, park anywhere we can find in this wild, wild West portion of town, and start browsing the menu. It sounds absolutely delicious. We started off with the Southern Sriracha Crab Cakes (Hearts of palm and jackfruit crab cakes, sriracha pimento, Thai chili glaze, seitan bacon crumbles, pickled fresno, scallion, sesame). These were great. Very crispy, the inside was the spitting image of crab cake filler, and there was just enough Old Bay to really sell it. Spicy sauces and other elements made this quite the lovely little app. We also had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Dan Dan tahini, toasted cashews, pickled fresnos, scallion). Wow, this was good. Tahini was a great choice, the sprouts were crispy crispy, and the cashews added a wonderful little crunch. My main was the Kimchi Fried Rice (Crispy fried jasmine rice, scrambled JustEgg, kimchi, sweet soy reduction, fried crab balls, kewpie aioli, scallion, sesame seeds). Better than some of the non-vegan fried rices I've had in my life! Great rice with some nice crisp, flavorful but not too funky kimchi, a nice soy sauce, and a nice aioli to sauce things up a bit. I also got to try a bucatini bolognese of some sort that I can't find on the menu anymore. Maybe it was a special. But it was good. Really deceivingly real meat crumbles, a lovely sauce, and bucatini is one of my favorite noodles. Big fan. Overall, this was not a good vegan meal. It was a good meal. I love places like this. The restaurant is located in the ground floor of the Tru by Hilton Hotel. Parking wasn't an issue during our visit because it was an early Thursday evening, so street parking on Central was available, but I can imagine it being a little challenging on busier nights. Loved the quirky, kind of all-over-the-place decor here. Vintage fixtures and mismatched furnishings all come together to deliver a warm, charming space that feels like anything-but a hotel restaurant bar. Lots of love for the cocktails here, too. We tried the Golden Hour, the Metal Plane, and the Strawberry Paloma. Golden Hour was my favorite, though the flavor wasn't quite consistent between my first and second ones. Also, they make a VERY good Espresso Martini for anyone who enjoys those. For food, we tried the Beef Empanadas, the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the 1650 Burger. All were tasty, but I think the burger turned out to be the best bang for the buck -- it's a huge portion for only $13 and it's delicious! The chicken sandwich was tasty, but the Gochujang sauce was a little sweeter than I thought it would be. Lots to like about the empanadas, too -- the beef is deliciously seasoned and the outer pastry is light and crusty. Great appetizer or meal, depending on how hungry you happen to be. To top it all off, we had very friendly service from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

It was definitely a good choice, as places closer to the ballpark were really busy and much louder (not conducive to carrying on a conversation). I appreciated all the unique paintings and decor, as they gave off a great upscale pub vibe. To start off, we ordered the jumbo crispy wings (4.5/5), which were of excellent quality although not all of us were fans of the flavor of the dry rub. I ordered the 1650 burger (3.75/5) which was a good, quality burger, however it was a bit on the dry side (not for those who prefer a more grilled or greasy burger) and I wasn't the biggest fan of the cheese (the waitress kept saying that menu items couldn't be customized, which I found a bit odd). All the dessert options looked great, so we shared the cinnamon roll bread pudding (4.5/5) and carrot cake (3.75/5). Both were of decent quality, but I'm very picky with regards to carrot cake recipes, and it wasn't in my wheelhouse for what I prefer in a carrot cake. Service (4/5) was generally attentive and friendly throughout the meal. We all agreed that Noble Tavern was a good dinner option in St. Pete, and had a nice atmosphere such that we'd return if in this area again.

Truly Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Red Thread…read more Our dinner at Red Thread was nothing short of spectacular -- a five-star experience from the moment we stepped through the door until the final sip of our after-dinner drink. We visited to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the team not only met but exceeded every expectation, weaving subtle, thoughtful surprises into the evening that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere is opulent yet completely approachable -- warm, intimate, and alive with cultural richness. You can feel the intention behind every detail: the plush banquettes adorned with intricately embroidered throw pillows, the soft glow of lantern-style lighting, and the perfectly placed gold-tipped cocktail picks that make even the smallest moment feel curated. It's elegant without pretense, like being welcomed into a beautifully kept secret along the Silk Road. Service was led by Katie and Elijah, who were nothing short of exceptional. Their warmth, precision, and deep knowledge of both the menu and the restaurant's rich aesthetic elevated the entire evening. They guided us with confidence, shared stories behind the dishes, and ensured every need was met before we even voiced it. Now, the food -- where do we begin? Red Thread delivers flavors that are bold, layered, and deeply authentic. We started with the spread and small bites platter, and it was immediately clear we were in for something extraordinary. The tabbouleh was bright and herb-forward, with finely chopped parsley, tomato, and bulgur kissed by lemon -- a perfect balance of freshness and zing. The falafel were golden-crisp on the outside, tender within, and served with a bright mint yogurt. So delish! For our mains: the salmon, seasoned with fragrant za'atar and resting atop creamy spanakorizo (spinach and rice), was cooked to buttery perfection. The addition of crumbled feta and a cooling lemon yogurt sauce brought a bright, tangy contrast that elevated every bite. The pork chop, served with tri-color potatoes and glazed in a rich port beurre rouge with rosemary and a whisper of parmesan, was magnificent -- juicy, deeply savory, and beautifully seared. And the beef short rib? Unbelievably tender, with a warm curry base, sweet-spicy melon kimchi, and saffron rice that perfumed the air. The cardamom chèvre melted into the mix, adding a creamy, floral depth that was nothing short of inspired. Every dish told a story -- of distant lands, ancient trade routes, and a chef who clearly treats spice like sacred heirloom. To know these flavors are crafted with spices imported directly from the regions that inspired them explains the unmatched authenticity in every bite. Red Thread stands alone in St. Petersburg -- not just in flavor, but in feeling. We'll be back -- no question -- to explore their brunch and dive deeper into this beautiful narrative they've created on a plate. To everyone reading: This is the kind of restaurant that deserves to be discovered, celebrated, and filled to capacity every single night. Go. Taste. Feel. Red Thread isn't just dinner -- it's a journey. And it's not to be missed.
