Such a fun hidden place! You get to taste a plethora of wines and bourbon. The owners are wonderful. Overall vibes 10/10.

I didn't know I needed a place like this in my life, but I do and I'm obsessed. Wine taps! Bourbon taps! Books to read! Vibrant decor! Solid charcuterie! Basically everything I could ask for from a lounge. Plus, the owner was kind, helpful, knowledgable and attentive. The wine tap is a fun time. You receive a card and use that to fill your glass (1oz, 3oz and 6oz pours -- 1oz are discounted during happy hour). There's such a diverse variety of wines (more than two dozen), you could get lost in all of the good options. Something for all palates. I tried the small Sonoma board (which was discounted for happy hour) and it was a good-sized, cheese-focused board with solid combinations. the meat and cheeses come with cornichons, olives, and crackers. the caramelized balsamic onion jam was incredible with the sweet blueberry goat cheese and the spicy salami. It's definitely enough for a quick bite to soak up all the delicious wine. Wines I tried, remember & recommend (you truly can't go wrong): - Passione Sangue di Giuda dell'Oltrepo Pavese - Chateau Pilet Bordeaux - Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay the decor is vibrant, rustic and cozy. so much wood. even more art! And lots of different styles of seating including booths, leather chairs, bar seating and small tables. accommodating for lots of group sizes! They offer happy hour Monday-Friday and trivia on Tuesdays at 7pm. All around a vibe! Definitely worth checking out. read more

A great concept where you can try wines and bourbons beyond the traditional items you'd find at a bar or restaurant. The ability to pour your own and select the amount you want makes things easy to navigate. The environment has a nice vibe to it and the servers were great about making sure you understood how their set-up works. We look forward to coming back and trying something new. read more

It's quit over here. the bartender was very friendly and introduced us to the process. A little different than the others we have been to but not too much. Wine choices were really nice and pretty reasonable. We grab a taste and headed outside. Ordered a meat n cheese plate. The jam was amazing. This was a great portion size with great choices. I have wanted to check this place out for over a year and finally had the opportunity today. Got there about 5 PM on a Friday and they were set up for a big birthday party that was coming in later. We were a group of two couples and we're the only people in the place. We met the owner Jeff and he said it gets busy much later into the evening. He has life musical a lot on the weekends. They have about 15 wines. You can pour yourself by the glass with their machine. They have about six bourbons and five or six tequilas that you also self pour and then they also have behind the bar as well and they have draft beer and nonalcoholic beverages. He freshly popped some popcorn and shared that with us and they have ice water available at the bar in a self serve of water cooler. They also have a menu of small plates like cheese and charcuterie. It's a cute place. Pricing is fair for what you get. I would like to go back for one of their specialty pairing nights and will keep an eye on their Instagram calendar. Enjoy! read more

The Study is a lovely new place to grab a glass of wine in St.Pete. To start, head to the bar to get your card for the wine machine. This is the perfect place to try new styles and varietals because you don't have to commit to a full glass! There are 3 sizes of pours in case you just want a taste, a little more, or a full glass of wine. They have wines from more well known wineries such as Austin Hope as well as smaller producers. We tried both charcuterie boards on the menu and of course, popcorn from the machine. The boards were both good, so order based on your preference! Hidden Gem Alert!! Great new-ish wine bar you must try. Tucked away in grand central district, this is a pour your own style wine experience. I was surprised at the current selection. To start, I was extremely happy they included a Riesling, and a not-too-common one at that. It's my personal opinion that a wine selection is lackluster without it. I'm into whites, and never liked reds, so I was surprised when I found 2 reds that I fell in love with. The experience was great. The bar itself is very casual, kind of cafe style almost. I can see it morphing into something a little more upscale as it gets busier and more well known over time. As it's currently not exceedingly well known, it's not packed, which means you are able to stand at the taps and talk wine with a friends as you try several options. Pours start at one oz. You get a card that you tap and choose your pour size. The staff was very helpful and explained everything quickly but concisely so we were able to get started right away. They have free WiFi and a small but lovely light bite menu plus deserts. I truly believe this place will gain popularity quickly, so get in while you can while it's still a hidden gem. The prices are phenomenal. I had 2 medium pours and tried several other wines plus a spinach dip appetizer and my bill was $25!! That's insane. The only negative about this place is the hours. Would really prefer later hours on the weekends and was surprised to see they are not open on Sundays. read more

We attended an event here on Tuesday evening (Drag Queen Bingo) and had a wonderful time. The Study is very open and bright with very cool vibe. They have an amazing wine selection where you get a card that allows you to pour your own wine!!! They have a decent selection of beer on tap and bottled (some NA too). The food selection is mostly comfort snack food.... Like cheese boards, dips and such. Great popcorn and some very tasty desserts (make your own somores). There is outside tables as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I have to say something corny here: within minutes after being there you felt like you were at a home with friends. The owner is easy to talk to and knowledgeable. He seems genuinely caring and vested in his business. He greeted everyone and served as well. The staff was nice and friendly too. We came for a fundraiser tonight at The Study for Celebrate Outreach and they have an amazing selection of fine wines that you can sample very inexpensively. They have a pour your own system with welcoming atmosphere with artwork from local artists. There is also a small menu of charcuterie options and desserts that go well with wine. We were excited to try this spot especially considering all the 5 star reviews. Unfortunately we were severely disappointed. Arrived and sat for over 25 minutes at the bar before we were even acknowledged and that was only because someone else knew people who worked there. There was maybe 40 or so people in total. The drag Bingo was fun and the entertainer was great but service was so poor. We understand chaos and being overwhelmed but it would have been nice just to have one of the three people working behind the bar simply say "hey thank you for coming in, we see you and will get with you asap". Nothing. Blank stares. We would have walked out if not for the party we were with who booked it. When we did finally order we received drinks but not food. Mind you it was a cheese board and pretzels. We had to remind staff at least 3-4 times while watching people who came in after us get served more promptly. Im not one to post a negative review lightly. The tipping point was the entertainer pointed out the owner and that was surprising considering he was one of the three with zero acknowledgment. Maybe a bad day, idk but i hope constructive feedback helps them find a way to harness the chaos and fairly acknowledge and take care of their customers. read more
