The service team performed multiple upgrades and did everything possible to resolve the issues. Their service was excellent, but the truck still wasn't performing up to Ford's standards. This week, KC traded me into a new vehicle, first making sure that I was made whole in value on the original purchase. That level of support is truly rare and deeply appreciated. I took the opportunity to go shopping while he replaced the windshield on my 2009 Tacoma. True to his word, he was finished in 40 minutes, did an excellent job (including repriming the frame) and saved me about $150 compared to the estimates I got from local brick and mortar glass shops. I recommend him to anyone needing to replace their windshield, and will gladly use his service again if needed.

We needed to make a trip to Canon City anyway so we brought the Jeep into their new storefront but they were even willing to bring their mobile repair unit all the way to the sleepy little town of Westcliffe CO to repair the windshield in the Jeep. That alone is something to take note of. We'd called several places with mobile repair units and no one else was willing to do that. The glass repair itself was done in no time (about 2 hours) and looks fantastic. It was so clear, it was hard to convince my brain there was even glass in front of me.

A HUGE thumbs up for Austin Auto…read more My wife and I were in Canon City for a weeklong event. On Wednesday of that week We noticed a minor noise coming from the engine. The next morning, The first shop we went to decided it was the water pump as the pulley for it had a slight wobble. The shop manager stated they hadn't replaced a water pump on our model van and his reference books stated that the engine needed to be pulled to replace the pump. They were too busy to take that big of a job on short notice and said that they could do in in a week. We didn't want to wait as we needed to leave Canon City to get back to Seattle. The shop manager provided us with the names and number of a couple of other shops in town and the dealer info in a town 30 miles away. We made the trip to Austin Auto and they confirmed the water pump needed to be replaced but they were booked a couple weeks out. Kevin the shop manager did state that he felt the water pump could be replaced without pulling the engine. We went out to our van to figure out another option. We were in the process of calling the dealer to check with them when Kevin walked out to talk to us. He said he talked to his shop foreman about the water pump replacement and the fact that we were in a bind and were supposed to leave the next day. The shop foreman had experience replacing water pumps on this type of engine and apparently took pity on our situation and said he'd be willing to do the work himself so we could be on our way on schedule. Kevin said they'd be able to have the work done late today or the next depending on how it went! Late the same afternoon Kevin called and said the work was done and we could come and pick up the van. We were ecstatic and so happy that Austin Auto was so helpful and efficient The 3 people we interacted with at Austin Automotive were super nice, patient and helpful in every way. I'm ranking this as the best experience I've ever had with any auto shop. Period.
