I received a written quote for my tires, so I ordered them. I came in three different times to have them put on, but every time there was a 2-3 hour wait. So today I went in, hour and a half wait, but I was planning on doing it. Untill I asked a question about my quote. He proceeded to tell me that there was no way he could give them to me at that quote $655.00, they cost $800 just to purchase on his end. He continues to say that it was not the original quote! (It most certainly was). I didn't have that much money. He said "well I don't know what to tell ya"! He would NOT honor my quote. So I had to leave! Unbelievablely unprofessional! Went here to get a car serviced, & aligned with new tires. Paid hundreds too much. Some staff is experienced, and some staff is not friendly at all compared to other shops. Not impressed. read more

Went in for my scheduled appointment to get new tires and an oil change. Graham greeted me at the front desk and immediately made me feel comfortable. He's very witty and friendly. They got my car right in to start the service. The wait was not as long as I had expected and when it was complete they presented me with a clean car. I was surprised they had sprayed it off. Long story short, came into Colorado Springs to get my truck picked up from a body shop- hit a deer on thanksgiving. Anyways the body shop decided to call me and let me know that the plug in the front drivers tire wasn't holding air (great customer service, right?...not). So I was getting ready to leave town the next day to head 600 miles home. Woke up to a flat tire, called Jim's tire and they said to bring it in and see what they could do. Get there and they were able to help me out. They got me and taken care of in a timely manner, customer service was exceptional- they all were fun and professional. If anyone ever needs a helping hand here in Canon, they are the ones to go to. If I ever need assistance again while I'm in town, they will forever be my go to's. I had a blow out On my gooseneck trailer that ended up pulling my mudflap into the other dual putting a gash in it before I could get stopped. I pulled into Jim's thirty minutes from closing and the guys jumped right on the job and installed two new tires and had me back on the road before they closed. I can't say enough thanks as I was still over a hundred miles from home and needed to get on the road. Great price on tires, and exceptional customer service! read more

These guys did a difficult repair 3 other repairs businesses failed to do. Brakes' Plus wanted $400 plus for the job, twice that of the dealers. Jim's Tires did it for under $100. Wow!!! They are nice, friendly, and insisted on sticking to their low quote! They refused my offer to pay more for the hard job. read more

I just had to replace a set of skid steer tires, and the employee's at Jim's Tire made it a good experience. They went the extra distance cleaning rust out of one of the wheels, and gave me some educational tips about tires and tubes. The shop is always busy which should tell you something, and George and Luis shoot straight with each customer. My sister-in-law and 90-year-old mother-in-law evacuated from the Waldo Canyon fire and landed at a motel in Canon City. When they arrived, they noticed that one of the tires on the Jeep was low. Bryson from Jim's came to the Motel and swapped out the spare to get them rolling (including busting the lock on the spare carrier to get it loose, which AAA wouldn't do), but recommended replacing them all because they were rotten and cracked from sun exposure. We made the arrangements by phone (we're in CA and are covering the expense). Sister was concerned about leaving Mom alone, so the folks from the shop went back to get the Jeep, took it to the shop to replace the tires, then delivered the car back to the Motel. Outstanding Customer Service and quick service on top of it. Thanks! read more

Rip off! Bought $900 in Goodyears that THEY recommend 11 months ago and already falling apart. They offer no help or warranty to replace but sell the crap tires and recommed to customers. UNBELIEVABLE!! You all should be ashamed. Lost a customer for life!!!! read more

Whenever we have something to do with tires, we head for Jim's. We have haying equipment, not necessarily new, and they always either have or can easily find us the tires we need to keep on going. Great customer service and reasonable prices read more

Poor Service. Saturday morning, took wife's car to get slow leak fixed. Asked if they would also repair a flat for a project 67 Chevy pickup that I'm working on, just to have it to roll the project on while it;s being restored. Counter man became damn rude and mad " we dont fix old rotten junk tires!!" NO TIME!! Were to busy!! Jims service is NOT the local neighborhood friend for tires, the counter help is hard to believe... We try to support local business, but NOT this one, POOR. Will not go back, will try Canon City Tire next time... Jim, you need to get your business with your name on the door straightened out. Get new counter man. Worse than POOR...... read more
