Ahi tartar
Tia K.

When I first saw the name I assumed it was more of a casual dining maybe fast food place, but when we walked in, it was really nice. The wine was great. The service was friendly and attentive. The food!!! The food was GREAT! We had the ahi tartar, meatballs, and lamb gnocchi. Everything tasted great! We sat and chatted for a while and never felt rushed. I'm pretty sure they were getting ready to close and even then, they never made us feel like we needed to hurry up. I will definitely come back here when I come back to Maui.

IMHO My hubby and I wanted to check out the shopping village located just above the Residence Inn, where we were staying. Monkeypod is there, a new sushi place (highly recommended by a patron), pharmacy, jewelry store, etc., and Pita Paradiso! We stood outside checking out the menu, even though we had just eaten elsewhere, and realized it was only 15 minutes before happy hour! We were kindly invited to step in early to sit at the bar and order happy hour cocktails! We chose the Wailea Sunrise and the Makena Sunset cocktails, both only $9 each! Both were refreshing and tasty! Thank you, Justina for your recommendations! I checked in on Yelp and saw that we could redeem a free appetizer! Having just eaten lunch, we opted to save it for later use. I am sorry that we never made it back to redeem it, but I'm sure we'll eventually get back there again one day.

I recently had dinner here and enjoyed my food but the service was just so-so. It started with the hostess when I asked if I could sit on the outside patio. She was a bit annoyed I asked but she did sit me out there. My waiter was not the friendliest and was not very attentive. But I enjoyed my food and that was more important to me. I was by myself, reading my book, so I did not need a lot of attention. I had their Maui Mule as my drink. It was very flavorful and they use a local ginger beer which is nice. For my entree, I had chicken and lamb kabobs: served with sautéed veggies, rice pilaf, Tzatziki, pita. Everything was very tasty. The lamb and chicken were tender and flavorful. Always love pita and Tzatziki.

Parmesan Chicken. Absolutely delicious.

Food was amazing. Damn just Absolutely delicious. Justina provided outstanding service. Romantic atmosphere, but cool for kids. Great vegan options. Amazing wine selection. Another extraordinary dining experience.

Lamb burger, I would recommend it and those potatoes were pretty good too

This is a long term family owned Mediterranean restaurant that's in a shopping mall in Wailea. It's a cesnncasual restaurant with a full bar. Yesterday I had the village salad with a skewer of lamb my partner had the lamb burger, which was I thought really a good a tasty filling meal they had roast potatoes on it. The roast potatoes look so good. I ordered a side for myself. she had hibiscus cocktail and overall I really enjoyed the visit although the tables are close together and I listen to some guy making a sales presentation and it sounded like an infomercial which is a little annoying, but that's what people do at restaurants. The server has been there for years and she handled our visit very well overall I enjoy the place and would definitely go back. I'm going to post some new pictures of yesterday's visits and they look a lot like the last set of pictures I posted.

Delicious family-owned small restaurant in Wailea just up the street from the village (walkable, especially convenient if you're staying at the AC or Residence Inn). The outdoor seating area is so beautiful and cozy, and the food is all farm to table (so so fresh)! Our waitress, Cori, was so helpful and friendly and even surprised us with a fully vegan menu (very hard to find in this area), though she also worked with us veganize an item from the regular menu that was calling our name. Highly recommend!!

My family got plenty of dishes when we last ate, but I got the bolognese! Super hearty and filling - perfect atmosphere for a gathering of loved ones or a date. Staff was also super nice and loved to chat! - Miguel Morales Photography

This is one of my favorite spots to go to whenever I am in Maui. They're great for both lunch and dinner, but I LOVE going for dinner just to have their eggplant arrabiata pasta which is a must try in my opinion. If you have room for dessert, try their backlava ice cream cake! Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10

Great place to dine in Wailea close to the hotels. Mica was ready with our food when I arrived. We ordered the fresh catch, shutcome(swordfish) with fingerling potatoes and bok choy. Delicious flavors in every way. Fish was nicely seasoned and not over cooked. We also had the Greek salad which I loved! I wanted to order the tiramisu but decided my waistline didn't need it. Haha! Great ambiance, people are friendly and, timely service. Also, take out super simple and convenient. They make sure to include pita bread with each order and I believe it is made daily. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Happy eating!

This is a favorite place for us. A chance to have Greek Food. . The owner fishes for this restaurant and the fish of the day is his catch. So I chose the seared Ahi Tuna with grilled green beans and rice. Good, but it came grilled and Small. You could hide it with a credit card. So not next time. This was a first. I was splurging. The free hummus from Yelp was delicious and the Chicken Parm had a wonderful sauce and was moist. Our server Channel was a delight and the best smile. Great place to come.

Ziziki bread

I was looking for a place for dinner in wailea when we were staying at the andaz Maui and found this place on Yelp. We didn't have reservations but I called ahead to see is there was a wait but they said no. When we got there, we got to sit immediately. We chose a booth since we had our son but the one junk thing was the seat was a bit uncomfortable. It seemed to be pretty old so it was all torn up in some areas that my son didn't even want to sit down in those areas. We decided to try their ziziki bread, appetizer platter, and lamb gnocchi. We were planning to get dessert right after so we didn't want to stuff ourselves. The food came out fairly quick but our food was actually almost delivered to the next table by us but they realized that it was supposed to go to us. Everything tasted really good! My son loved the ziziki bread and there was a good assortment of items on the appetizer platter and the lamb gnocchi was cooked perfectly. Service was a little slow and we had to ask to order and get our check. The place wasn't too busy either. It looked like they had a little outdoor seating too which would probably be nice later at night but we went when the sun was still going down.

Parking lot -large but very crowded with all the other restaurants and businesses. Had to circle a few times to get a spot at 6 pm. Service- friendly, helpful, attentive. Checked on Yippeeeee! And the food, refilled the water. Ambiance - Good Friday night dinner vibe. Not too loud, crowded but cozy, everyone eating and talking and having a nice time. Food - outstanding. I love Greek Mediterranean food but when you mix it with Italian and come up with concepts like Ziziki read, that is flavorful, delicious and whimsical. The lamb salad Is large and has a large portion of lamb, Seasoned nicely. The salad was very good. Definitely would order again. The platter of the gods was outstanding. I want to order his again. I wish there was meal and place like this in San Diego. Large and tasty platter with several different foods including moussaka. Expensive it worth it. Definitely a place to try if you are in the Kihei area and want to try Greek Italian Mediterranean food.

Greek God's platter

Let's review the dessert first: Baklava ice cream cake. OUTSTANDING. What a great combination of flavors. Ship some back to the mainland. It's that good. We started with mango iced tea. Flavorful but not overbearing and not pulpy. The kebobs were my choice. Grilled to temp and nicely seasoned with Mediterranean spices. The soft pita and sides were great accompaniments. My wife chose the Greek God's platter. A full plate of spinach tiropita, a half gyro, moussaka and a delicious tatziki. Wonderfully spiced and presented. It was a complete meal. Our server was efficient and friendly and kept our glasses full. Light live music played in the corner. Nice. This restaurant stands out among the many excellent choices in Maui. We very much enjoyed our visit.

tl;dr - one of the best pizzas in Maui, at a proper sit down pizza parlor with excellent service!…read more I have been coming here for years, I dont know how I never wrote a review for it before! It's the first place I think of to eat at anytime I am in Kihei around mealtime. The pizza is so good. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, especially the cheese. It's a thicker crust style, which may not be everyone's favorite, but they do really well. Another bright spot here is the antipasto salad. It's a must for us, although I am vegetarian so we get the meats on the side which they ate happy to accommodate. The house vinaigrette is great, but the ranch here is home made and absolutely amazing on both salad and pizza! I specifically came here to write a review today because of the service. It's so good. All the servers are nice and professional, but the bartender (sorry man, I don't know your name!) is absolutely exceptional. He's attentive, proactive with his service, and really friendly. It's not hard to be good at service, but this guy clearly takes pride in his work and puts in the extra work to make his service truly great. You are very appreciated! The only downside to this place is that it is in Kihei and I live upcountry so I cant go as much as I'd like to.

Can someone message me the recipe for their homemade ranch? It's SO good! Better than Wingstop…read moreranch & Wingstop ranch is my favorite! The pizza here is so fresh, I've been in Maui for 6 days & have gotten pizza, wings & salad twice already. I love their specialty pizza (basically combination pizza) with fresh tomatoes on top. It's sooo tasty & flavorful. I also love their antipasto salad - such a simple salad but the homemade RANCH dressing is what amps it up. The wings are crispy & battered to perfection. I like to dip it with their buffalo sauce & ranch at the same time. Service is nice, came for pick up twice & was greeted & thanked, so no complaints there. Overall 10/10 recommend!

Loved the mushrooms and grilled onions. Fried rice had sabory bits of burnt ends that made this fried rice really good! Super ʻono, peeps! Gotta try! Oatmilk latte had too much milk so the oat milk overpowered the coffee taste. It was okay, but needed the extra shot to get a coffee flavor in there. Take away note: See those packages of cookies on the dessert counter? get it if you see it. Great ambiance!

Here's what I don't like: They use VIP produce and other commercially grown, and flown in ingredients instead of sourcing locally, and their prices are too high to reflect this. The taste absolutely reflects this and if you know the difference, you taste the difference (yuck). Another competitive restaurant upcountry, Marlow, uses exclusively locally grown and sourced produce with exceptional quality, taste and execution, around the same price point. It is a no brainer for me; the taste, quality, and value are superior at later mentioned restaurant. Kula Bistro is over hyped and over priced, but in a pinch, we appreciate the convenience.
