Such a great venue. The outdoor seating area is nice on a sunny day, but we were there on a rainy day, so we had to eat inside. The food was excellent and left me wanting to try other dishes. My daughter got a salad and really enjoyed it. Will definitely go back again for lunch.

10/10. My brother found it and we will forever remember the 11/10 service and perfect tasting food we ate. Thank you so so much for making our trip in Maui one we will forever remember. Not a single thing was even good; everything was GREAT or better

I suggest reservations as this place can get really busy with large parties. Indoor outdoor seating. I prefer outdoors. Small parking lot corner street side eatery. Large tree in the center of the outside patio. The lamb souflakki is a favorite for us as is their roastie. Other plates ordered are the Hungarian goulash soup of the day, and Greek salad. The lamb was slightly overcooked and not spot on as usual. We usually go here few times a year.

My dad's been coming here to go to their Oktoberfest since 2013. Swung by for a light snack. Had the crab cakes & calamari. Dad had draft Oktoberfest beer & I did a soda. Sat outside in the quaint garden area. Really enjoyed our waitress, Elise, who provided great service and could talk story. Will be back again.

Their food was amazing! Nestled in Kahului, their staff are super friendly, and they have a perfect garden outdoor dining section with lights that's really nice. My favorite is the Carbonara - it really felt loaded and had bacon and mushrooms - left feeling super satisfied! - Miguel Morales Photography

I went here for a quick lunch split. Had seating inside hut more on the outside. It was definitely hard getting service because only one person was working and she wouldn't come outside (where I sat and other people). I got eh ravioli and it reminded me of the pack from costco. It was decent and it had different shapes of ravioli which was interesting. It was a very big portion so I recommend shading. I shared the marinara one with my family too and it was decent as well, nothing too crazy.

We chose to dine in the garden area. Food, service and ambiance on point! We will back again.

We came here for the first time in a couple of years and it still is a fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant with outdoor dining area, friendly service, and amazingly European style food here in Maui. I had a Greek when plate with a Greek salad and roasted potatoes very tasty my partner hat and the chicken cordon bleu, which is really very good which is signature dish. They have a limited cocktail bar and they were able to make me an old fashion which I liked. They had a strawberries and Grand Marnier with vanilla ice cream that was very tasty. Overall a nice restaurant and a nice experience.

Maybe you've been to Maui a few times or on your current stay you're looking to counter the abundant seafood and salad fare with, say, Bavarian cuisine. Yelp and Guy Fieri steer you to Brigit and Bernard's for some hearty meats and rich gravies. We finally made a point to see what all the fuss was about. We made reservations for a table for four. As expected, the place is on the corner of one of many large warehouses in the Maui industrial area near the port and airport. A large overgrown plumeria tree blocks the entrance. You find that the interior of the restaurant is now used for storage and is a museum to Guy's visits and the chef's European heritage. Seems we didn't need a reservation as only 5 of the seventeen outdoor tables/booths were in use. The one and only sparky waitress darted from table to table to kitchen like a game show contestant racing against a clock. In fact, she handed us the menus and told us our table was "on the other side of that big plant". Yes, water is a sealed plastic bottle. Ice in a cup if you ask. Stella A was the only remaining beer available. The wine list seemed more like words on the back of the menu. I am sure I'd have to uncork my own bottle. A well poured house Merlot would have to do. There is no ambience here. Tarps and come along strapping is the outdoor cover along with faded umbrellas with brand names. We sat near the exit door to the kitchen and it wouldn't stay latched. Warehouse workers headed to their cars in the adjacent parking lot. An island country station played on the one poorly mounted speaker. Leaves gathered under the tables and manhole covers were obvious on the sidewalk that is the dining room floor. Sigh. But the food is good. The blue cheese salad was large and delicious. Blue cheese dominated the plate. The Hungarian goulash soup sold out at lunch. Bummer. I heard it was great. The sauerbraten, spatezle and red cabbage ($28) was delicious and filling. A plate of Huntersteak ($26) was a hearty pork tenderloin, tender and smothered with mushroom herb gravy with spaetzle and red cabbage. Enough for two leftover meals. The pork Zeuri Gschnetzlets ($29) featured an overly salted Roesti potato- a six inch hash brown and vegetable du jour. In short, the food was what you'd expect from a German kitchen. It didn't disappoint. We closed out our meals with two servings of apple strudel with vanilla sauce ($8.50). Definitely homemade. Dotted with raisins under a thin sheet of dough and lightly sauced and not overly sweet. Very good. B & B's describes their cafe as "European cuisine with an island flair". Certainly it's European cuisine. But the ambiance does a disservice to Maui's island flair.

You wouldn't think there is a Ono tasting German / Italian/ European restaurant hidden here. We sat outside under the umbrellas and it was a pleasant lunch. Service was quick and courteous. You could easily see the food being served at an Italian restaurant in a hotel or popular expensive white table clothed restaurant.

    Jaegerschnitzel mit spaetzle und blaukraut.
    Rick B.

We both had the Jaegerschnitzel, which was excellent! Pork slices covered with a rich mushroom sauce, with spaetzle and red cabbage - so good. We started with the Greek salad; the veggies were good but the dressing was on the weak side. Good German beers, too. Because it was Bernard's night off, there was no apple strudel - bummer! And a suggestion: add kartoffelsalat - German potato salad - to the menu.

Our Ohana and family friends have been eating here for years. They serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. If you're looking for a place to have a small gathering or celebration, they do catering and had a small party near our table (we were told to be quiet during a prayer for that party which we respectfully did). Our family of 7 ordered a variety of food. My nephew is Vegan and there was a Veggie Stir Fry he ordered with Tofu. My Brother in Law who is on the pickier side and likes it "simple" got Beef Teriyaki with Macaroni Salad. And my mom and niece love their Filipino food so mom ordered a Tamarind Soup with Shrimp and Vegetables called Sinigang and my niece ordered a Peanut Sauce dish called Kare Kare. My dad, sister and I stick to our favorites. He got his usual Baby Back Ribs (which I didn't get to picture), my sister got Sautéed Mahi Mahi with Lemon Caper Sauce and I got my usual Local Favorites Combo that had the most tender and savory Beef Teriyaki and crispy Mahi Mahi with Tartar Sauce on a bed of Cabbage. The Molokai Sweet Potato is a must when you get a side but this time, I did crave some greens so I opted for a side salad with Papaya Dressing. Your Meal isn't complete without Dessert! And Filipino Ice Dessert I might add...Halo Halo (which literally translates to "mix mix"). Being the true Fil-American that I am, I don't like to "Mix Mix" because I prefer my Ube Ice Cream in tact lol. I explained this to my Brother in Law from the Mainland who also said this is the first Purple anything he's ever eaten haha! But this is a refreshing ice dessert to end the meal since it has fresh cantaloupe, avocado, coconut, banana, and jellies, and the ice is creamy with an evaporated and condensed milk mix. If you want to "mix mix" let your inner Filipino out! Our visiting family had a great time catching up and enjoyed our yummy meal together. The Filipino aunty servers are always top notch and serve your food with Aloha. We probably only waited 15 minutes or so for the food as well which is always appreciated especially when hungry.

The wife ordered the day's special prime rib sandwich. Initially they brought out the wrong sandwich - a french dip. My wife barely ate half the plate. Maybe that's why a lot of the chefs said, don't order the daily specials; they are getting rid of old ingredients, LOL.
