(5/5) Fork & Salad in Kihei is a fresh, healthy go-to. Build-your-own bowls are packed with flavor, ingredients taste super fresh, and portions are solid. Quick service, clean vibe, and perfect if you want something light but filling. Easy win.

The smokey chicken papaya sandwich is currently a hyper fixation meal for me. it's SO good. just get that every time and you too will find this place to be a five star experience.

Filling and flavorful salads that hit the spot! I'm always skeptical of salads, I don't think they will be filling enough but these salads are packed and have great healthy ingredients not just lettuce that leaves you hungry. Both the mayo goddess and Cobb with chicken were really good. Plenty of dressing and filling for my husband and I after a long day. We ordered on DoorDash and had our food in about 40 mins. $35 total

Great spot for a fresh meal! We can for lunch after a morning at the beach. Service is friendly, and the food options are great. I wish I had a larger stomach to try all of the things. We ended up getting the papaya chicken and goat cheese sandwich and the Thai salad. I recommend them both. I particularly enjoyed the sandwich. The smoked papaya sauce on it was delicious. All the flavors came together to well. There is indoor and outdoor seating available for a casual environment for your meal.

Food SO good, I had to have it again before leaving Maui! Having stopped by the Kahului location on arrival, we were so pleasantly surprised by the experience that we knew we wanted more; so finding ourselves with free time during lunch, we tried out the Kihei location, and were NOT disappointed. The smoky papaya chicken sandwich is positively addictive. I don't know what they put in that spicy sauce, but it is to die for. I don't even like onions, but this sandwich makes me love the red onions!!! The staff and service are exemplary in all respects, and I love the fresh and modern atmosphere with the clean cafeteria vibes. A must-try restaurant whether you're a tourist or a local! Will absolutely be back (multiple times) on my next visit to Maui!

I made daily trips to their location in Kihei which was next door to a condo I rented in July. I stopped in for coffee everyday which was always freshly brewed and tasty. They also had a nice assortment of wine, beer, pre-mixed cocktails and other beverages, most of them chilled and ready to enjoy. I purchased lots of snacks to enjoy with my beverages, such as cheese, crackers and chips. Service was top notch! The ladies there were friendly, kind and very helpful at answering a wide variety of questions I had about things to do, how to properly apply zinc-based sunscreen and where to mail postcards. This deli is located in a strip mall and is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. On one side they have the ordering area with a beverage cooler, a display case, and hats for sale with their logo. The other side has seating and can probably fit around 30 to 40 people. For lunch on this day I went with the chicken pesto panini while my father went with a hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut. The menu described my sandwich as chicken breast, sun dried tomato, toasted pine nuts, provolone, and pesto spread, and my father's simply as sauerkraut and mustard. It was busy when we were there, so it took about 10 minutes to order and another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Since we ordered separately, my food came out first and even though I planned to wait, I had enough time to eat it while waiting for my dad's. The chicken pesto panini ended up being quite good. The chicken was moist and flavorful and there was more than enough cheese. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor, although I wish there had been more. My favorite part was the pesto spread and pine nuts, especially the garlicky flavor from the pesto. My dad also thought his hot dog was good. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my sandwich and my dad enjoyed his hot dog, so I would be interested in trying more of the menu.

Service was with a smile, but we were half finished with our breakfast before the Bloody Marys showed up. Patio is nice and airy with some view across the blue course and toward Molokini. In the treetops. So why a rate of 3? It's the details- the server commented on delayed drinks very dismissively, and their outdoor speaker was on too loud to the point it reverberated with some static, definitely blown out. I asked to please turn it down or off as it was not adding to the experience. Got a very strange look and maybe it was turned down a fraction about 10 minutes later. Traffic noise was significant but we were sitting outside next to the road. Expected. But to compete with the music and traffic was not our cup of tea. This breakfast as described was $95. I ordered the classic loco moco (with your choice of two eggs over a beef patty on brown rice and topped with a mushroom-onion gravy) and served with a big heaping of mac salad on the side. The brown gravy was a bit underwhelming, and the mac salad was rich with heaviness. I managed to try the Kalbi chicken salad wrap and found this dish to be a better option in my opinion. (3.5/ 5 at best) Overall, the chill vibes were great with a live band. But I would return to check out their brunch next time around.

Instant good vibes, the whole line outside was just smiling and waiting patiently. Finally get seated and both the hostess and waitress were super nice--real friendly, no rush, no attitude. In the front they had mushroom soup on the specials board, so we figured we go sample um. I had them bring a cup of soup out to start along with my wife's coffee. Gotta be honest--when I dipped my spoon in, I was already judging. Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. For my main, I went with the original eggs Benedict. Portions were a little on the small side, but with the roasted potatoes, I was good. Didn't leave hungry, didn't need to loosen the belt--perfect middle ground. My wife got the strawberry waffles and yeah... those were legit. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. We will be heading to Cafe Kaila again to try some other stuff like the "chicken and waffles", and next time, I'm not playing around with the soup. Bowl, Garans.

The truck itself is fun, painted with bright tropical colors and scenes, and they seem to be known for their loaded tots and bao buns. I placed my order on the touchscreen outside and then sat down to wait for my food. For lunch on this day I went with the buffalo chicken tots and the Island Piggy bao. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future.
