I paid for double protein, so I could see that a regular could be light on the meat. However, you can always load up on the veg. I got pita and hummus, for like $3.50 it was good. Pita had good flavor, the quantity of hummus was small. But for that price, I was more than happy. I also made my own with steak, feta, tomato, onion, grilled red pepper, and sauce. Stopped in to pick up our to go order of pitas; we ordered a regular and large gyro pita with different fillings. The choice of fillings is pretty nice and lengthy so that's a plus; however, the gyro meat had a spicy kick that one of us was not prepared for and a pita was passed on to someone else in the group. Food was amazing as it always is but this is my second time coming here, and the customer service is awful. The first girl who rung me up wasn't wearing pants, she only had boxers on, which was disturbing because she works in food service. And today I came in and was ignored for the first couple minutes while it seemed like the employees weren't really doing anything. This was our first time here. The place was packed. We waited 25 minutes for our food. There were 4 in our party. I cant speak for the others in my group but my pita in a bowl was merely chicken on top of spinach salad. The spinach was slimy. There was no dressing. If I were to have the chicken in a pita instead of the bowel it would have been dry. So for those not eating carbs this is what you are faced with. I was excited to try this wrap, it looked so good on their menu. I was a bit suspicious when, 10 minutes after I ordered through Door Dash, they said it was on the way - how could they have done that if it was made fresh? When I got it, my suspicions proved correct. It appeared that it had been made awhile before & kept under a heat lamp - the wrapper was totally glued to the wrap, which almost ripped open, & was very small. Healthy options for a fast food. The pita is more like a pita-like wrap. It took way too long for our smoothies and food to come out. Not enough seating for a lunch/dinner rush. Location was clean and staff was friendly. Everything was up to date. Food was good for Fairbanks dishes. Portions can be medium to large size. I'm staying at the hotel next to this little place and ran over for lunch with my husband. Large selection of pita sandwiches and you can make your own too. I chose the Greek special they offered (like gyros) and loved it. I got the small size and it was still quite filling. As lunch picked up they started to get busy. So I've been here twice now and will keep coming back. First trip, I walked in about 5 minutes after closing time and they said they'd be happy to make a couple more meals. Second trip, they were pretty slammed at lunch time. Food was quick and delicious and the owner was constantly moving...sweeping, cleaning tables, picking up trash in the parking lot, delivering food, you name it. Food was excellent. I got the chicken pesto pita and my husband got the chicken buffalo pita. Both very good. One thing I really enjoyed was their smoothies. Good recommendations, was sure to ask us if we wanted double meat or cheese. As a previous person in customer service being able to upcharge is a great skill to have. The food here was good. They even had utensils free options!! Quite a few options... the only problem was that there TV projected menu was very small hard to read. They get 5 stars because they read and implemented all the instructions provided in our large online order (for a group). They were also generous with condiments. Thank goodness this place was right next door to my hotel as I landed late in the evening in the middle of even for Alaska a blizzard of snow. It was fun to walk in the snow across the parking lot and get a wonderfully flavored combination a vegetables and beef in a very tasty full of garlic salad.
