In Jeff city to attend training for my job, when lunchtime came around. I'm from Columbia and work in Fulton, so I don't actually know what food options Jeff city has. I just moved to this area from Elko, Nevada in October, so to be fair I'm unfamiliar with a lot of things...therefore I took to Yelp to see what was around! As soon as I saw, there was a Pita Pit, there were no more questions in my mind what I was going to have for lunch. I have not had Pita Pit in 14 years, and was helping and praying it would still be what I remembered it to be. As soon as I saw that they had falafel in a brown rice bowl I knew what I was getting. My only complaint is I was originally pretty sad that the falafel was all broken up and not in big round balls... but I digress. That bowl was fresh, filling and amazing! And I'm so glad they had tzatziki!! Next time I find myself and Jeff city for training. I know what I'm having for lunch!! read more

I like Pita Pits there is not that many around now days the food is grilled very tasteful and they make it with any toppings you want . It's healthy not too expensive the manager was very polite and helpful this place is a gem. read more

Stopped in to Jeff City for work. Looked up some restaurants and came across Pita Pit. The pictures looked very delicious and I hadn't had a Gyro in years. We ordered online and were happy with the quick service right at opening. I ordered two Super Greek Gyros w/Chipotle sauce on the side. When I tell you this food was amazing! So much flavor! So much of everything that we needed. I had doubts when I saw that it was connected to a gas station but I was pleasantly surprised and happy that I didn't waste any money. 10/10 - this is a place that I would drive two hours just to eat. What a fun little spot! I'm always weary of a restaurant attached to a gas station, but both spaces were super clean! I ordered the special and then ended up making it mine, which was pretty different. The father daughter duo worked very well together and my food was ready super fast. I have been to Jeff Cutt several times and had not been able to find something light and quick and this is the perfect spot. I'll definitely be back! read more

As a follow-up to my previous review, I still have yet to try Pita Pit but I must say that, when Jeremy was made aware of the problems with my order and delivery he seemed to be as upset about it as I was. He step up. He reached out to me and was determined to make it right. He issued me a full refund and an invite to try their product. Even though I have not done that, I really appreciate his concern and his belief in the quality of their product. So thank you Jeremy. The delivery system chosen needs to be addressed. The bag was flung to the top of the stairs without the cookie that was apparently placed in the bag and it might have sat there for a minute before my dog started to growl at something on the porch. Lovely food. Good vegetarian options of pita, bowl or classic pita. They have nice pita chips too. Would recommend this as a nice place to grab a bite. It's a sma place so you can have a large group for a sit and eat. read more

We almost didn't try this place when we saw it was attached to a Phillips 66. We decided to trust the reviews. So glad we did! We ordered Gyros and a Philly cheesesteak. It was all delicious. If I knew it was a franchise, I likely would not gave gone Gyro was sub par at best, however they do load them with a lot of toppings, ordered the larger portion and it was only 4 strips of meat. Store definitely needs cleaned up- went at 2:30pm and only 3 people there and all tables, chairs and floor were dirty. And please change out your chips! My daughter and I went in here last week (mid-June) for the first time and really enjoyed it. Out food was made right in front of us (think Subway, but better-ha ha). The gentleman working was very nice and helpful. I got a pita with bacon, humus, tomatoes, spinach, and black olives. Man was it good! I'm pretty sure I'm going to head there tonight to get dinner in fact lol. The store is new and was nice and clean. They have outdoor seating which would have been nice but since we were busy we didn't stay. The prices were decent but a little high, but we DID get full from our one pita each. Tried to order, was told if I wanted to tip. I said of course if they are delivering it. She then said she thought I was picking it up... I stopped by to pick up a quick lunch yesterday. The girl working was super friendly and helpful. I'm a big fan of a place with honest employees who will give you their personal suggestions and she was great. She suggested the gyro with the boom boom sauce (spicy), which I would never have thought of on a gyro. I added the traditional gyro toppings and had her add this boom boom sauce, which turned out to be really tasty! The place was clean and the ingredients were fresh. The only negative was it was a little pricey for a small wrap, chips, and drink. But I'll definitely be back to try more fun combinations! read more
