I ordered a Greek salad with an extra chicken kabob and a side of gyro meat. The salad was awesome, the chicken kabob was very fresh, they mounded in the gyro meat, which was very nice. My wife got a chicken gyro and enjoyed it, but said she would get the sauce on the side the next time. The portions were huge, so it justified the prices. The dining room was clean and staff were friendly. The bathroom could have used a bit more attention, but was functional. Overall a pretty good experience. He told me it was located inside a liquor store but not to let that fool me. This is one of the top selling gyro places in the area. There is a parking lot for the business. We were welcomed in and the owner, Dave, chatted with us while prepping our order. Note, this is a carry out only establishment. There were three spits of meat churning away. It smelled delicious in there. My brother recommended the King gyro. It comes with 1/2 pound of delicious gyro meat topped with shredded lettuce, red onion and diced tomato. The soft, warm pita is spread with tzatziki sauce for that tangy hit of cucumber. You can see the freshness as they were in the process of chopping more veg for toppings. Three big containers of diced tomato done and they were on to chopping red onions. The store itself has essence of Elvis everywhere in the decorations, even a life-sized replica. I know where I want to go on my next Michigan visit!
