[Emphasis JCi's.] On 12/20/2022, I emailed JCi noting that I'd apparently not made its list after all and that I'd look elsewhere for a reliable contractor. The response included an apology with excuses about workload and weather, and an offer that if the weather warms up he could "try to get out there" -- not exactly the 'firm' commitment he'd made in October, so I once again stated that he needn't worry about it as I 'd look for someone reliable. JCi emailed again late on 12/29/2022 with an offer that he "may be able to come by" the next day -- once again, not a firm commitment to actually showing up, so for the third time I responded that I'd look for someone else -- some reliable. JCi replied on 12/30/2022 that, "I wasn't really interested in working for you after that last email but I was going to fit you in...". And there it is -- with JCi, I am the bad guy despite being clear in my very first inquiry that I was looking for someone RELIABLE. I am the bad guy despite the fact that JCi failed to keep a firm commitment to clean my gutters before winter [There's a word for that, and it's not "Reliable"]. I am the bad guy because JCi couldn't be bothered to let me know they couldn't keep their commitment [Reliable? Guess again!]. I am the bad guy here because I have this outdated notion that fulfilling one's commitments and keeping customers informed are actual evidence of being reliable -- not promises that I'll "try to get out there" and I "may be able to come by", all the while hedging your actual level of commitment by noting there are still other customers still needing service.

The team came, they were very nice had good attitudes and were honest, they did clean work and cleaned up after themselves. When one planned part of the job turned out to not be necessary Aaron shared that with me and removed it from the bill. I am surprised with how much better my house looks with new gutters and I am now looking forward to the next rain! They replaced 2 gutters, 3 down spouts and added cleats to my roof.

The picture showed the skylight frame separated and he fixed/repaired. Using his underlayment paper and my roofing shingles left over from a reroofing job performed 8 years ago, he tore out the old paper and reshingled. TG also installed a bathroom exhaust the same day. Very happy with the immediate service and extra work TG performed. We've several downpours since then and no problems. Very fair prices without gouging because of my circumstances.

Luckily, I found Luis, who came the same day. He immediately cleared the clog and cleaned out all of the gutters thoroughly. They were there when they said they would be, their crew is personable and motivated, there was NO standing around talking, loud music playing, yelling to talk to each other, they were a joy to be around. They started at 8 am, exactly when they said they would, had a 4 man crew, 2 worked on the front and 2 on the back, and finished around 4 pm. Received 1 estimate 36 hours after it was promised and it WAS NOT what we discussed and way over priced The estimate included work the estimator told me could not be done. Owner called me trying to justify the price. That was another joke! Told be just the dumpster to remove the debris was $500. Problem being the estimate said debris would be taken away in a pickup truck. Pretty bad when the owner doesn't know what's in the estimate.
