SO, decided to give them a try, as they aren't too far from me. (about 15 minutes.) Ordering was easy enough, but this process is what actually cost them the 5 star. I'll circle back to this.... The building is nice and spacious, with a very modern look and feel. Something that is awesome, if used as it should be, is basically a wall of hot boxes; lockers where they put your food that you can retrieve with a QR code. A GREAT idea, with a fatal flaw. Circling back now, that hot wall locker was actually my meals undoing. I placed a future pick up order a little bit before 5 pm. The pick up time was for 5:30. At 5:06, I get a message with a QR code, telling me that my food is ready to be picked up from the locker. Now, it's great that they wanted to keep my food warm for me, but they made my order almost THIRTY MINUTES EARLY, and put it in these sweat boxes. By the time I got to my food, my fries were INEDIBLE. The cheesesteak wrapper had condensation all over it. My meal was a sweaty mess. There is no reason to prepare food that early in advance, but with the lockers available, I'm sure it's something they do fairly often. Also, the sandwich is a slightly fancier version, with fried mushrooms and garlic aoili, but the mushrooms were soggy and pale and I couldn't taste a DROP of garlic aoili. Still, a decent sandwich so I'm not mad, but Waffa isn't good enough for me to drive past better places. This is supposed to be a DESSERT place, so maybe that's their wheelhouse, but I have a ton of those options near me as well. If you do go, they are weirdly situated next to a traffic circle, so you gotta pay attention to where you're going.

Higher up this tier you encounter very expensive examples of single source or small batch offerings. These can be very expensive and not something for everyday consumption. Lindt hits that sweet spot( so to speak) of good everyday quality with interesting flavors and creamy melt in your mouth feel. This shop carries so many types of their truffles that I didn't even know which to try first. Good thing that they also have some pretty tasty sales on them. Along with pick your own truffles, they also have pick your own European candies. These looked very enticing and worthy of further research. Their barks were also a revelation, even the white chocolate with fruits and nuts tasted better than any white chocolate I've ever had. And we finally tried their frozen drink concoction that is not quite a shake, more like a liquified candy burst. I plan on doing more shopping here..... for Christmas gifts. Really. Ok, if a few wind up in my stocking, that's cool too.

I was warmly met and greeted, absolutely did not feel rushed, and left with a collection of different flavored marshmallows to try out. I ended up putting pieces of each marshmallow in my morning coffee as a topper, and I LOVED it! They add the perfect touch of sweetness and flavor, and I cannot wait to return for more.

Mostly because I like marshmallows but I didn't think I was a big enough fan to warrant a trip to a place dedicated to them. I am here to tell you, I was wrong. Upon stepping foot into the little marshmallow cottage, I was greeted warmly and that is usually enough for me to warrant purchasing at least one thing to support a small business, but when I say I walked out with over $50 worth of marshmallowy goodness and have zero regrets, I am not kidding. We started out perusing the wall of jams, spreads, coffees, and non marshmallow items. We snatched up the carrot cake spread because my husband is obsessed with carrot cake and we felt this would make some amazing stuffed french toast in the fall. We also grabbed a bag of the sunset blend coffee beans from Hallowed Grounds Coffee Co. I then saw their signature marshmallow, which has caramel and is enrobed in chocolate with sea salt. These reminded me of a candy I love to get from a well known confectioner on the West Coast, so I had to grab one. Then I found out they make their own caramels, so I got a bag of them. I also chose their special marshmallow of the week with caramel and stroopwaffle pieces, the coffee dreams marshmallow, the mini smores, and the kandy kake marshmallows. Finally, we grabbed a bag of their puppy marshmallows for our dogs. We tried the Kandy Kake marshmallow and OOOOO WEEE was it amazing! I never would have imagined it would be this good. In fact, I am scared to try the rest because I just KNOW I am going to be in trouble. If you have avoided this place thus far because you think you don't like marshmallows enough, that may be a good thing for you because I guarantee you like marshmallows after you try these.

The space is a beautiful, unique blend of creativity and elegance, like stepping into a scene from Bridgerton. Every detail was thoughtful--from the delicate tea cups to the refined silverware--creating an atmosphere that felt straight out of a period drama. We took our time with the menu and chose carefully, ordering a delightful selection of tea sandwiches, mini desserts, and three different teas. I personally went for the Moroccan tea, and let me tell you--it was out of this world! The food was delicious, and we even had enough to take home. My personal favorites were the scones, the deviled eggs, and the adorable chocolate mousse cups. And the decor! The furniture was impeccable, and that plate glass wall installation is honestly one of the most stunning I've ever seen in a restaurant. I Highly recommend! The food isnt good. Its not bad either. I think this is a good tea and afternoon tea spot. I wasnt crazy hungry for all the sweets that are part of the afternoon tea menu so i ordered a la carte and was disappointed. The chicken sandwich tasted like it was a cooked frozen patty, boring flavors. The crepe cake i had high expectations for but it tasted like it was from a day old grocery counter.
