There is no reason to prepare food that early in advance, but with the lockers available, I'm sure it's something they do fairly often. There are appetizers like fries, buffalo wings, fried cod and shrimp lollipops, spring rolls, different filled wontons, lobster avo sandwiches, etc. There is a vast array of desserts like custards, different flavor cheesecakes & crepe cakes, chocolate lava cake, strawberry shortcake etc. However, the platters were just placed on the table (like a casual house party) and different items were on the same platter like chicken with shrimp with one set of tongs, and all without any signage. So it was a cross contamination concern and it looked tacky. I heard people asking what was what and quickly grabbed a server and pulled her to the side to inquire where the stands were, and why are certain items together on 1 platter. She didn't address the stands, but clarified what each food item was, brought out additional tongs, and then started to utilize the tea towers for the rest of the desserts. Everyone loved the food and the different teas, so I didn't let the food setup snafu ruin the party. Afterward, I received a lot of compliments and some were saying they would like to host their own tea party there. Austin was not available once the food was brought out. He apologized and advised the stands are no longer used because a platter slipped off a stand and fell on someone's foot.
