I purchased a new 3500 at Pitre Buick from out of state (CA). It was an AMAZING experience especially during a time when so many dealerships (Ford/Chevy/GMC/RAM) are charging massive markups for their trucks. 1) Vicente (Internet Sales) & Sean (finance) were both great. They had all vehicle & paperwork ready. Very nice people / Not the-typical-stereotype (seedy) car salesman. 2) Great Price. Great Communication. Buying process was low pressure and above board. 3) SUPER Fast Transaction! See #4. 4) I arrived late at Albuquerque airport after 6:00PM as when the dealership had already closed. They stayed open a little later to finish the transaction for me / much appreciation since they are closed Sunday. I would recommend this dealership to anybody (especially CA residents getting ripped off by their local dealers). Note: We've been a Ford family for my whole life owing several F150s & F350s for towing toy haulers. I have to say that Ford dealers were very, very scummy marking up vehicles from $15k to $25k and alienating me and even their Ford CEO, Jim Farley, who railed against dealerships publicly. I contacted a ton of Ford dealers including some of the largest Ford dealers in the world like 5starford/TX, BrandonFord/FL, Sunset Ford/CA etc. finding plenty inventory but at ridiculously unreasonable markup. I wasn't planning on leaving Ford but when I started peeking over the fence I was amazed. GMC, you got a new family. I LOVE my Danali 3500. Ford (Jim Farley), Bye Bye, dealership Integrity matters. What I like about my GMC 3500 over the Ford F350: 1) The RIDE! The suspension has 2 sets of springs for no-load and load. The drive is soooo smooth without a trailer whereas my F350 is like a kids bouncy house. 2) The GMC Tailgate is amazing. Second to none. 3) The Denali Heads-Up-Display / you don't need to look down for the turn by turn when hauling. So disappointed in this dealership- great salesman- great finance guy- haven't experienced the service department yet but the didn't even clean the sticky stuff off of the windshield. I went back and made them do it. Then the first rainy day, I tried to clean the truck spray and there was no washer fluid!! Omg!! Who doesn't top of the fluids when you buy a new $30K vehicle?? On a 3,000 mile trip towing a travel trailer, my Canyon diesel exhaust system clogged and put me in "limp" mode in Santa Fe. The dealer there couldn't get me in for 2 weeks. So, I limped all the way to my initial destination in Eagle Nest to park the trailer. GMC dealers are few and far between in NM, so I didn't expect quick service anywhere. I called Pitre Buick on Saturday and they said bring it in Monday morning. I was amazed! I drove to Albuquerque, Sunday and rented a hotel room (couldn't pull the trailer). My service manager, Angel, knowing our situation was incredible and got us out Monday afternoon for under $500. He even took my husband to get lunch while we waited. I have never been so impressed by any auto dealership including my hometown one. Kudos to Pitre and especially Angel. read more

I went in for a regular service of oil change and tire rotation and to have them check a "Check Brake System" alert on my 2019 GMC Terrain. This was the 2nd time. I had them check the same issue a few months back. At that time, I was charged an additional $145 because they had to use the diagnostic computer and promised me then the issue had been resolved. I come back with the same issue and was told by Angel Baros that the only way to fix the issue was to purchase a $500 battery they sell there. I refused to pay such amount for a car battery and requested for my vehicle to be released back to me. I saw one of the mechanics go and mess with the battery and was handed my keys. Soon after leaving the "Check Engine Light" came on. I took my vehicle to an Autozone to have them run a diagnostic check and also on the life of battery. Autozone said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the battery and that it was a battery sensor. I went back to Pitre the next day to tell them about the "Check Engine Light". Angel Baros again recommended buying the $500 battery and I asked him if that would fix ALL of the issues going on and he said no. My daughter made a comment to him about him BS'ing us, he then became irate and was told to leave the establishment if we were not going to buy the battery and to never go back. I had my son-in-law check the battery connections and there was one that was deliberately disconnected. As soon as it was plugged back in, the "Check Engine Light" came off. Never will I go back to Pitre for service or any type of purchases and will make sure everyone knows what an absolutely poor customer service experience I had with them. read more

I was HIGHLY disappointed in the services that I received on 8/14/2020, I went to the dealership knowing that there is an event going on (they're offering up to $4,000 over KBB price for trade ins). I was able to find a car priced at $22k, went to get the trade in value for my car and they only wanted to offer me $2,250 (KBB on my vehicle is $3,500) and then proceeded to tell me the extra $4,000 was included. (False.) I then get to the financing to see what the payments would be....big mistake. They wanted $3,000 down and $850 a month for 72 months! That would've put a USED CAR at over $60k. Took my business elsewhere, and bought a car the NEXT day! Will NEVER recommend this company to any friends or family! read more

I was hard pressed finding the truck I wanted and happened to be driving by Pitre when I spotted it. I checked the dealership hours and they were closing in 1 minute but Hector invited me in and stayed past closing for over 2 hours while I test drove and completed the paperwork. Afterwards they swapped us out for a truly horrendous my small vehicle payment was quite reasonable but was not at all what we desired. Then even the contractors wrong the primary ended up being the cosigner and the cosigner and that being the primary not really a good way to do business when the original vehicle was set up the right way. Very disgusted with this place left more than heartbroken and unhappy. Buying a vehicle supposed to be a joyful happy experience and this definitely was not. I was so relieved to find a bunch of honest, professional, courteous people working at this Buick dealership. I brought my little champ of a car in to have the airbag recall taken care of, and at the same time I wanted them to fix my heater blower which wasn't working. Sean took my call, and scheduled me an appointment for the very next day. The folks in the garage were super nice. I appreciated that they offered a shuttle service even though I didn't need to use it. The work was done and I was very satisfied. They weren't able to find a problem with my blower motor. After they replaced the airbag the blower was working. They checked it out for any issues, found none and didn't even charge me for it. So I got my car back, all fixed up with everything working properly, and no bill to pay at all. These are nice folks who wont rip you off. I highly recommend them. read more

I hav a friend who I had told to visit Pitre show room to purchase her new car. I had a great experience with the purchase of my Yukon. BUT After my last two experiences with their service department, and I told her of the damage that was done to my truck during repairs, and then my meeting with your service manager, who implied we had done the damage and was less than sincere with his apology, She wont be going there. The service Manager agreed to fix the torn rubber door gasket, the missing knob on the dash, Mind you the service person who checks your car in had thoroughly went over the vehicle looking for damage and things covered under warranty just the previous visit, ( he found no damage) When we left the dealership we had a scratched trim on my new Stereo system they installed. We are still waiting for parts to come in. 3 visits now for warranty work (in 4 weeks) and twice the truck has left with damage. Depending on what happens next this may be my last purchase from this company. We are already looking into getting warranty work done some where else. read more

My mother who is handicap, and uses a walker, was with me. Ben holds the door for use and as my mother approaches in her walker to exit, Ben closes the door and walks away. We have a chevy workhorse chassis on our RV. A few months ago, we went to the GMC dealer hoping for some basic information on this vehicle as we bought it used and it came with nothing. The service staff, at that time was incredibly helpful, both in providing schematics and advice. We have another problem and thought we might have the same kind of help. Boy, were we wrong. The service staff made it very clear that they were not interested in talking, much less helping. (Different people today that last time.) They were not actually rude, but simply bored by our presence. Not to worry. We won't be buying any GMC products in the future. Purchased a new car on December 8th. While doing the paperwork they were prepping the car. After all said done, went to eat and was showing my car to my parents. Found a spot in driver side fender where they had rubbed the car hard enough to take the clear coat off. Take it back same night and was told to bring it back in the morning to be fixed. On the drive to Santa Fe, I could barely see out of my windshield because of the streaks from a dirty rag they used. Next morning go to my car, you can see they dried the car with on dirty oily rag because the dirt stuck perfectly to the streaks. Take it in, tell me the paint guy isn't there. But will rewash the car. Windshield was still messy and the rear window was worse. Got told to bring the car the following Friday, show up but can't do it because of the weather. Guess they can't fix it in a garage. Get told to bring it back next Friday. Text the car salesman that sold me my car to find out if the paint guy is there so I don't waste another trip there. He has to find out from manager if paint guy is there, been waiting an hour. Oh and I used my windshield washer first time yesterday, sprayed it once, got a warning that window washing fluid is low. read more
