I'm leaving this review as a relative who has been closely involved in this situation and has personally had to help cover costs because of it. All Around Auto was the warranty provider involved, and this entire ordeal stems from their failure to supply the correct part. The transmission that was sent was not the correct one for the vehicle -- it turned out to be a minivan transmission. This mistake should never have happened in the first place, and yet it set off a chain reaction of delays, reinstallations, and repeated labor costs that our family has been forced to absorb. What's been most difficult is that this still is not resolved. Months later, there is still no car, and we're left waiting, anxious that the next phone call will be about yet another charge we're expected to pay because of someone else's mistake. I've already had to pay out-of-pocket costs myself, even though we did nothing wrong. Despite knowing the incorrect transmission was sent, All Around Auto has allowed this to turn into an endless cycle of back-and-forth with the shop instead of stepping in and fully correcting the issue. The lack of urgency and accountability has been incredibly stressful, especially given the financial strain it's caused. Speaking up has also been uncomfortable, because it feels like pushing for answers only leads to more delays rather than solutions. No customer or family member should feel uneasy advocating for something that should have been handled properly from the start. This situation has been exhausting, expensive, and completely avoidable. I would strongly warn others to be cautious when dealing with All Around Auto for warranty coverage, especially if you can't afford repeated labor costs or long delays without your vehicle. read more

The terrible sales duo Josh C & Mike T ran my credit 4 times before ever speaking to me AND tried to finesse me with an extremely high down payment of 50k, saying no deal is possible without minimum 16k down. When I refused to put anything down and requested to speak to a manager, I was suddenly approved. They refused to provide my ford credit application number and instead gave me the run around for almost 3 weeks with no communication. The contract I finally received stated the vehicle had 10 miles on it. When delivered, the vehicle showed signs of abuse. Dented driver door, and deep scratches On the rear passenger quarter window that I can't imagine being an accident. The dash showed the vehicle was driven extremely hard for 15.4 miles somehow achieving only 2.2 miles per gallon. Clear evidence someone was flooring it in my brand new vehicle. this is exactly why we don't see these vehicles on the road now. too much tom foolery resulting in me definitely getting a Toyota next. read more

Treated awfully at Don Chalmers Ford by some kid named Mike. Mike told me he was holding the vehicle for me, raised the price two times on me, and told me some lies to give me the runaround. I was still going to buy it and as I called to drop off a $17,000 check, he lied to me saying that they wholesaled the vehicle. I actually was on my way to talk to his manager and ended up spending $39k after stopping somewhere else on my way over there. Instead of talking to his manager I figured a review would suffice. They still have our truck after 3 weeks and no update! Brought it in for a Ford recall on Dec 22 with estimated 2 day turn around for the software update. They called and said we needed a new battery to do the update, fine, we agreed. Then no follow up. Turns out when the software was installed it actually killed the PCM (computer) and the truck can no longer function. They submitted a claim to Ford but NO ONE contacted us to let us know the status. If the truck can't function, the PCM needs to be replaced no matter what. We were never given the option to pay out of pocket or wait for Ford. I authorized the purchase of the PCM and told it would take another two days. Now that they have the PCM, we are being told we need two key fobs in order to update. Why wasn't this addressed previously. It's like they keep tacking on charges but never contacting us. So here we are... no information, they want $300 for a second key fob (which shouldn't be needed) and when I called today, the service rep is out of the office, along with the manager and director. How convenient. Due to their errors we can't even pick up the truck and take it anywhere else. Meanwhile I'm having to pay for rental car out of pocket due to their lack of due diligence. read more

We bought a brand new Edge in 2020. Everything leaving the dealership seemed wonderful. We took the best warranty and felt good about our purchase. Fast forward 4 years. We buy the extended warranty. Come September 2024 our sunroof stops working. We take it in to be taken care of. Turns out they are going to charge us $9,000 for the part! And it is not covered by our warranty. How is it that we buy a brand new car with the best warranty and extended warranty and our moon roof fabric isn't covered? What were we paying for?! We did our part. Payed for the warranty, for the best warranty. Paid all that money. We've been done dirty. Lied to. Just like every other dealership, cannot be trusted. A scam. I took it they fixed it they charge 150 just to diagnose plus the fixing price which is expensive. We ordered a New Bronco in 2020. Later in the year, due to the chip shortages, we were told it would be delated until mid to late 2021. While waiting, Chalmers and Ford held numerous "Bronco" themed events. During some of the events and always following each of these events, we were send some type of swag for attending. The swag ranged from Bronco Hats, miniature die caste Broncos, posters, hand cut wood / designed specialty Bronco Annual Calendars, etc... A few weeks before Christmas, an email advised us that Our Bronco was on the assembly line and a VIN had been generated. Just before New Years, our Bronco was delivered to the dealership. Our experience with Chalmers has been nothing short of amazing. Unlike other Ford dealerships, Chalmers did not add any additional costs to our Bronco order. Other dealers asked $1000 to place orders....Our liaison, Joselyn F., who took our original, took every one of our calls, answered every email, communicated at every opportunity, advised is of Bronco events, contacted us when dealer incentives were being offered, called or emailed when their were order delays and to update our orders/changes. The image of the traditional scuzzy car dealership. I bought a lightly used Mustang from them, and have had nothing but problems, which only came with one key that was broken, they were supposed to follow up, but didn't, I called back repeatedly, and eventually my calls started going unanswered. So I foolishly just resigned myself that I was stuck, and have been holding the all important key fob (since it's a push button start vehicle) together with duct tape. More recently I needed service on my vehicle, and a recall addressed. What they told me over the phone, versus what they told us in person about the repair were not remotely the same thing, and as for the recall, the back up camera doesn't work, and the trunk won't open. These are related issues, a faulty design made the cable that controls both to short and it becomes inoperative with the opening and closing of the trunk, but because the trunk won't open without pulling the release inside, they refused to fix the back up camera. Do yourself a favor, go to any other Ford dealership besides this one for your purchases, and literally any other mechanic for your service issues. read more

He was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband said it's the best Ford dealership he's been to because of Trevor. Excellent service experience. Came in for an oil change, but called first. Actual human beings in the service department picked up the phone and answered all my questions. The waiting area was clean and tidy and spacious, and both TVs were mercifully muted, so it was easy to get some work done. While there, the service advisor said my truck also needed a battery and air filter. I track all my own maintenance and sure enough, those items were due. They made other careful observations, such as for example, slightly uneven tread wear on one tire. All in all, it was a very thorough job, and I was kept informed at every step of the way. I'd like to credit Gail, Marc, Juan and Josh for answering my questions and helping me out. In a time where many Ford service departments don't pick up the phone, much less return messages, or engage in any way, my experience at Chalmers was almost old-fashioned and gratifying. Would not hesitate to recommend, and will probably go out of my way to return for next service. read more

My Dad is 85 years old! Chalmers Ford in Rio Rancho charged him over $9,000 to fix his oil leak. He paid them with a check. ONE week with the truck and it was still leaking oil. Then we had a call from a collection agency saying that the check did not clear. After the collection agency got ahold of it they cashed the check again! 3 months later we are dealing with collection agency trying to get a refund. So Chalmers took over $18,000 from my dads bank account. With the 2nd leak they charged him $5,000! We have paid $23,000 to Don Chalmers and the truck is still leaking oil! Talk about FRAUD! My 85 year old dad wants to take it back but I am worried that they will charge him another $10,000. WOW! So SAD that people take advantage of the elderly like this, they should be ashamed of themselves! read more

Took my truck to the service department because the heater would blow cold sometimes and it needed an oil change. They told me my water pump needed to be replaced, so we get it replaced where there was some issues with parts and it took a month in total. We get the truck back, smelling like a cat had been living in it for the past month, and not even a week later find a puddle of coolant in the driveway, we call don chalmers they take the truck back and call us the same night that it's ready to go and "to be honest they forgot to replace clamp but it's all good now" (a clamp we were charged for mind you) by the next day the truck is leaking coolant again, I call them again this time I spoke with the service manager Daryl who I expressed my frustration and concern for taking my truck back to them after now 3 times and it's in worse condition than I ever brought it to them. Daryl apologized and said this isn't the service he wants from his department and i let them take my truck once again to where they kept it two more days and on the second evening called me saying the truck is ready again, this time the person in the service department gave me a receipt that said they test drove the truck and found no leaks the coolant was at the same level as when they fixed the water pump, but it took them two days to come to this conclusion? So you wouldn't believe within two days the truck is again leaking coolant more than ever to where my husband calls the service manager again as well as the general manager Andy, who has never returned our calls. BUT to conclude my truck is now at another mechanic shop where they have taken apart the water pump to find don chalmers replaced maybe 10 percent of the hoses that would be necessary in this repair and the hoses they did replace, or took off and put back on where either punctured by clamps or the connector was broken on installation, causing more leaks, they never tested the pressure in the pump or any person with a brain would've found the numerous leaks they caused from their "repair" so long story short my truck is more damaged than it ever was before, we gave them $2400 and 57 days with the truck and now are in more for whatever it will come out to with this new mechanic so do NOT take anything you care about to don chalmers!!! read more
