So i started off with pitre when my vehicle broke, my air conditioner went out to be specific. When i went to pick my car up a week later my windshield was broken my air conditioner was still not working and there was grease all over the interior of my car. I had to then leave my car again for another week after crying, my car was finally fixed. My car happened to have problems a couple of weeks later so again i took it to pitre well, my car was considered a total loss through insurance, so here i was car less. Scott the general manager was happy enough to agree on 24 dollars a day for one of their loaners and id purchase one of their vehicles. Well that agreement was terminated because the GM did not keep his word and took the car back. I missed work and my son missed school not knowing that going back to the dealership their rental would be taken from me. They wouldnt give me a day to figure out how to get to work or my son to school. Oh but they comped the car so that made it better. Bobby was the rudest man i have met at a dealership he threw some papers at me after returning the car. Called my phone over and over trying to get the car when me and the GM had an agreement. I WILL NEVER bring my service to pitre again after getting them over 3000 dollars of work on my car. They dont care at all. The excuse i was given from pitre was they're not a car rental place and they already helped me enough. The GM wouldnt tell me himself he had a car dealer tell me. Well guys you just lost out on 15000 dollars. This dealership has 0 integrity and 1 out of their many employees who care. Oh and i didnt mention one of their car sales guys approach to me was "hi are you married?" and nothing was done there either. read more

We purchased a truck from this dealership in May and love our truck. However, we are truly disappointed with their sales group. We were promised a full detail and a full tank of gas for coming back since we lived 150 miles out of town. When we showed up we were told that we were lying and that we should have made sure that was in writing and that they sell $50,000 vehicles all the time so our lack of business on a future purchase wouldn't affect them. As a New Mexico teacher I am very disappointed in their lack of respect in the hard earned money that I spent at their dealership. The sales manager accused us of not washing our vehicle and made a spectacle in front of the sales representatives and customers. Totally rude and unacceptable. Any teachers considering a new vehicle purchase should look elsewhere to ensure a friendly and accommodating dealership.I will also be sharing this with fellow educators, friends, and family members. I've had a horrible experience with this dealership. I bought a used Gmc terrain back in March a week later I took it in because the truck sensors came on. Frank in service took it in and said it needs work done. The truck was there for a week getting some timing chain service done free of charge. About a month later the same sensors came back on and once again I took it to Frank and his crew worked on it free of charge. The truck stayed there for 2 days. Now just 2 weeks ago I was driving my truck and it left me stranded in the middle of unser and southern with oil spilling from the bottom of the truck. The truck has 86500 miles on it I've only put 4000 miles since I purchased it in the 5 months I've had it. Now they're telling me that the truck needs a new engine and that I have to cough up 3k and they'll put the remaining 3k to cover thr cost. I was told that the truck had a power train warranty of 100k miles and now they're saying the truck has no warranty because the truck was not purchased new. Horrible experience they sold me a lemon. read more

Do you like getting robbed? Take your car here for service then. Had my truck serviced there, needed the 50,000 mile shazam. They had the truck for 8 hours, the parts were $650, the labor was $812. So these guys bill at $101.5 per hour with out getting into the semantics of how they bill jobs....well lets do that. In their system an oil change takes 2.5 hours but if the mechanic finishes the job in 30 minutes you still get billed for 2.5 hours of labor. Shady! So kids don't aspire to be a chemical engineer when you grow up, just open a garage and rob people with a smile on your face ;) Next time I'll take it to Pedro, at least he brings in his Mom's cookies for you to meow on. read more

Bought my car on Craigslist and I feel like I bought a lemon! So frustrating. Usually I HATE going to dealership service departments. Most service advisors are rude, rush you, and don't give you the full story. Then I came to Pitre, took my car to get serviced and wow what an easy going experience it was with Frank Orozco. He was attentive, explained things well and really had the best customer service I've ever experienced before. Usually I never bother remembering who my advisor is because they all were horrible but I've been to Frank twice now. I won't take my car to anyone else now. Customer service is huge for me. On July 5, 2016 I took my car in for service for the safety recall on the lower control arm. I took it to Pitre Buick GMC in Albuquerque, NM. I was excited when the service department called two hours later saying my car was ready. When I went to pick my car, they had inspected for the car for two other safety recalls and not the original lower left control arm that I had brought it in for in the first place. When I pointed this out the check-in man (sorry I cannot remember the gentleman's name) went to get the service manager right away for me. Two hours later the service manager came out and asked what the problem was. After having explained for the third time the problem was he took my car to the back and on a test drive. The manager said he could make it make a noise on the rack but not on the test drive. I would just like to point out that you cannot get the lower control arm to rattle when you drive it on a road that does not have bumps. Once again I was invited on the test drive and the lower control arm problems barely raised their heads due to the fact that the drive was on a smooth road. The manager then put my car on the rack and invited me to come back so he could show me there is nothing wrong with it. He pushed and pulled on the wheel and could not get it to make the clicking sound that I said it was making and the "pulsing" of the breaks was due to warped rotors. The rotors were turned even though they did not need to be. It was also pointed out that the steering was a bit loose but it was nothing to worry about. My car has a slight wheel wobble when driving, pulsing when breaking, a metallic clang when on a jack and pushing the wheel left-right-left, and a very noticeable rattle when driving down a bumpy road. All of these are symptoms of a loose lower control arm. Also the team managed to break my key. It no longer opens or closes when the button is pushed. Needless to say I am not happy with the service that I received at the dealership and will not be returning. Nor am I going to recommend Pitre to anyone. I am a very dissatisfied customer. P.S. The only reason they get a star is because I have to give a star. This is the worst dealership ever. read more

Pitre was caught. They have had my vehicle for 4 months and 13 days as of the date of this post. They cannot fix a master cylinder..but they offer to sell me a new car all the time..The managers ignore my requests to finish the vehicle. The manager has stalled and delayed without explanation. My suburban has been in the repair service area for over four months without any explanation as to why. The managers treat this disaster like a joke...they also got caught trying to tell me to buy new parts that they said they had installed, when in fact they had not installed any new parts. I confronted the managers with actual photos, which showed they had not installed new parts, but they appologized and walked away. There is constant fraud and theft of service on customers. Working families are being targeted by this car business. Reporting this to the State Attorney Generals Office is a wise option. read more

Ok, so this was the 1st time I have leased a new vehicle. Luckily, I selected Pitre GMC for that experience. I ended up ordering a new Terrain (I'm picky), then leasing it at Pitre GMC. It was a great experience and as their Mission Statement says "I'm a fully satisfied customer". My sales people were Raymond and Ali. They were both knowledgeable and super friendly. I ended up sharing a few good times with them and they reciprocated. Ali is really a go-getter, nice to see that still exists. She listens to you and addresses any concerns you might have. It's more like a family atmosphere at Pitre, -vs.- a high pressure sales environment. I also enjoyed speaking with the general manager Wayne who was really chill, not your typical white collar site manager. He was very concise and efficient on helping me with my new lease. Last but not least, the "Finance guy", usually a calculator toting, non-people person, high pressure you need these extras or you will die sort of guy, Hector was way cool, personable, (Actually pretty funny) and just laid things out financially and was a true customer service oriented guy. He got me in to the office and out of the office efficiently and with the numbers I was looking for. I had to give him a kitchen pass, being he is a Longhorn from Austin. JK, he was an awesome dude, great service and great personality. All in all, my Pitre GMC lease experience was a really good experience with no runs, drips, or errors. I would strongly recommend them to friends and family looking for a Buick or GMC.
