Lamb Souvlaki Platter

Chicken sandwhich was hefty! Love the steak cut fries that came with it. The didn't taste gammy at all. Lovee everything about the bruschetta especially the toast and mozzarella. The angus beef were tender and well seasoned. The baklava was dry and kind of stale ? Our server was nice, and lits of seating inside and outside.

This place is located slightly West of NW corner of Alma School and Germann. It is fairly small so depending on the day reservations may be helpful. The people are very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The menu does have the standard Greek options but then there are some Italian fusion type options as well. The grilled pesto salmon was good but on the small side so we should have ordered an appetizer because we left hungry. For the price relative to some other Greek places the portions were smaller. The seasoning was good but not outstanding. Overall good for a small get together but not my top choice.

find some thing for them to munch on. I'm tired of the fast food so I've been only going to locals. This popped up and best gyro. I love Mediterranean food and this place was great! I ate the burger and the gyro and we all shared them. I got it to go and it was quick and wrapped well.

I still dream about this place. While road-tripping across the U.S. with my boyfriend, we decided on a whim to drive 30 minutes out of our way to eat here--and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the sweet and spicy fig hummus, babaganoush, lamb and chicken souvlaki platters, and a baklava cheesecake, along with two glasses of red wine from different regions. Everything was outstanding and generously portioned. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate, clearly explaining the ingredients, culture, and preparation behind each dish. With cozy indoor and outdoor seating, we left full and happy. If I'm ever in Chandler, AZ again, I'll absolutely be back! Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5

Lamb chops

One of our local favorites, the food selection is always fresh and the service is good, we have tried several items in the menu and all of them taste excellent. The appetizer dip trio is always a hit and the lamb chops very good and filling!

Limoncello cake

My wife and I truly enjoyed a wonderful meal in this cozy and pleasing atmosphere. Arriving for happy hour, we split a 1/2 price delicious bottle of Chardonnay. We split the garlic shrimp appetizer. The sauce was so delicious that we soaked the pita slices in the sauce and once we finished the pitas, we spooned the remaining sauce as soup! We enjoyed a nice slow and quiet Friday evening. The didn't blast music, yet it wasn't awkwardly silent. Great ambiance. For dinner, my wife enjoyed the salmon with pesto, which was quite delicious. I enjoyed the lamb souvlaki, which was quite tasty. Lamb is a less frequent meal option and I enjoy it when available. As if we hadn't enjoyed ourselves enough already, we split a limoncello cake. The filling was tasty and the cake was moist and not overly sweet. Overall, this was a great new restaurant find for us and we will be revisiting.

Greek chef salad with gyro meat, close up

I love meeting friends at this family owned hidden gem for lunch, especially when its cool enough to sit outside on their patio. My favorite menu item is their Greek Chef's Salad with gyro meat. Just look at my photo. Go ahead, look at it. Would you just look at it? Hard boiled egg, mixed greens, tomatoes, red bell pepper, kalamata olives, red onion, cucumber, topped with a house vinaigrette and generous portions of protein, shaved parmesan and grated feta, flanked by pita wedges so soft and fresh, you'd swear you just swam ashore to Thessaloniki after shipwrecking in the Thermaic Gulf. The staff has always been friendly and attentive over the decade or so that I've been a customer. You really have to experience it for yourself.

This is a mom and pop place you're going to want to support. It went hidden from us for years. The service is always friendly and attentive. It's always clean and the staff stay busy. The food, is always over the top good. Lots of fresh and clean options. And the desserts, never disappoint. But once they're gone, you'll have to wait til the next day.

Gyro Pitta with Side

This place is a neighborhood secret and I'm so glad I stopped by. It's hidden in the back corner near the mountainside fitness. Been in business for 18 years, family owned, and so cute. There is a garden with misters and indoor seating. The garden is shaded because it's in a courtyard. The avocado hummus was incredible! You can taste the fresh garlic and olive oil. I got the gyro pitta with a side salad. I will be a regular! I'm always looking for healthy food after a workout and I'm so glad I stumbled into this location. The food is incredible. They have a wine menu. Can't wait to come back.

Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

What a treat. Exactly what I'm looking for in a Caesar salad. So good! The pesto on the Caprese was house made and so tasty. I want to try a pesto dish next time. My wife had the Sacchetti Porcini with truffle and it was light and perfectly balanced flavor. The pillows melted in your mouth. Will definitely have again. The Lobster Ravioli had a well balanced limoncello flavor and not too creamy. Cool striped pasta. Perfect for those not super hungry but wanting a unique dish that is sure to please. Steak Nicola was was cooked to perfection and had a suburb combination of black truffle, aus jus and prosciutto cotto to make it a memorable dish. I'm still craving it the day after. Loved this place!…read more Food was super fresh and the staff was very friendly. The inside is very mom and pop. However, it's super spacious. Today I ordered a side of beef sambousek and pickles based on others reviews. I thought the pickles tasted like a solid kosher pickle. If you're a pickle purest you should love them. The sambousek was definitely a hit! It was delicate and full of flavor. It's worth getting all three of them. I'll do that next time. The main entree was a kafta kebab wrap which is automatically served with some of the tastiest seasoned fries I've eaten in a long time. In fact, I would say it's worth it to just order a side of fries alone. Anyway, the kafta had a homemade vibe to me and was topped with the usual suspects. An order of kibbeh and hummus rounded out my order. The kibbeh was perfectly cooked and the hummus was super creamy as house made hummus goes. Oh! This may sound crazy but I was even impressed with the lemon slices in my water. They tasted a little sweeter than what I'm accustomed to when eating out. Overall I really liked this place and it was worth the drive across town. Next time I'll be taking friends with me to enjoy a meal. One last note regarding payment. They do have Apple Pay! Woohoo! Just be aware whether you're using Apple Pay or a card, to avoid the small fee use your debit card instead of a credit card.

The waitress never gave us or offered us any refills on drinks. She was gone most of the night. There's an upcharge for fresh bread and so I said yeah, we'll do it. She said she'd bring out the pee-packaged pita bread and the fresh bread that we paid extra for. Then she never brought out the pee-packaged stuff like she said she was going to. The bread was ok, but they only gave us 3 pieces of pita bread which were about the size of a sand dollar. This was not enough bread for 2 people with 3 dips. Also, the fries were the kind of fries you get when it looks like they haven't cleaned the grease in a while. The babaganoush was really good. But everything else was pretty mediocre. I've been here 3 or 4 times and everytime I feel as though the service is bad and the food is overpriced. It's really sad, but I want to like this place, but I can't. Also, they have a rewards program but my waitress didn't try to get me to sign up. I asked when I saw it. It's a pet peeve of mine. I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.

I was reminded why I don't dine here more frequently, they put the 'meh' in Mediterranean. Starting with the ambiance, this place is looking old and weathered. Their store front is not very inviting. Once inside, you navigate through their dining area to the counter to order. The counter area looks more like an advertisement for other establishments...stickers, ads, coupons, notes and all sorts of motley items. The man who I think was doing three jobs in one (host, order taker, bathroom attendant) took my order and walked away. No friendly hello or enthusiasm of any kind. Once I took my seat I watched several people use their store just for the bathroom in the back...the back where there's no door separating the dining area vs. kitchen vs. warehouse vs. bathroom. People were standing in a line to use the restroom a foot from where my food was being made. I ordered a simple gyro sandwich with rice. The sandwich was pretty straight-forward: gyro slices, onions, tomatoes and tzatziki. When it arrive, there was no sign of tomatoes or onion...just different shades of brown drowning in too much tzatziki. I eventually found several onions and one tiny tomato underneath all the meat. Underneath...what a poor presentation. The rice was okay...nothing special. There was nothing here that would draw me back.
