Excellent! Came on a Thurs night and even though it was full, the noise levels were perfect. Music was at a good volume, so people didn't need to yell. Service was not too slow, not too fast. Servers were very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful Food was on point. Loved the pimento (simple but delish), complimentary rolls, confetti salad. Loved the pork and lamb entrees. Pork is juicy with a lot of fat! Lamb chop is quite gamey but also great. HUGE portions. Didn't like the grits DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT THE SOUFFLÉ. Beyond lives up to the hype. If you like citrus, pixie pie was good, but wouldn't get again For drinks, loved our mai tai soda (sweet and strong) and sumac spritz (very balanced, sweet & citrusy). Excellent Portuguese red wine too

I really wanted to love this place. Dinner took over two hours. The meal was very mediocre.

My friends and I ate here before going to support another friend of ours at Target Margin Theater…read more I love how familiar the place feels with an almost elevated hole in the wall aesthetic. We were greeted warmly by staff and our servers were very informative, patient and helpful. The restaurant is on the smaller scale so once it started to get busy service was less quick but no less attentive! For the table to share, we got the calamari and shrimp (which came highly recommend and with good reason!). The dish was very well seasoned and the sauce had a slightly spicy kick that I quite enjoyed. For my entree, I ordered the chicken frances. This dish came with a side of spinach so the lemonyness was able to shine without being over powered by other elements. I'd give it a 7.5/10. Very fresh and delicious! If we're ever in the area, my friends and I will definitely come back for a drink and a light bite.

I also had chicken empanadas which were good but they were absolutely scorching on the inside. The ambiance and service was chilled. I usually order two drinks at a time but they told me I was only allowed one drink at a time. Their price point for an entree, appetizers and 4 drinks including one beer came out to about 100 bucks and this was including their happy hour prices. Overall 4 stars solid

We ordered the chicken liver mousse, crispy potato tart, and burger. The chicken liver mousse is a must order and something I get every time I come here, whether it is this location or the Park Slope one. The mousse itself is rich, creamy, savory, and packed with umami. I just wish it came with something better on the side. The pita was a little underwhelming and was not warmed all the way through. The crispy potato tart was excellent. The potato was super crispy, and a bite with the salmon, egg, sour cream, and potato together was perfect. The lightly dressed arugula helped cut through the richness and made for a nice palate cleanser. The burger looked pretty simple when it arrived, but it ended up being surprisingly good. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great neighborhood spot and one I would happily come back to.
