This time, it was nearly impossible to get appointments and they were at horrible times and over 30 minutes from my house. ATI just happened to open recently in the Clarksburg Harris Teeter Center in Clarksburg Village. I figured I'd give them a call. What a refreshing change of pace from what I usually get at physical therapy. It was easy to get an appointment and I was able to do most of the forms online, ahead of my appointment. When I got there, they are keeping the number of staff and patients low, so I felt safe (with Covid restrictions). All the staff has been vaccinated for over a month. They were constantly wiping things down and everyone was masked. There was generally only 2 or 3 clients there at a time while I was there. They also have a private room if you need more privacy. I had to fill out another form, on their client laptop when I got there, and then I had my evaluation. Both women who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly. They isolated my problem quickly and got me started. They told me how long I could expect healing to take. They went over their responsibilities and mine to ensure I have a positive outcome. No other physical therapy place has ever done that with me. I was able to schedule my full 6 weeks of appointments at my first appointment. My old place would only let me schedule 3 week out and then they wouldn't have availability and I'd have to stall my therapy. The place is super clean and conveniently located. I'm so glad I found ATI and this location. Looking forward to feeling better and completing my therapy with them.

I've visited here about ten times since then and I've been very happy every time that I come here. The place is very simple and unassuming. It is not a fancy, upscale kind of place, so if you are expecting that you will be disappointed. But the environment is very calm and relaxing, everything is very clean and the place smells pleasant, and the massages are consistently very good for the price. I've had several therapists take care of me here, and while their individual techniques and skills vary, each massage has been very relaxing and released a lot of stress, and I was very happy by the time my massage was finished. Each lady was very courteous and polite, and even assisted me in getting dressed afterwards, which is a very nice touch, as opposed to chasing me out of the room for the next customer, which most of the "less opulent" establishes tend to do. I wish I could have the same masseuse who would come to know me like Ana did. I feel more comfortable that way being with someone I'm familiar with. But it seems that is a rare luxury now. To sum it all up, I'm always happy when I come here.

This is the prenatal massage I had in mind during my previous experience at another place. Nancy gave me a full body massage but made sure to focus on that evil knot in my lower back. She ended with a foot rub and hot towels on my feet- so rejuvenating. She also asked if I wanted the table heated or not prior to beginning, which was nice I'm always hot. I even had a comfy pillow for my belly and one to keep between my knees. Be warned this is a bare bones establishment. The location is in the rear, bottom floor of a strip mall so I could hear what sounded like furniture being moved around upstairs. But if you don't care about spa frills, you won't find a better massage at a bargain price!
