An absolute waste of money, these look like floats high schoolers put together. In no way is this worth more than maybe $5-7/person.

It did not meet our expectations. It was in need of some heavy tlc. Some the special effects didn't work.

I reached out to Fat Cats, and someone from their events department contacted me almost immediately. They walked me through every option--bowling times, shoe rentals, food packages, menu choices, how many each package would feed, and all the available add-ons. Everything was clearly explained, itemized, and incredibly easy to understand. A week after booking, more family members decided to come, so I needed to make some changes. Their events team handled everything seamlessly without missing a beat. Their customer service is truly five-star. When we arrived, there was a large welcome sign with our family name on it, which made everyone feel special. Our bowling lanes were ready to go, decorated, and waiting for us. The food arrived fresh, hot, and delicious, and everyone loved it. Most importantly, my kids, grandkids, my wife, and the rest of the family had an amazing time. Fat Cats made the entire experience effortless and memorable. I couldn't have asked for a better family reunion. Five stars to Fat Cats and their entire team. Thank you for making our day so special!

Mulligans Golf & Games - Walkway to the Haunted House Mini golf course

We found Mulligans on Yelp and all agreed this place looked like our best option. After paying $8/ea, the employees working indoors directed us to the ball bag and putters and then we were off. There's two courses, a lighthouse and a haunted house course. They didn't look much different but we chose the haunted house. The scariest part of the haunted house course was trying to retrieve my wife's golf ball when it didn't come out of the pipe...who knows what critters were in there. The course was in good shape...smooth turf, no obvious damage to the unique features, etc. The plants, trees, flowers and other ambiance surrounding the course was also well manicured. The holes were interesting enough with a good mix of skill and luck. Mulligans also offers two short golf courses on the property (both 9 holes), a driving range and batting cages. The driving range looked like it had a lot of spaces and even a double-decker section to shade you from the sun (couldn't tell if it was open or not). My review is simply for the mini golf experience as we didn't try anything else, but it's always nice to see golf places for all levels of players...my kids would have loved to play a 9-hole course if we brought our clubs.

I don't think it was a Monday night special, we were able to play both mini golf courses for $8/person. Some of the holes were super challenging and I could see myself coming back again to try it. It seemed like they were actively working on some of the obstacles so, it will probably change and improve over time. This is a great low stakes outdoor activity for people that want to get a little sunshine with little effort. I only have 2 very minor complains. The first is that the food stand wasn't open when we went there around 2pm on a Monday, but no worries, there was lots of food in the area. We ended up getting food nearby and coming back to finish our game. There's tons of picnic tables around, so they're probably cool with people packing a picnic. We will probably just plan on doing that in the future. Also, when we first showed up, there were TONS of kids, which was a little annoying. They were climbing all over the features and they were impatient with the groups ahead of them on the course. When we came back from grabbing food, around 5, it was way quieter. So my advice if you want to avoid the kids is to come around dinner time or maybe first thing in the morning. We think we accidentally showed up when kids had just gotten let out of school. I could see this place being super busy on the weekends. We will totally come back when we're looking for a cheap activity with friends. They have lights all around, I could see this being a super cute little date night activity too!

I've been here for 3 games now in different areas of the ballpark…read more The food is definitely overpriced and I'd just skip it altogether and eat at home first unless you're going for that hot dog at the ballpark photo. Easily the worst hot dog I've had though. If you're sitting on the berm you're probably saving money and/or with kids. This is a great option with kids as everyone is very comfortable with them just running around freely and adults are pretty much just there for the vibes. If you're going in the peak of summer though you will be full sun the entire time and it will be brutal on a hot day. If saving money and vibes are your goal then this is a good option, in which case just take the trax, which you could literally even do just from one stop over, rather than paying $10-$25 for parking depending on which lot. You really won't see much of anything from out there though so if you actually care about the game, might consider moving closer. The stadium seats are really nice and it's much easier to care/pay attention when you're closer with fantastic views of everything. Shade for the majority of the evening and easy to find your seats. The ledge seats in section 201 have been my favorite experience so far though because you can still see everything but you also still have more freedom to move around, plus it's just more comfortable having a table. I would get the churro again, even though it was $7. I would also get the brisket (not pictured, and don't remember price) again; was probably just very hungry but I really enjoyed the brisket sandwich, thought it was tender and juicy. I would get $20 worth of Costco hot dogs just for the hell of it before I ever consider getting a single one of the $8 tough ballpark hotdogs ever again. The nacho bowl (possibly $21? I just venmo-ed $7 for my share of it) was alright but pretty underwhelming for an exorbitant price when I could just make it myself. The hibachi is white people hibachi. Very meh. Overall the ballpark itself is beautiful with tons of food options, plenty of activities to keep kids busy, several large bathrooms throughout, plenty of commute/parking accessibility options for everyone to work out what's best for their budget, and in a good location with a lot of food and entertainment immediately around to check out on foot before/after a game. Just takes a big hit for me with way overpriced subpar food.

The party was in a shared party room and at first we were the only one. So it felt like a really intimate private event and we were able to play our music like we wanted to, and then toward the end of our party we had to share the space a little bit. But with the party package the hostess secured we received unlimited drinks from the fountain machine, pizza, and salad. They provided all of the dishes and cleaned up. The birthday child also received a giant card available to be signed by the guests. I don't know if this was just something that our hostess secured or if it's normally an option but she was also able to get passes with a $5 (or so) arcade card for $20 a person. The pass gave us access to unlimited activities and we could reload our arcade card if we wished. Of the activities that I recall are: Laser tag (So fun for adults and kids!), bumper cars, bumper boats, mini golf, bowling, rock climbing, and racing cars (I can't remember the actual name of it). We were not there for long enough to get to do anything more than once because we wanted to experience so much, then I bet if we went back and we went in at open we would be able to enjoy a lot. There's also a food area should you want to buy food or lunch while you are there. I don't know the rules on exiting and re-entering.

Between the arcade, bowling, laser tag, mini golf, and other attractions, there's plenty to keep families entertained for hours. We did try hosting a birthday party here once, and unfortunately the party room experience wasn't very well organized. Even so, it's still a great family destination, and we'll definitely continue visiting for the fun activities.

I saw a Facebook event for a date night-various golf challenges, a little bit of instruction, dessert in your golf cart while watching the sun set over the mountains. Sounds perfect, right? Yeah, it pretty much was. When my wife and I arrived, we immediately felt out of our league. All the other couples were wearing golf-appropriate attire (Nike everywhere!) and practicing putting while we waited. We took a few eyebrow-raised glances, but were determined to have a good time. We were sitting in prime real estate-the shade-while we waited for instruction to begin our night of adventure. A few folks joined us, including one person whom we later learned to be one of the instructors, and started up some casual conversation. We found that each of the challenges was fun, but also led by professional golf instructors who were extremely patient and rather good at what they do. They recognized that we were newbies and gave us simple tips to get started. Everyone was very friendly, we did not feel like we were unwelcome at all. By the end of the night, my wife was asking about taking lessons. We had so much fun, the instructors were all so good and the course is just beautiful. What's not to love? We'll be back.
