DO NOT ORDER FROM PIXIES GARDENS!!! I ordered a tree from this company as I believed that it was a reputable business, BOY was I wrong. I understood that due to Covid 19 any delivery might take awhile so I wasn't initially questioning their ethics. My payment was processed almost immediately yet three weeks passed and I received no shipment notification. I decided I should try to contact someone so I called, and called and called some more only to have no one answer. I left numerous voicemails and received no response, I emailed multiple times and there was absolutely no communication back from anyone. Multiple attempts to simply ask if they are eventually going to send my product were completely ignored. They continued to ignore all of my messages even as they updated their website and Facebook page daily. Finally I messaged them directly through Facebook messenger and someone did respond, yet through it all all I was given was their same universal response that they have been giving to all of their victims. "Sorry for the late reply, We try to ship the plant as soon as possible, but it is getting delayed due to COVID-19 and taking a bit longer. We will be able to ship your plant by the end of this week." Well after a month of waiting I finally received my Order of what they claim is a 5 in 1 cocktail tree only to find that the top of the tree is completely dead, angle cut with shears for some reason. The lower leaves are eaten up by insects and it almost certainly can't be a 5 in one tree as it only has 3 limbs. It honestly looks like they just grabbed a dying weed off of the side of the road and threw it in a box! I doubt this tree (air quotes of tree) will survive a week in the ground and I am concerned about having it near any of our other plants and trees since something clearly decimated it's leaves. I should have looked harder at all of their reviews before I ordered from them. There are so many horrible reviews of this company and many of the 5 star ones on Google are created by people who have never reviewed anything else before or after, many of these seem to be fake reviewers or possibly even friends of theirs. This company even has an F Rating with the Better Business Bureau and I can definitely see why. I have gotten better trees from Lowe's, Home Depot or probably could even from a dumpster. This was supposed to be something fun I could plant with my three year old but instead it has turned into a headache for me. Bought an Okame Cherry Blossom Tree. The tree arrived very diseased. I sent an email asking what should be done, i.e. advice or if they would send me a replacement plant. Also tried calling them. On the call all you get a voicemail, tried this a few times. The email help ticket said they would reply in 2 to 3 days. Its been more than 2 weeks and no one has replied. FOR ONLINE ORDERS, BUYER BEWARE! Just know that when you purchase online from Pixies Garden, you will have no recourse if you are dissatisfied. While the blueberry tree arrived fine, the $200 avocado tree was neither the size nor condition represented on the website. It was supposed to be a 7 gallon tree, but it arrived in a 3 gallon pot with a tiny 2" rootball. The top was a skinny dead twig; the only living 6" sprig exists below the graft, meaning it is likely not growing the tree I ordered at all, but rather the rootstock. I emailed customer service photos and details, only to receive condescending and argumentative emails in return. They gave no apology, no admittance of wrongdoing and, eventually, a $19 refund which I told them was entirely inadequate. Awful customer service! They never sent the two plants that were ordered ( can't give tracking numbers because they were never shipped! Yet they will not take calls about this problem... "they said stop calling this number" and they say to send an email which was sent several times to no avail. I ordered a Fuyu Japanese Persimmon Tree from Pixies Garden Nursery in Conyers GA. I arrived 12 days after placing the order. I paid $199.99 for the tree. The box was opened when I received it. However, I believe the plant was okay. I ordered a 5 gal tree which was the next step down from the 7 gal. The tree I received was 4 ft tall, maybe .25" caliper. I ordered the same tree from another nursery for $124.94. It was 7-8 ft tall and 1.25 caliper. I will never again get ripped off by Pixies Gardens. read more

My Wife and I live inside the perimeter and have been searching for a well prepared, reasonably priced, all-around good alternative to the in-town nurseries/Lowe's/HD. Pixies Garden carries EVERYTHING and they want to spend time with you tothey want to plan and find the right solutions at the right price. There was a large variety of trees, shrubs, and foliage to select from, however, I would suggest making your purchases through their on-line service or make an appointment before going to the nursery, it's a family run business with limited parking! Ok, keep in mind, Pixies gardens is a backyard gardens, so don't expect the spit and polish you might get from a Pikes, and so forth. What you should expect is 10,000 or so plants that are hand raised by a master gardener on her own property, and her husband who she runs the business with. My interest is edible landscaping, and I left with 4 varieties of healthy blueberry bushes, a blackberry (they had at least 3 varieties that I saw off hand), a raspberry and an elderberry. They are trying to focus on plants that are native to the region, but do have some others as well, as they do ship to other parts of the country. This is a very friendly and helpful business, but as it is run out of their home, it is recommended that you call before making the drive. I live in Marietta, but it was well worth the drive to Conyers. read more

Bala at Pixies Gardens has been super! We needed some schip laurels and he had them. Good communicator - although you should be patient - as he's actually working out in the nursery not just sitting behind a computer, which should provide some confidence! It's a little challenging to order from far away - from someone - for the first time - but the 20 schips were well packed and arrived in time and are doing beautifully after six weeks. It helps that we're having a nice easy growing season this Spring - good rain and warm, not hot days (yet). So they've had some really good growth! THANKS!!!!!!!! Within minutes I emailed the company and left a message giving them my order number and asking them to cancel. A week later the trees arrived at my house. I bought a 5 gallon potted Chicago Hardy fig tree ($89.00) and what I got was a bare root 2 gallon tree ($19.00). A guy named Alan Hung said in an email that the 5-gallon is about 3 feet tall, what I got was not even 2 feet tall. Maybe he was measuring from the bottom of the "pot". I am not even sure if it is the species they claimed it was (Chicago Hardy). The plant came in a crumpled box and when I opened it branches were broken! Even though I was tired from work, I planted it in my pot and watered it because I felt sorry for the plant. I tried to call them the following day but their numbers are programmed not to answer inquiries or complaints. You can't even leave a message because their box is always full! So I just gave up and charged it to bad buying experience because once you are hooked by them you are at their mercy. DO NOT BUY FROM PIXIES GARDENS, EVEN AT AMAZON! My tree arrived in a box 5x too big and was upside down, the entire weight on the tip. The leaves were dried up, dead, and a handful of dead leaves were in the box. First time fine, second time took 5 weeks multiple follow ups and then arrived in poor condition. I'll be buying from my local nursery from now on. Altogether disappointing. Azalea had a tree seedling growing in it. Obviously had not been inspected. Also all branches were curved as if not planted with proper light source. Hydrangea was a stick with sagging leaves. I agree; never shop from Pixies Gardens. Shipping took a very long time, and it was shipped during really hot dry weather. Plant arrived barely alive, one tall spindly dried up specimen with only few straggly leaves, and inspection of undersides revealed a health crop of aphids.I doubt I'll even try to plant it. read more

Received my three plants today. They had evidently been dug up & plopped into gallon pots with just the dirt that clung to the roots. That line about nurturing is false advertising. The containers were then smushed so that all three fit into one box. Yes, the pots were wrapped in plastic so that little dirt was spilled but the plants are broken up from banging around during shipment. The pvc pipe that was supposed to prevent crushing was sticking out of the box like a spear. It will be a miracle if the lantana survive. I will not order plants from Pixies Gardens again. read more

I'm giving the owner one star because he was nice when I talked to him by phone. I ordered a Bottlebrush Little John on 1-18-19 and he said he'd hold it until I called. He charged my credit card $35 at that time which I thought was strange. I later sent him an email on 2-12-19 asking him to cancel the order and to please refund my money. He did not call or reply to me. On 2-11-19 I called and asked why my money hadn't been refunded and he asked what I'd ordered. I told him and he said he didn't have "Little John". He then told me to "never mind" and he'd send the refund in to my credit card. On 3-4-19 and I had no refund and no plant. I'm hurt because he sounded so helpful. I am from Atlanta and they had everything and I mean everything from Paw Paw trees to Goji bushes, Choke Cherries and all the normal things in between like peaches and roses. They had 6 types of fig and 7 types of blueberry. Their advise is spot on too. If you live in Atlanta it is economical and huge.
