I decided to try again to because I still like the pizza, and the girl taking the order over the phone hung up the first time I called before she could even do her greeting, so I called back and she was extremely rude and hung up the second she told me my total. Ordered pizza tonight and it was amazing! They were professional and polite on the phone, the pizza arrived on time, delivery driver was nice and the food was amazing. Stopped to grab pizzas while visiting family down in SoCal. The pizzas were hot and the flavors were on point. I especially liked the pastrami pizza, very creative toppings and it tasted like a hot pastrami sandwich but better. I highly recommend people check out this place. Overall, the pizza at this place is pretty tasty, especially the pastrami pizza. I have although been overcharged twice, with consecutive orders, without reasoning. I have also experienced while calling in to place an order, a quite rude employee taking my order who seemed like she was rushing me, and wasn't even able to describe the ingredients in a pizza when I simply just asked what sauce was used. My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try this place for a while and I had driven by one day and seen that they had an extra large for $7.99. We ended up ordering one a couple of days later for pick up. The service was good, the girl I talked to over the phone was friendly and our order was ready for pick up in 15 minutes. The pizza itself was decent, I like that a lot of their stuff is fresh, it makes me feel better about eating pizza. However, the crust is super plain, almost cardboardish and I really didn't like that. Also I wish they cut it into smaller slices. I feel like an extra large should be ten slices, not eight. People end up eating more than they should since the slices are bigger. The service was good and the pizza was okay, if the crust was better we'd be back. read more

Poor Customer Service. I was charged twice on my visa check card and in calling in the following day, the Manager Oscar contact the owner to advise of the error. The owner did not care about the issue and indicated that they have cancelled the transaction but funds will not be credited to my account for 3 to 4 days. It's only $58 but shows that they don't care about their customers. I don't think they would accept being paid for their pizza in 3 to 4 days. I would caution anyone from ordering from Pizza 101 and check their credit card transactions! read more

if I could give no stars I would.. they fuck up my order every time and I have atleast given them seven chances to get it right.. the pizza is chewy and bland no matter what I get, the chicken wings are half raw, I cant even eat the skin, tried giving it to the dogs and they wont even eat it.. never get the right sauces if any at all, service takes forever, half an hour turns into an hour and we are all starving and desperate to eat any crap shit they give us.. So I had guest at my house and I was busy , so I waited for everyone to leave and I called pizza 101 to complain . I had told them that I've been a customer for a long time and they have never brought me cold pizza , The young girl that was working the phones that night said we will take care of you this time, but next time don't wait three hours to call back. I explained that I had guests over and I was very busy. She gave me an attitude and I asked to speak with a manager, she told me that she was the manager, with an attitude. I told her I didn't think she was the manager because of the way her attitude was so I asked to speak with her manager. She told me that she was the owner !! She definitely wasn't the owner because she sounded like she was 18 years old. I highly doubt the owner would be there at 10 PM answering the phones. I called a delivery order the lady said it would be 15 mins so after 45 mins of waiting i called to ask what was going on with it, and the lady said she had be down for pick up. so about an hour or so into all this the pizza shows up cold and they want to charge me full price. So i ask if the delivery guy ( who was great btw) could call his manager and ask for a discount cause it was cold and not my fault. All his manager would do is take off the 2.00 delivery charge, so i asked if they could take it all back make me a new order and i wouldnt mind paying full price and waiting longer if i had to. I was actually really excited to try this place after moving into the neighborhood. Prices were good, and their menu had a lot of great looking items that I was looking forward to trying over time. However, after my first order I will not be going back. We had walked in after deciding not to go to another place across the street, ordered, drove home, went to eat the pizza and salad and realized we weren't given dressing for our salad. Who eats salad without dressing? Not the norm. I could see assuming someone DOES want dressing, not the other way around. So I call, and inform them I don't want to, and shouldn't have to drive all the way back there to get the dressing THEY forgot to give us. I'm told they won't bring it. So now I leave my pizza, to get cold, as I go back to get the stupid dressing.. and of course I have to stand and wait in line again, then I'm told by the guy at the register that I didn't tell him I wanted dressing. Are you serious? as if it's not included? I never said I didn't want any. We finally got to eat at like 9pm, when we got there a little after 8 to order. Ridiculous. read more
