THE SCOOP: Tasty pizza prepared speedily. THE DEETS: The pepperoni pizza is mediocre, but the supreme pizza is amazing and remains my favorite. The way that they put bacon topping on the pizza is a bit strange, so I avoid order anything with bacon (which is typically my favorite topping at other pizza joints) but for the price, I really can't complain. Their wings are delicious, but they skimp on the ranch sauce (which is also delicious)... they only give one cup of ranch for both the regular and the large order of wings... they should consider giving 2 cups with the larger order since the price is so high. Just my two cents. BOTTOMLINE: After trying just about every other pizza place in the area, we've settled on his place as our go-to for a pizza-fix. You can call in the order or order on the website. The pizza is always so good! I first had Golden when my friend ordered pizza for a get together at my place. She's from LA and found the closest pizza to me (in Fontana). Since then it's been one of my go-go spots! The toppings are always fresh! The size is great! The cheese?! Oh man. It's just like you see in those phony commercials. Except, Golden is the real deal! The wings are ok. Not bad and not excellent. But they are good. The "potato wedges" are really just frozen fries. I was let down, but meh. It was edible. The service is always amazing and the restaurant itself is welcoming for you to wait for your order. I've only been to the Fontana location and they have ice cream there as well. It's a small spot so not really anywhere to sit and eat. I think if they added a chair or two, it'd help. read more

I'm kinda torn between 3 or 4 stars but I'm gonna go with 4. On my drive home from picking up my kids, I see this place every day. Finally I decided to give it a try. I saw several specials posted on the window, including a 5 dollar large pizza. Golden Pizza is located in a corner strip mall with plenty of parking. The place has a large lobby, they even sell thrifty ice cream . There was 1 guy working and he was taking orders and making orders. For what I ordered, 2 large pepperoni pizzas and 20 wings, 25 bucks is a good price. Dude said it would be about 10 minutes and sure enough, it took about 10 minutes. Off I went back home to feed the fam. Everybody liked the pizza, they kept asking me where I got it from. The wings weren't for me but they messed up that part of my order. I asked for 10 plain and 10 bbq. When I got home I found that I received 10 plain and 10 hot. Boooooooo, they were doing so good lol. So the prices here are reasonable and the online ordering and communication great. However, I ordered the four large pepperoni pizza pack and additional two large cheese pizzas for my class( for non meat eaters) and unfortunately I got six cheese pizzas. When I called to complain the employee said that's what I ordered, but I have the receipt and it's not what I ordered. He said I could come into the store and exchange them or something. I don't know he was confused on what I was trying to communicate to him or being obtuse on purpose. I guess I will go back to Pizza hut for pizza delivery. read more

We weren't sure how this would turn out, so my husband didn't even have me call in our order, and left to check the place out himself. 15 minutes later he was back with 2 pizzas in hand! Hooray! Good pizza, I like the wings, cheese bread is good, in the summer while waiting for pizza the ice cream is good. Good place to replace the previous pizza joint, am a frequent customer. Service varies depending on who is there, sometimes I get a perfect pizza, sometimes the pizza is just a plain mess aesthetically speaking, other than that good enough to eat. It's not gonna discourage me as a customer. Just have to work on that consistency and it can be a pretty legit pizza joint. Do recommend. read more
