We discovered this pizza joint in July 2020. Since then, we have been back 4-5 times. We are from Calgary, about 1.5 hours away, and will go to Drumheller for the pizza. Ridiculous, I know, but it's worth the drive. What we have found out during our take outs...they are closed on Sundays & Stat Holidays, and this is a family-owned/run establishment. Customer service is awesome! We love the Greek Pizza!!! The sauce is very tasty, their is an abundance of fresh toppings and the crust is just right. We have tired to find a place in Calgary to match Pizza 249 and have not found it. Eat local! read more

Great pizza. Reminds me of Royal Pizza. Very thick with toppings, so it's really filling. Usually I can eat like 4 pieces for dinner, and I was stuffed after 3 pieces. The place is a total hole-in-the-wall, but don't let that fool you: the pizza is delicious. My only issue was that my tummy hurt the next day because of all that rich food, but that was my fault for eating so much, not their fault lol. read more

Very simple, basic decor. Wait, it has no decor! But man, do they make great pizza. It is old school, delicious pizza. Toppings you can taste, cheese you can see, with a beautiful dough, well cooked and nicely caramelized on the bottom. Sauce is a wonderful, tasty addition, not an afterthought. This pizza shop is located in downtown Drumheller, Alberta. It is a clean business with simple decor. I was craving a non-chain pizza and this place nailed it! It is a 2 for 1 deal and prices are reasonable. Pizza is delicious with fresh, plentiful toppings and a wonderful crust. It tastes homemade!
