Went here looking for Pizza, but once we saw the menu, completely flipped. We ordered the house salad, Chicago Beef Sandwich and a Hot Italian Sausage sandwich. The salad was terrific. The Chicago Beef was tender and delicious, but not as highly seasoned as what I've eaten in Chicago. the Au Jus was fantastic. Couldn't find any gardinera though. The Italian sausage was delicious, but the sausage was very skinny, more the size of a hot dog and only filled 2/3 of the bun. Since they did such a good job on the Chicago beef They should try a Pittsburgh Hot Italian Sausage where the sausage is usually 1-1/2" thick and cut to the length of the bun or slightly longer. Keep the sausage flavor exactly the same. The onion and peppers were great, but I prefer mine with some marinara, which they provided. Little service with the fast food type order process but they supplied me with whatever I needed when I went to the counter. read more

I've been there two times within a few months and my pizza's were burnt both times. This is my second visit and I decided to take pictures because I clearly told the girl on the phone "Please don't burn my pizza and please add extra toppings because my last visit I hardly had any toppings". She charge me $2.00 for extra topping and this does not look extra to me. I went inside and opened up the box to find burnt pizza and no extra toppings. I was so upset because I told her please make sure not to burn it, she yes me. Before my last two visits, I was always satisfied with the pizzas. I don't recommend this place. Farmington in general does not have decent restaurants. All of the Pizza places in town are awful and I gave Pizza 9 a chance tonight and my opinion remains unchanged. I got a deep dish and some thoughts: GREASY. No need to goat the pizza pan with a gallon of oil. The crust was a grease sponge. Sauce. What sauce? The cheese is gooey and bubbly, and the toppings were generous without overdoing it. Daniel, who was manning the register, was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, even though he had worked a full shift plus! (Rare to find someone at the register who has worked more than a month or two at it). The pizza "parlor" was roomy, comfy and efficient. With self serve tableware, napkins, Parmesan and pepper flakes dispensed from a clean dispenser. I was staying in the hotel next door and wanted something to eat for dinner. The thought of pizza really just hit the spot for me, so I walked next door to Pizza 9 and ordered a medium Fire Eater specialty pizza. It took them about twenty minutes to make the pizza. There was a small gathering of folks for some sort of charity group or something going on in the separate room that they have available, but they were not bothersome nor interrupting of my meal. The pizza came out and it was wonderful. I was only able to eat half of it, and they were happy to provide me with a box for the rest to take back to the hotel. I finished the rest of it the next day for lunch, and it was almost as good. The crust doesn't quite hold up after twelve hours cold, which is why I knocked a point off. read more

Pizza 9 is not the same old, same old. The way the pizza is constructed is different from most pizza restaurants. Rather than placing the cheese on the tomato sauce coated dough and then adding the toppings Pizza 9 places the toppings first and then the cheese. When baked the melted cheese binds the toppings in place and also provides a different mouth feel than a more conventional construction, which I like. My favorite pizza is the Quatro Stagioni (four meat). Pizza 9 also prepares a quite good Calzone. The most appealing aspect of the restaurant is that, from Monday through Thursday, 1:00 to 4:00 pm, pizza's are half price! (pizza only). read more

Been wanting to try this place out for a few months. Heard some good things about this place from people I work with. I got the Lobo pizza (pepperoni, sausage, and green chile) with 10 wings. Came out to $23 something. Pizza was really good. Nice and crunchy crust. Green chile had a nice kick. Nice big pieces of sausage. Only let down was the wings. Just one flavor (Buffalo). Not much sauce on them. I think they might be the frozen wings that already has a bit of sauce on them that you can buy at the grocery store. I wish they would sauce them when they give them to you. I do have some franks hot sauce, so I might just throw some of that on them. read more

Pizza 9's pizza flavor is excellent. But they are very skimpy on the toppings including cheese. We have ordered 5 times. There are always bare spots on our pizza and toppings are very scarce for the price you pay compared to other pizza establishments. Time before last we ordered they never delivered. Both stars are for the service - and the incredible ease of ordering online. If you're in it for convenience, then use the website and order away. The online ordering is phenomenal! Other pizza establishments could learn from it. And the in-store service was fine and friendly. Admittedly we're used to New York, Chicago, and Beach style pizzas that are mouth-meltingly savory and cheesy. The two pies we ordered (thin crust) were dry, slightly skimpy, with toppings that were practically minced - lacking good, substantial chunks of something you could sink your teeth into. The flavor was so lackluster that you felt you could have picked up a better one from the freezer section of the grocery store. In fact, I'm quoting my companions who said: "They've perfected the art of the microwave pizza." I figure there could be regional differences in tastes / styles that I'm not aware of, and they do have a great online presence, so for other out-of-towners, just be aware Pizza 9 is more on the level of one of the fast-food chain pizzas. And one tip - if you really are committed to ordering here, add the green chiles to your pizza toppings. Doing that came close redeeming the whole meal! read more

Waited 2 hours for a pizza after we were told it would be a 20-40 minute wait. We paid over the phone too. We called them after the first hour asking where our pizza was and was told the driver had left 15 minutes ago and would be there any minute. After another hour we called them a second time asking where the pizza was and they said they called us and no one answered and the driver left a long time ago. We waited 2 hours outside and there was no phone call or deliverer. Not even when we checked our phones history did we find a phone call so they definitely lied. The person said over the phone they "refunded our order" but our bank said they hadn't. After reading through some of the reviews this pizza place was suppose to refund a $150 to a previous customer and never did! Delicious pizza!! Passing through town at the end of a two week road trip and this place was close by our hotel so we chose to order for pickup. We got a large custom pizza and it was amazing. Crust was soft through the body but firm at the handle, not drenched in red sauce, there was the littlest crunch to the beginning of every bite that was followed by chewy, cheesy and meaty goodness. I would have given Pizza 9 five stars but since they have been only opened for two days and they completely messed up our order, they'll get four stars. They still need to iron out their opening jitters. But, I do have to say that it's the best tasting pizza in the four corners right now. Their crust is superb and the marinara / pizza sauce is excellent. The cheesy garlic bread is exquisite and those hot wings are better than finger licking good. They are located in the old Kettle restaurant and they are a New Mexico chain of restaurants. The staff were attentive and friendly, consistently checked up on us and made sure that we had an excellent dining experience. I'm sure that when they are firing on all cylinders that they'll be the standard of how pizza should be done. So quit reading this and go to Pizza 9! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Coming from Phoenix my expectations were pretty low and I was still disappointed. This pizza is tasteless, greasy garbage. The wings were slimy and had next to zero sauce. I recommend Red Brick Pizza if you absolutely have to have pizza in Farmington. read more

The deep dish pizza is delish. The wings are pretty good as well although I kind of wish they had a crispier texture to the outside. The salad was very fresh and the ranch was yummy. They have an everyday special of buy one large and get the other for 9.99, as well as a large pizza and wings special. They had great customer service, but I they seemed a little disorganized. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because it feels too humid inside the restaurant. Maybe it's just me because I'm used to the dry desert air, but it bothers me. After a 7 hour drive with a load of teenagers we stumble upon Pizza 9 and praise God we did!! The cashier at the counter was SUPER NICE and explained all the special.
