Unique concept! You have to book ahead for your 90 minute slot. It's one big table where you sit with strangers (but it's big enough that other groups don't talk to each other) and the food is brought out as it's made, offered to each person. You can take as much pizza and pasta as you want during the time. Most of the pizzas were very good! They were all unique, but some were a bit salty - and beware of the strong blue cheese! The pastas weren't really that great...pretty basic. For $25, it's worth it for the unique experience, but I probably wouldn't go back. Pizza Authentico is the place you come to when you are craving fresh pizza and hot pasta. At a standard $20 all you can eat it is encouraged to bring an appetite with you. Pull up a chair at the communal table as you walk in and wait for the delicious food to be served to you. The decor is authentic, well placed and stylish and this restaurant is not your typical all you can eat. This place caters to all people eating out. For those who are in a group there is plenty of space, those flying solo will be looked after and feel part of the group. This would also be a perfect little spot for those first couple of dates or to revisit date night with your partner. You will have your own oil, cheese and chilli at your disposal and the alternating pizza and pasta dishes just keep coming as long as your token is turned to green. If you are done flip it to red. Not sure if you have finished? Place it middle side up and take a break while you digest and make room for more deliciousness. On our visit we managed to try 6 different pizzas and countless pastas - the pesto, spicy tomato and creamy mushroom were standouts. We loved the tomato and basil pizza as well as the potato and zucchini. Drinks wise the $6 happy hour for prosecco, beer and vino and $10 spritz are great value as well. If you have a larger group of people book a spot at the smaller group tables upstairs - with its own bar section and food delivered to your table this is an awesome area of the restaurant. Pizza Authentico is in a great spot being only a 5 minute walk from Museum Station. If you are driving nabbing a park on the street can be tricky, however, there is a Wilson car park on Goulburn street that will only cost you $10 after 5pm! Come for the all you can eat any night of the week and if you can fit in dessert go for the Nutella pizza (grab takeaway for breakfast if you have to)! A steady stream of bites are presented to you, over 90 minutes, until you are quite literally... full! 11 slices of pizza, 5 serves of pasta and 4 beers, and Danny P had to tap out! After waddling back to Central, then sinking into the seat like a fat heaving behemoth - occupying no less than 2 spots - I realised I'd probably eaten a lil more than I shoulda... Just a lil. I've got introduced to this place at a Yelp CMYE, December last year. And now introducing friends to this who now love it as well because it truly is great value for money!! Where else can you find, all you can eat pizza and pasta for $20 thats within steps from Museum Station and the of good quality food too. Not to mention that the 90 minutes time limit didn't seem to be strictly enforced (yes even on a Friday night.. We stayed around for at least 2 hours). Although it looks as if the money is made from drinks ( a couple of drinks for 2 hours, and you could be up for $40 or $50 per person) But For the "early birds", if you get in around 6pm for dinner - make it $25 and you get beer or wine too (not sure if the drink also gets refilled too though). Yet to try this but will do this at a later date. The service was also great as water and beers/wines kept on flowing through the evening. It did get a bit slower as more people arrived the first time I went with the yelp Sydney crew but it seems to have improved a lot the second time round as the communal table was 90% full. If you don't mind a communal seating, and just love pizza and pasta I highly recommend checking out this place. read more

Why have I not know about this place?! Been in Sydney for nearly 2 years and I visit for the first time last night! The concept is easy, they bring out different types of pizza and pasta to you and you eat as much as you want and only put it on pause or stop when you have had your fill! So much fun! And a good variety of pizza form cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, parmigiana. sausage and so forth. Pasta includes pesto linguine, 4 cheese gnocchi, spaghetti etc etc. Food was delicious and so were the Aperol spritz! Great place for dinner catch ups or lunch! read more

Located just off Oxford Street near Museum Station, this lovely 2 story restaurant is a hidden gem. They offer a very good value all you can eat offer for $20. This allows you 90 minutes of an unlimited selection of pizzas and pastas. They are of very good quality and the menu will rotate depending on the night you go on so you may have to visit a few times to try their whole menu! It is like Churrasco style of dining where you have the green/red button in front of you and you have green for good to go for food and red for no more please! The service is quite attentive and extremely friendly. They serve you individual slices from whole pizzas they bring out as well as dishing out individual portions of pasta from the big bowls they have. The highlights were the Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi which were like little pillows of potato goodness covered in a delicious flavoursome cheese sauce, Spinache e Ricotta Pizza had a good ratio of spinach and ricotta and was very tasty, Margherita Pizza was a simple affair of tomatoes and cheese but oh so yummy on their thin crust base, and Tiramisu ($8) is worth paying extra for as it was one of the nicest ones I have had in a long time and probably the highlight which was amazing considering it is a pizza and pasta restaurant. The Basil & Pine Nut Pesto Linguine was hit and miss. One night it lacked the punch of a regular pesto and slightly oily whereas the other other night it was flavoursome and on point. The Quattro Stagioni Pizza was also a bit soggy as there were too many ingredients on it. Guess the simpler the better applies here. Overall it would be a great night out for family and friends and very well priced for the city. Definitely wear your stretchy pants as you'll need them if you wish to try the enticing range they have. It is a lovely spot and wouldn't hesitate to dine here again. read more

This was a great place for takeout, as we were staying at the Hotel Stellar around the corner. We had been traveling awhile and were ready to just have a couple nights in. Our room had a kitchen so first night we just picked up a pizza, the crust was very good but I felt the topping were a bit sparse. The next night we got pasta to go and had made a salad from the nearby market, along with a bottle of Pepperwood Shiraz from the Bottle O. The pasta was plenty to share and reasonably priced. I may have been tempted to eat at the restaurant but they do a shared table, one price inclusive dinner that just didn't appeal to us. Thanks for great take-away though! read more

This might be the best thing I've ever done to my body! I came across this place based on its great reviews on here and absolutely LOVE it. As described in the other reviews you sit around one large communal table or there is room for group booking upstairs (5+ people). You get a little coin in the colours of the Italian flag - green on the top, white in the middle and red on the bottom - and use this as a "traffic light" for give me more food, I'm taking a break or I really can't eat anymore.At first I was impatient between servings (you always get one slice of a pizza or two spoonful of pasta) but quickly realised that the breaks are much appreciated after the initial hunger is gone. Staff is super friendly and goes around topping up your water and feeding you with more delicious things. $20 really isn't much for all you can eat and the pizzas and pastas taste amazing and come in all different flavours. Also most of the food was vegetarian which made my heart jump. This place made me and my belly very happy and we rolled out the door knowing we will be back for more soon! read more

I'm handing out 5 stars here because where else can you pay $29/head for a group of 20 on a Saturday night for all you can eat sides, pizza and pasta on your own large communal table?! Service was friendly with a walk-up bar right next to our table upstairs with a good selection of Italian wines, beers and cocktails. I booked about a month in advance and lucky I did because this place was packed! Pizza was amazing as were the risotto balls and pastas (bowtie dish in particular). Yes the main value of this restaurant is that it is super cheap for what you get indeed... The wine bottles are fairly price as well - so quite ideal for large group of friends. The sitting is not the most comfortable (low stools) but the vibe of a communal table is nice when you are with 6-7 or more friends. Service is nice too-you can ask to try the wine before you decide on a bottle ! Get prepared for a carb load once in a while it is a fun evening to spend ! read more

Genius concept, well executed! We walked right in without a reservation and without knowing how this place worked and loved it! My daughter is vegetarian and the server made certain that she had plenty to choose from. The slices are freshly made, thin-crust, and varied. The pasta - which came out infrequently - was flavorful, as well. We paced ourselves and 90 minutes was plenty of time for a comfortable meal. Jonny kept dishing us up thin-crust-minimal-topping-pizzas interspersed with mouth-watering-perfect-pastas at a steady pace until I could take no more pleasure. When we thought we were tapped out the waiter sold us on the tiramisu, to which we are now grateful for. Like a slice of heaven, it was light fluffy and delicious. Some how we managed to fit it in. OK pizza but terrible service. I sat for an hour and a half and ended up eating three pieces of pizza and a small bowl of pasta. Several times they just walked past me and served other patrons and when they did stop by as often as not they offered me food I had already told them (because they asked) that didn't meet my dietary restrictions. Who can complain about $20 all you can eat pizza that is served fresh every 5 minutes or so? Very friendly service and if we had not had so many of the inexpensive drinks, it was a very reasonable meal. My wife had the pizza and pasta and told me that she liked the pizza. As a native New Yorker she is pretty particular about pizza. I ordered a gluten-free pizza which was great. I only wish I could have one slice of 8 pizzas instead of 8 slices of one pizza. read more

Meal was advertised as all you can eat pizza & pasta however serves are rationed to one slice at a time and you have no choice for what you receive. There are often times when you are waiting 10+ minutes for your next slice or serving of pasta. Limited to a 90 minutes session however you may only get 3-4 slices so hardly all you can eat.
