People who give this place four stars must be reviewing the price more than anything else. Yeah, it's really cheap. And the decor is nice, and they have beer. It's a very small place in a very small strip mall. Inside is much nicer than outside. It seems to be a nice place to watch a game, except it is far to small to have a sports bar atmosphere. But the food was mediocre at best. I had a caesar sandwich. It was overcooked and greasy, and the chicken meat was grisly. It was OK for the price, but nowhere near a 4-star restaurant. Great Pizza for a Great Price Pizza Boy is our favorite delivery spot. We were so excited when we moved back into their range. Our favorite is the pepperoni and pineapple. This is one of the only pizza places I have ever found that puts enough cheese on without an up-charge. The chicken salad is quite tasty. Pizza is great! Crust is super good. Crunchy & crispy on the outside. Soft & fluffy on the inside. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Fair amount of toppings. But best of all: when you ask for a particular topping on only half the pizza, they are VERY CAREFUL to put that topping on only half the pizza. The owners are very nice, and make sure you are always happy with your order. This place is about 15 minutes from our house. There are many closer pizza places. TVs along one wall to play your favorite pro sports team. We ordered a meat supreme and a bbq chicken pizza. Both had perfectly cooked dough, not too soft and not too hard. The meats were actually cooked and not just warmed up on top of the pizza. The customer service wasn't what I would expect from a small business but it was certainly not the worst. Simply put the cashier and server were young and still learning. Overall a great experience with a fun atmosphere. On Sunday, January 19th, my girlfriend and I and four friends arrived to dine on some great food. None of us had ever been here before, so we didn't know what to expect. We took some time to go over the menu and figure out what we wanted to order. I ordered the chicken ranch bacon melt sandwich. It. Was. Delicious! I modified mine without mustard. It was perfect! The bread roll was rustic and fresh. I also ordered a pitcher of orange soda. So good! One friend also ordered the sandwich, but without tomatoes. She loved it. The others shared a large, one topping pizza pie. It was delicious. They said it was really hot at first. We also shared a cinnamon pizza-like dessert. I thought it was tasty and sweet, but definitely piping hot at first. But, after it had cooled off, the crust was a bit tough. I still ate another piece but the others weren't so impressed. Overall, the place is small but very clean. Large flatscreen television to watch the games. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, being in a stripmall and all. But don't be fooled. We got Caesar salads, cheese and pepperoni pizza, mozzarella sticks, and potato wedges. The mozzarella sticks weren't greasy at all, which was pleasant. Went and checked this spot out cause I was growing tired of Pepz and how expensive it can be to eat there. I had heard some good things about this place so popped in on a Sunday night to enjoy some pizza and a pitcher of brew. The location here is a smaller location but you still have room if you had a bigger party that you wanted to come here with. I was eyeing some of the specials and they offer some great deals on pizza and beers. Pitcher of brew was only $10.00 which is not bad at all. We grabbed a spinach and meatball pizza. It was good, my girl really enjoyed it more than I did. I like my dough on the more crispy side and this was soft and doughy kind of pizza. it leaves you with that kind of chewy crust, but it was not on the greasy side which is awesome. If you are a fan of that style then you have to hit this place up. Maybe next time I will ask for it a little more well done. Toppings were good, I liked the meatball and spinach combo. When I come back if I am solo I am going to get my go to of pepperoni and jalapeno. Service here was good, I mean you order and sit down and your pizza comes out right? Not much to mess up here. The game section here could use some love, although they dont have much room for many games. As much as I enjoy this establishment and their food, they really need to hire more drivers for delivery. I live less than 1 mile away, and I had to wait for my wings for 45 minutes when I was told it would only take 15-20. When my wings arrived, the driver told me he had 8 other orders he was delivering at the same time. When I tried to call to check on my order, whoever answers hung up on me THREE times. Pizza Boy has excellent pizza! My family and I stop here and buy pizza instead of eating inside the Disneyland Resort. Their pizza is thin in style and has the most wonderful buttery crust. Wednesday's are special and they have slices at $.75 ea. Normally $1.59. They are about half the size of a Costco slice, so it's a good deal on Wednesday to come here. They have other pizzas available at various price points, but honestly I have only come in here to get a couple of slices. It isn't high end gourmet, but its not little caesars or dominos either... Its worth a try and it is sating, but its not worth making a special trip. For the price its a decent deal. However if you are after the best pie of your life, it wont be found here. Big disappointment! I've been going to Pizza Boys sister restaurant, Ho Toy's (Chinese take-out) for many years and have never been disappointed as the food is always top notch! Been getting' Pizza Boy fliers for their restaurant up the street for several years so after reading a couple of god Yelp's I went for it. Unfortunately the Yelps did not steer me right tonight. Didn't feel like going out so I spun the delivery roulette wheel and Pizza Boy came up. I ordered 10 pc hot wings, antipasto salad and a medium Hawaiian with jalapenos. The order arrived quickly and the delivery boy was very courteous. I first opened the pizza box and the pizza looked ok. A little skimpy on the toppings and sauce, but things went downhill fast after that. I then opened the wings and they looked half cooked with some sauce on them yuck! Next I opened the salad and was again disappointed, lettuce, couple of olives, mushrooms slices and 5 half pcs of salami with a little cheese. No dipping sauce! I had to doctor up the meal. I threw the wings on the grill to crisp them up and added my own chicken wing hot sauce. I then added some mozzarella and fixings to the salad. I salvaged the meal. Bottom line service 4 stars food 1 star overall 1 star because I had to do extra work to make things right. read more
