I live for Pizza. (So much so that I'm not going to correct the capitalization of the word "Pizza" in that sentence...it's that important.) My wife, teenage son, and I were spending a full day at the parks and wanted a good dinner...Reservations weren't available anywhere. (Hot tip - if you're visiting Disney, reserve dining as far in advance as possible so you won't be worried.) But we managed to get right in as they opened a dining area on the second floor to accommodate walk-ins. Hurrah! (At first they wanted to seat us on the balcony, but there was no shade from the sun there...they managed to reseat us right away inside...again, hurrah!) The menu is straight out of Italy...including a "Spritz Menu" - I initially ordered an Apérol Spritz so I could fully remember what it was like wandering the cities of Italy in the late afternoon during the pre-dinner Aperitif hour...but then I noticed they also had a flight of "cellos" on the menu - Our server managed to switch my drink order to that and pretty soon my wife and I were sipping orange cello, limoncello (of course) and pistachio-cello! Again, again, hurrah! Were we actually somehow back in Italy? For food, we shared the Side Della Casa Salad, which was beautiful and enough for the three of us to have some before the star of the show arrived. For us, the star of the show was the pizza - We got a large, half New York and half Genovese. (They can do half and half on pizzas as long as the sauce on both halves is the same.) This pizza was truly delicious, very Naples-authentic (though we could eat it with our hands, unlike in Naples, where it's a fork and knife situation) As a lover of pizza, in general, and as someone who truly appreciates authentic and good pizza, a million miles over the chain pizza restaurants, I was in pizza heaven eating slices from this pie. If you're in Downtown Disney and have a hankering for excellent and authentic food from Italy, try your luck getting a table here. We're glad we did. read more

The host staff are clueless and they couldn't be bothered to seat us. I asked if we could sit at a particular table and one of the hosts said, go ahead. They did not take us to the table, they did not bring us menus, and no server came over to assist. After about 10 minutes of disregard, I went back to the host and asker her if anyone was assigned to our table. She said she 'wasn't sure' but she would look to see who was on the floor. After another 10 minutes of waiting, we saw a few seats opened up at the bar, so we grabbed them. Fortunately for us, our bartender, Bobby tried to make up for the lost time and failed experience so far. He made some Ice-cold martinis, and some good food recommendations. We ordered the Carnivoro Pizza (Fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, pepperoni, capicola, Genoa salami, spicy sausage). This was a solid pizza, and we left a little less dissatisfied. We usually like to come here at least once for a meal when we are in Disney. The food here is solid, don't get me wrong. It's just also nothing super extravagant or extraordinary. They have some well made Italian classics that are decent. Just coming from an Italian family I have a higher expectation. Pizzas here are always very delicious, and portion sizes are generous. My group and I were excited to try this restaurant, but, I left a little underwhelmed. It seems like if this place was running smoothly, it could be a very good place to stop for dinner, but maybe we got there on an off night. Having a reservation, the process to get to our table took about 20 minutes between checking in with hostesses being asked to wait and then eventually getting to our table. Once we were up there, it took 30 Ish minutes to actually get our order placed after ordering a round of drinks. I got the hot honey sopresatta pizza which seems like it could've been a little undercooked. Had it been cooked all the way through the pizza would've been delicious and the flavors were very nice. Overall, I feel like if I gave this place another shot it might be better on a less busy day or time but Overall this particular experience lacked a little something. read more

I made reservations a head of time. We arrived 15 mins early for our reservation. I told the hostess I had reservations, she asked for my name and number. I thought it was weird, but I just gave her what she had asked and she told us to wait. We waited for patiently for 30 mins. Watching everyone ahead of us get seated. Then when people arrived after us, get seated also, that is when I went to ask. She did not apologize or anything. She asked if it was a table for 4, I said no. She said I will seat you now. All that time we were standing there in sight of the hostess stand, no one asked us anything. They did not reassure us they were working on a table for us or acknowledge we were standing there waiting. This was really bad customer service on their part. I had a email confirmation for my reservation and in the middle our dinner I received an email notification that my reservation was canceled. The hostess canceled it. Naples is located in Downtown Disney and it has been our choice for family birthday parties for a few years. On our Disneyland days, sometimes we want something different than what is offered in the parks so we go to Naples. There is something for every one in our party, even with the pickiest of eaters. Fried calamari is a must here. I love their pepperoni pizza because the pepperoni used were my favorite kind- thin cut, cooked to a crisp. The ambiance is nice. I had a very nice meal here after a long Saturday at Mouseland. My party of 7 came in for dinner and there was (predictably) a wait to get in. We had no reservations so I was impressed that it was only 30 minutes and not 2 hours - if you know Downtown Disney, it's quite packed, so the waits can be extended. When we finally were seated, the food and drinks both came quite fast. The younger members of the party had spaghetti and meatballs, which were pretty standard. The adults had salad and pizza. The salads, two house salads to be precise, were huge. These salads are easily enough for 4, but we had 2 for 4 people. So at least we all got plenty of greens. The pizzas were definitely the star of the show. I wouldn't say they are the best pizzas I've ever had, but they are very solid. Much better than average with a nice chewy crust (a bit thick), generous toppings, and a great charred flavor. The pizzas were so good that the younger ones basically gave up on spaghetti and meatballs and just ate pizza. Many of the adults had cocktails and those were also well made and tasty. There are a lot of options in Downtown Disney, and since it's a captive audience of many tired parents who have been walking around in the heat being annoyed by kids all day I wasn't expecting much. But this place really surprised me with the quality of the pizzas and drinks and reasonable wait. I will say, it isn't cheap - this was several hundred dollars. But given the location and quality (and obviously alcohol contributed) it was worth it. read more

Was extremely thrilled to try out a Downtown Disney restaurant but sadly left a bit unsatisfied. We started off with the Caesar salad which was just okay... the dressing was too mild and it needed more cheese in our opinion. We also ordered the pull apart Garlic Bread and had to send it back because the center of the bread was mushy & soggy... almost seemed undercooked. A highlight was the Margarita pizza... it was delicious and one of the best I've had. I personally didn't try the Chicken Parmesan but my party raved about how delicious it was. The Hot Honey pizza had an interesting mix of flavors and seemed rather undercooked but was still enjoyable. The main issue was the Spicy Penne with shrimp, it said it would be served al dente but this was nowhere near al dente... it was closer to being raw pasta... extremely hard and chewy, to the point it got stuck in my teeth. Think of the texture of laffy taffy... me personally I wouldn't want my pasta like this. We sent it back once and asked it to be cooked more and they brought it back and it was exactly the same. We sent it back once more and it once again came back the same way. I didn't care for the pasta and honestly it was very frustrating, highly regret ever ordering it. Our waitress Maria was extremely kind and patient with us despite all the mishaps and having to send things back. I don't think I'd return honestly but I guess I'm glad we gave it a shot. read more

Stopped by Naples at Downtown Disney for a little Restaurant Day outing. We settled in at the bar and decided to make a proper meal of it. Vodka Extra Dirty Martini -- 8/10 A really solid dirty martini -- clean and well-made. Extra dirty, just the way it should be. Caesar Salad -- 7/10 You can taste the anchovies, which bring a nice salty depth. It was well dressed, though leaning a little heavy on the dressing -- a touch of citrus could have balanced it out nicely. Overall, for a classic, original-style Caesar, it was good. Calamari -- 8/10 Super, super good. Light batter -- not heavy at all -- with a great balance of salt and pepper flavor. One of the highlights of the meal. Shrimp Penne alla Vodka -- 8/10 Really delicious. The sauce was rich and flavorful with the tomato, cream, and Calabrian chili peppers coming together well. The one note is that a little more spice would have taken it to the next level, but it was a solid, satisfying pasta overall. Overall Impression: Naples delivers a solid bar dining experience at Downtown Disney. The calamari and pasta are the standouts, the Caesar is a classic done well with minor room for improvement, and the dirty martini is a strong pour. Worth a stop. Service was awesome! The fried alla Parmigiana eggplant was unbreaded, thin sliced eggplant lightly fried. With a minimal amount of sauce and cheese layers. Not bad, but not memorable either. I also had an Old Fashioned which to me was quite bitter considering they have much sweeter options. The service was great. Like many restaurants, this is one ive passed by a lot at Downtown Disney. On a beautiful warm afternoon on Easter Sunday, my partner and I with our friends, decided to have lunch there. The seating outside was really nice and comfortable and the help made sure to put us at the right table to keep us out of the sun for the time. We decided it would be a brilliant idea to share the family meal. We went with the Family Style Della Casa salad, with mixed greens, red onion, tomato, parmesan, oregano, pepperoncini dressed in an italian vinaigrette. The chicken penne pasta was great with chicken, broccoli, chili flakes, and garlic cream sauce. The large pepperoni pizza was really good with small spring pepperoni and thin crust. I added oregano to my slices to make things better but it was great no matter i had added it or not. My partner had a spritzer and said it was okay. She felt like the alcohol wasnt there but the mix of the spritzer can take that away when really mixed well. Cesar looked after us well and i was happy with the overall work. Biggest impression was that the food came out snappy, and not by request. We were off and running so thats always a great thing for a table of four. Definitely come enjoy this place on a nice day. Made a reservation for a 5:00 dinner. It was a little confusing when we got there because there was a long line of people waiting. We asked the hostess who checked our reservation and told us we will get a text when our table is ready. We got a text about 20 mins later. Our server ( Elizabeth or Liz I think) was awesome and helpful. We are inside. I had the salmon, which I loved the salmon. Potatoes and tomatoes included were just okay. My nephew had the spaghetti with meatballs. He liked the sauce and enjoyed it but not something amazing. We sat outside, which was great because Disney had fireworks at the time and we were able to see them. But the waiter was all over the place though. Had been here before, but it had been a while. There was a 35 minute wait but we got taken in faster than expected. It was a warm day so was craving something fresh to start. Ordered the caprese salad. It did its job. Some minor complaints: it was supposed to come with sea salt but either they missed the plate completely or were very frugal with it, but it was missing some. No problem table salt to the rescue. Also, I would've appreciated a bit more basil to balance the tomatoes and mozzarella. Some pros: I appreciate the variety of tomatoes in it. It had some heirloom, cherry, grape, and Roma tomatoes. Each had a distinct flavor so it made the dish not too mundane. The star of the show was the prosciutto and melon pizza. Such a well balanced pizza, and the dough is so light I did not feel heavy afterwards. The pepperoni pizza had the pepperoni that cups when it's cooked. The slight char and crisp was very satisfying. The sauce was very subtle tasting so it did not overpower the rest of the dish. The penne allá vodka was also very light for a pasta dish. Normally I am not a fan of pasta, and I figured it's because many pasta places use inferior pasta that makes me feel bloated and gross after eating it. This pasta had a nice chew but didn't just sit in your stomach for hours afterwards. The restaurant itself was a good mixture of calm and chaos. It was busy and staff was coming and going, but never did we feel a need to rush our meal. Also the mosaic over the pizza ovens was gorgeous. The music was a great mix and not too loud where it drowned out conversations being had. The icing on the cake was the top notch service by our server Xochilt. She was very attentive and constantly came around with refills and to just check in on us. She was also very patient with my youngest daughter who is very shy, but made an effort to order for herself. For starters, we had the garlic pull apart bread with marina dipping sauce and some drinks to wash it down. The shrimp penne à la vodka pasta was delicious & filling. I literally finished my plate. Hubby thought the linguini & clams was dry and a bit bland for his taste; hence he didn't finish his meal. Perhaps some sprinkling of Parmesan cheese would help but we couldn't find our waiter so hubby just went with it. Can't say much for our waiter since he didn't really check up on us. Started off with an Italian margarita (not pictured) sorry! But was really good! Had a Smokey sour flavor (my fave) For food we got the chicken cesar salad, calamari, and the pork chop plate. I will admit I gave this place 4 stars because of the salad! don't get me wrong, it was good but for $26 I expected more? Like more flavor, some Parmesan cheese, etc. it was ok. The calamari tho. chefs kiss. My favorite! Very crispy and the spicy marinara it comes with is an amazing touch. The pork chop was also really good, very juicy and tender. Not dry at all. The sweet potato mash was ok... it is on the sweeter kinda cinnamy side so if you're not a fan of mixing sweet and savory, maybe ask for a substitute. The Brussel sprouts were also delicious! Happy to say they have fixed the hostess issue. They are now efficient and courteous!! Food and table service continues to be excellent! Clean, spacious and super kid friendly. Pizza and pasta are amazing! Fresh and sooooo Neapolitan yummy! Kids still love playing with the dough before dinner and go watch the masters at work... never gets old. Always use your annual passes to get a discount and get downtown Disney parking validation by the elevator. If they are busy enough, they open the upstairs patio, it's always a treat to be able to sit by the open patio. Affogato is perfect after dinner treat. Family meals are a great deal for a hungry family of 4 or more. This time I notice that the Managers were all running around helping the servers non stop. We had a great experience at Naples Ristorante e Bar in Downtown Disney! The fried calamari was cooked and breaded perfectly -- crispy on the outside and tender inside. It could have used just a touch more salt, but overall it was very well prepared. The pizza was exactly what we were in the mood for. The crust wasn't floppy at all, and the San Marzano tomato flavor really stood out -- fresh, balanced, and delicious. Our server, Eric, was 5-star all the way. Made a reservation weeks in advance for 2 at 7:30PM on a Friday night. We checked in around 7:20PM and was told by the hostess that we'd receive a text once the table was ready. The process for checking in was unorganized and chaotic, as there were lines of people waiting to walk in and a random make shift line for those with reservations which wasn't clear at all. There was also only one hostess who would go back and forth between customers which was very inefficient and confusing. 7:35PM came and there was no text so we checked in with the hostess, again having to stand in line. She told us our table was not ready and we confirmed our phone number to ensure we didn't miss a text. 8:00PM comes and we still haven't received a text so we make our way back in line for the third time to ask the hostess. When we get there, she asks if we're late bc it shows in their system we no showed. We're hungry and pissed at this point, mind you this was the SAME Hostess who we asked to confirm our phone number. We told her we have been waiting for over half an hour which is ridiculous considering the stand by list was a 45 min wait. Upon hearing our displeasure, suddenly our table appeared to be ready. Very disappointed in this experience and how the staff handled it. The food was not bad but also nothing to write home about. It was a very disappointing experience. I ordered the Pacific Snapper Milanese that came with the salad. They overcooked the snapper and served a bland salad. When I asked the waiter if it's supposed to come with a sauce, he said "no, that was another dish we used to serve". Never asked why and if there's anything wrong with the dish. My wife's shrimp penne pasta was great. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. $94 for our meal with 2 drinks (tip not included) is definitely not worth it. This ruined the lunch I planned for me and my wife's 20th wedding anniversary. I'm going to have to make it up to her. read more

The wait wasn't bad, we had a group of 4. We were seated at the 2nd floor. And it was quite hectic! We weren't entirely sure what to get, so we split a pie. Our other friend got a vegan pizza due to allergies and she said it tastes really good. My Malibu breeze definitely did not have alcohol it in, our friends drink tasted like straight alcohol lol. They had a soda flight that we tried as well. This place wasn't bad, took a while for us to get service after being seated, like a long while.. probably won't try it again, I wasn't "wow'd" by anything here, other than the bill! read more

We came after a trip with the fam to Disneyland for the day. Nice place to unwind and relax after a long day. Very relaxing environment and quick to seat us and serve. Their old fashion and friend mozzarella were a good combo at the end of a long day. read more
