Everything was great. The pizza sauce has a really nice savory flavor, and they don't skimp on the cheese. There's that perfect layer where the cheese is just on the edge of being burnt but not quite, slightly crispy and full of flavor. The crust is thin and a bit flimsy, which I actually enjoyed. The garlic cheese bread was solid too, and the ranch deserves a mention. It's actually really good and on par with Wingstop ranch. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. As always I dug into YELP, and found this highly appraised pizza joint to be right along our route. We stopped in and ordered a small deluxe and a 10 piece wings for sharing. The location is small but quaint with three tables that sit 2-3 people each.The service is friendly and the parking is ample. Now for the food...our pizza was AMAZING !!! The crust had a slight crispness and a great flavor. The topping were piled high. The veggies still had a little crispness and seemed fresh. The onion was melted just right. The cheese, oooh the cheese was outstanding. It was not only stringy as pulled it apart it remained tasty and stringy after the pizza seemed to have cooled. What's a great pizza without a great sauce? Yes, the sauce was great, hearty in flavor yet not over poured. What about the wings ??? Phenomenal...I would truly consider myself a wing aficionado as I have ordered and tasted wings from almost everywhere that I have been and they are offered. These wings deserve to be in a pub or sports bar where they would be devoured alongside a cold beer. They are simply amazing. They are flavored well without a heavy sauce. There seems to be a slight breading, but very slight. They have a slight crispness to them on the outside as you bite into them. Once inside, the meat is extremely tender and tasty. So many places make up for a dry wing with lots of sauce. Or bring you a wing that is baked and dry or just bring you an undercooked wing. These wings are just fantastic. Great job Lui's.
