I think I would actually give them a 3.5 if I could. We are at an AirBnB for the week, and the previous guests suggested that Pizza Crossing was the best place to get some za. We were on our way back to the house and picked up some za for lunch along with one of their side salads. We got the All The Way pizza minus the banana peppers. We ordered for curbside pickup (they also offer contactless delivery) due to COVID. They had great customer service, and the pizza was ready in 12 minutes! They brought it right out to our car when we called to say we were there, mask properly in place (over mouth & nose), and put it in the back of the car with what sounded like a smile. ") We had about a 15 minute drive back home, and the temp outside was 20 degrees, so we had to pop it in the oven to warm it up (no fault of theirs). While waiting we tucked into the side salad, which came in a very small container, but once opened produced a VERY generous iceberg salad for 2 people. Tomatoes were a bit mushy, but the lettuce and mozzarella cheese were great along with the Italian dressing on the side. The pizza had a very thin crust which I like, and the toppings were edge to edge. Everything was cooked well. And it was a pretty good pizza. However, I'm pretty picky, and I hail from Chicago, where pizza is an art. When we stay next time in Hocking Hills, and we're craving a pizza, we will order from them again. This place is soooo good. We came to the area to stay in a cute Airbnb and get out of town, and we were having trouble picking a local pizza place based on reviews. We are sooo happy we decided on Pizza Crossing. We are weirdly obsessed with this place now and got it every night we were here. What a great place! We were hiking Hocking Hills and had a hankering for pizza after a full day of activity. Most pizza places in this area we found to be just take out. Luckily we happened upon Pizza Crossing. An unassuming place on the outside, belied the deliciousness on the inside. Wow! So many choices, we chose "All the Way". It was a beautiful delight, piled high with meats, a spicy sauce, rings of onions. We chose a large and still had leftovers after four hungry hikers stuffed themselves. Every time I come home from out of state this is my first stop. Best pizza around. I went to get a salad yesterday, and I noticed a bearded man making pizza and not wearing a hairnet over it, and to be honest, it grossed me out. I then noticed that some of them had gloves on and some of them didn't. One that didn't, took the back of his hand and wiped his nose and then continued making a pizza. That too, completely grossed me out. I did tell the manager, or whoever it was, about it, and that a customer shouldn't see that even if it does happen. July 7, 2017 Came back here for dinner this time. I remain underwhelmed by the entire experience. Seat yourself, fill up your own drink/refills, ambiance, etc. The pizza was good, again not great. Certainly cannot agree with the label, the best pizza period. Thin crust pizza is the house option. However, there are a variety of pizza options that everyone in your party should be able to suit themselves. July 5, 2017 Only had a late night snack of breadsticks and wings. Really don't want to judge the entire book by such a small chapter. But RE: what we ordered, it was just ok. The breadsticks were underwhelming. And the Buffalo wings appeared to be the one's you get at the frozen food section of the local grocery. They advertise "the best pizza...period" so I do want to go back to try that out. read more

Toppings are almost edge-to-edge and are generously applied, which makes the pizza relatively filling - the 13" size was more than enough food for my wife and I. Of note, our pizza was cut into squares rather than wedges; while I generally prefer wedges, given the heft of the toppings, the smaller squares seems like a logical choice. read more

We checked out Pizza Crossing for the first time during our first Comfort Food Cruise! The cruise option was a mini pizza with one topping, which was a nice taster on our journey. We got one with pepperoni and one with sausage. It is a thin crust pizza that came out piping hot and smelled good. It was a nice hot bite for a cold and icy day. It was perfectly fine pizza, with efficient service. Parking is available in a lot out front. The restaurant itself is a little dark and has a number of TVs. There were a number of large groups, families, and parties upon our visit so it seems like a hot spot for gatherings. It is a fine option for a quick bite of pizza. read more
