Was in Santa Clarita to drop my car off for servicing. Was craving for pizza and lasagna and did a quick yelp search and it brought me to Pizza Di Marco. Restaurant was in a small strip mall. It looked OK, they had outdoor seating and a little bit of indoor seating. Nothing fancy. You could tell that it was family run and I am a huge fan of family run businesses. The girl who helped me, sweet, Very attentive, gave lots of good recommendations, answered all my questions and took her time talking to me. Lots of takeout business and the cashier knew all her customers personally. Love that! I ordered an individual pepperoni pizza, lasagna, and a small pasta salad. The individual pepperoni pizza, crust was fluffy and light. Very tasty. Good amount of pepperoni and love the stringy cheese. I was craving for lasagna, this lasagna hit the spot! Lots of meat, ricotta cheese, and gooey mozzarella cheese. Their anti-pasta salad was filled to the top of the take out container. I ended up eating that salad three times afterwards. I'm not a huge leftover person, but the salad was very tasty. When I'm in Valencia again, Pizza Di Marco will be my go to place. read more

I just realized it has been two years since I last updated a Pizza Di Marco review for the Newhall Ranch Road location. This is a very clean restaurant with plenty of tables inside and out. I don't think they have a restroom for customers, but I am not sure as we always get our order to-go since we live nearby. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. The staff here including the cooks are all wonderful and kind. We are creatures of habit and choose certain eateries based on what we have a craving for. This is our go-to place for the antipasto salad and pizza. This past visit we also ordered the chicken parm on spaghetti with meat sauce. The salad if full of Italian meats, cheese and veggies and comes with garlic bread and dressings of your choice. We always order thin crust pizza with pink sauce and love it. The chicken parm is delicious and served on a hefty serving of spaghetti (enough for lunch). We ordered meat sauce on the parm as they have very good meat sauce. There are many family meal deals and combo coupon offers. They also include plenty of red chili peppers and parmesean packets to-go. Keep a eye out for the one-time special discount when you follow them on different social media sites. I know they have been here more than 25 years and have a successful business. We came in for lunch today. The restaurant was very clean and cool. I found their prices higher than expected. My wife and I shared an individual pizza (no extra to toppings) and a large garden salad. The garlic bread was excellent, the salad was good, however the pizza left a lot to be desired. My wife and I tried Pizza Di Marco for the first time tonight. We were greeted by Dana as soon as we entered. The restaurant is clean and spacious with cafe style inside seating. They also have a large shared patio outside. They have an extensive menu featuring pizzas, pasta dishes, sandwiches and salads. They have actual size pizza images on the wall so you know exactly what you're getting by size. I ordered the Italian Sub sandwich. It is a cold sandwich, but they toast the bread. That surprised me, but actually it worked very well. The sandwich meats tasted fresh and flavorful. My wife ordered their lasagna, which came from the oven bubbling hot. She ate everything and said it was very good. It comes with a couple of pieces of garlic toast, which she didn't share with me. In speaking to Dana, we found out that they have a 10" gluten-free pizza (we asked for my daughter-in-law and granddaughter) and they offer free delivery to a wide area. We will be back to try a pizza from their extensive choices. The prices are on par with other local pizza places, but they have specials that offer a good variety of food for a good price. Easily one of the best pizzas in Santa Clarita. The quality of presentation of the supreme/combo special pizza was picture-perfect. Toppings were sized right: you could easily see and taste each topping, yet no one topping dominated the flavor of the pizza. The crust was as good as any pizza I've had in SCV: flavorful with just the right amount of chewiness, yet not doughy or rubbery. The order taker/lone staffer was super friendly; and my XL pizza and calzone were ready in 20 mins. with no sacrifice of quality despite how quickly the to-go order was prepared. My "supreme" calzone was equally as good, however, I believe the pizzas offer a better value; and Pizza Di Marco-Valencia is one of the lowest cost places compared to similar pizza joints in town. Slice House is good for the big sizes and unique variety not often seen in the SCV. Toppers has good flavor and variety but the flavor quality of a lot of their pies fades quickly as the pizza cools off. Vincenzo's Saugus is a reliable choice for its good, smoky/garlicky crust and hearty slice size. However, going back to Pizza Di Marco-Valencia after not ordering from there in a couple years I'm putting them in my top three pizzas places (for pick up orders), and back in rotation as one of my go-to pizzas in town. read more

I ordered delivery from Pizza Di Marco today for a first time try; BBQ Chicken Pizza and a Pastrami Sandwich. A bit of a distraction problem over the phone on their end, like short staffed maybe? But a decent delivery time wait. The pizza had an overwhelming cilantro flavor my first slice, and a strong smoky barbecue sauce, too strong IMO. But a decent size for medium. And the pastrami was okay, but a tad too dry. However, I believe I enjoyed the sandwich more than my pizza. Kind of disappointing after wanting to give them a try for several years. This place is amazing. people always smile. Their staff was so pleasant and then I tasted their food and I was just floored. They had this new dish called the. DiMarco's Venezia, its Fire. I've been to this place five times. I've gotten that four out of the five times along with the Cajun Chicken chipotle, and with this dish you can actually adjust the heat level to your liking and it's bomb as well...I literally live on the other side of town, and I would drive over here just because of the food is so good and the people are so nice. We came here for dinner on a Monday night with our dog. We planned to sit outside, however the owner of the restaurant invited us to come inside with our puppy as long as she was leashed. She was so incredibly kind and so was the other employee who came over and said hi to our dog. The restaurant has a casual feel typical of your local pizza shop. It's a smaller space but on a Monday night it was not too busy or crowded. We had garlic bread, a deluxe calzone, an individual pizza with mushrooms, and the angel hair pomodoro. Everything was fantastic! The pizza dough is perfect, not too thin and not too thick, and there's a good amount of cheese on it which I liked. The calzone dough was also yummy and had a nice crust on the outside. The calzone also had a nice balance of vegetables and sausage. The garlic bread was exactly what you'd hope for, nicely toasted with lots of garlic. And the angel hair pasta was my personal favorite, with delicious sauce, basil, and mushrooms.
