So the main guy working here thinks his job is to hang out on the back what he does back there who knows.. Sometimes you get what you ordered sometimes they rum out of veggies. If you show up on time to get your pizza the guys usually in the back and maybe he started your pizza and its on the oven or maybe he hasn't even made it yet. That being said they do make a good a pizza pie. The dough a little chewy but the sauce and toppings are top notch in my book and the flavor is smackin. Just don't order before half time and just run over and get it because you're gonna miss the whole third quarter and the game might not even be on the tv at the pizza place because the guy apparently isn't a sports fan. Owner should put caneras in there to monitor employees and see what they be doing in the back that superseads the making of the pizza pie because this place could be a gold mine instead of kinda slow. Oh and don't order extra anything because it wont be extra and they try to make up for the slow sales by putting one parm and one pepper in the box so if you ask for it they say they already put some in the box. I've always loved Pizza Factory as a chain, very consistent and locations in most small towns and suburbia. Where you won't find them is in big cities, like SF. I guess they just think they're too sophisticated for a pizza "chain" that doesn't have some fancy wood fired oven. Well, I really like Pizza Factory and the dough they use for the crust and the hand tossing, giving the pizza edge it's shape. You know a pizza is good when you eat everything including the crust! I ended up coming in this Rocklin location cause I was out on location with my crew and it's lunch time. We can come in here and not have it take all day to eat. Some of the guys got the all you can eat buffet, but I decided to get a Calzone. I was just in the moods for that, too bad they don't have Calzones on the buffet. I got a large combo Calzone and shared it with the one other girl on the crew. The guys were eating right away but this Calzone was worth the wait. Pizza Factory has the best Calzone I can get these days. The best which was years ago was a small little Italian Cafe in San Diego where I grew up, you know the kinda of place with the old Italian guy owner sitting in the corner watching the staff, like yeah, he was da "boss"! I went to the spot so I could try out the lunch buffet to see how it is. The price was around $16 not sure if the foundry was an extra charge or just with it as I start to get my Pizza, the heat lamps were very hot almost like my hand was in an oven only pepperoni and a combination pizza and some breadsticks you might as well be giving me table scraps at this point and the salad bar was not even that good, but the lettuce had been sitting there after having a few slices of pizza, bread and salad, I had a stomach ache and I had to use the bathroom which one of the areas have weird smell service was fine. The guy was nice but the inside is like old and away, got stuff in a corner it would be nice to play some games that are in there, but their chain machine is broken. We stopped in on a Tuesday for their lunch buffet. The salad bar was fresh and well stocked. The pizza buffet, not so much. We had to wait 15 minutes for a pizza to be put out, and even then it was just pepperoni. It took another 20 minutes for another pizza to appear. Finally, after 45 minutes, cheesy bread twists were served. The pizza itself is very tasty, but until they figure out that the point of a pizza buffet is to grab a fast couple of slices, it was sort of an annoying way to spend $16 (with a soda). read more

We visited Pizza Factory to try the lunch buffet today. There was pizza, potato wedges, and garlic bread under the heat lamp. There was a salad bar that was being well tended, probably because the containers were not being filled up, but there was food added routinely after folks visited the bar. (Makes for nice fresh ingredients for your salad). On a side note, there was no pre-made/packaged potato or macaroni salad, it was all accoutrements for your green salad. My wife, five-year-old, and I were all happy with both the pizza and salad. The service was good. We were greeted right away. The folks working were friendly. The only issue I can think of at this point is the fact that I paid $14.99 for two buffets and $7.50 for the 5-year-old. The owners say on Yelp the price is $10.99. I'm not complaining, it's just irritating to have contradictory or conflicting information between the store and the web or app. This location is kept clean! It's decorated more on the modern side than most Pizza Factories I've visited. I kind of prefer the more traditional pizza parlour vibe, but I'm getting older and long for nostalgia! We order pizza every Friday night for the family, and we've been getting pizza factory every week for the last several months. Almost every week we walk in and our order is not ready at the online promised time. Last week we ordered 3 pepperoni pizzas, wait 35 minutes to the time it says the order will be ready, walk in and the one person behind the counter says he's alone, and hasn't made the pizzas yet. He offered a refund but told me he could have them done in 10 minutes. So I decided to wait because the pizza is pretty good. Fast forward to tonight. Ordered 4 large pepperoni pizzas at 4:30pm. We were planning on having dinner at home and eaten by 6:15pm due to prior engagements. WAITED ONE HOUR. Went to pick up at 5:30pm...Same lame excuse. Pizzas haven't even been started yet. DID YOU THINK THIS WAS A JOKE ORDER THAT I PAID FOR WITH MY CREDIT CARD ONLINE? WE LITERALLY BUY PIZZA HERE EVERY FRIDAY!!! Are you really that slow at making pizzas? Do you actually not care about customers? Is the lowest priority given to online orders? Whatever it is, The Pizza Factory has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! This time they went for his birthday and the worker remembered the last time they were there! The pizza is good and they don't put it out til you arrive. This Pizza Factory franchise serves the same amazing pizza as other Pizza Factories, but this one is located in a major suburban area. Every other location I've encountered has been in a rural area or a very small town. High quality pizza and cooked to perfection. We ordered three pizzas: an XL Awesome Combo, an XL cheese with white sauce, and a medium pepperoni. All three were delicious. We got them to go, but they have several beers on tap, so we may dine in next time. Bonus: I had a leftover slice of the Awesome Combo for breakfast this morning and it held up exactly as I hoped. read more

We placed our order at 5:05 PM for eat-in and they didn't actually start making it until 6:35 PM. It was very busy and they clearly were inadequately staffed. While I feel bad for the staff who were there, there came a point where they should have stopped taking orders or told people it would be a 1.5-2 hour wait. Or, offered the option for a refund for people like us who had been waiting 1.5 hours. Even when I kept calling in to add on to the order as the party number got bigger, they were happy to help. The food was ready and on time and so delicious. I ordered one small cheese pizza, one large calzone, spaghetti with meatballs and garlic bread at 5:48 (online ordering said it would be ready 6:12) I arrived at 6:14 and it was not ready they said it would be 7 more minutes however I did not get my food until 6:40 pm. During which another customer came in with a pizza asking for a refund which quite frankly didn't set my mind at ease with the whole experience. Once we got home the calzone had the cheese completely ripped off the top from the box they served it in. The spaghetti and meatballs was actually the baked spaghetti with no meatballs. The garlic bread was half garlic bread and half of the cheese bread which I didn't order. Overall the food was ok. The experience was enough that we won't be returning. I think we were the last pizza on a Sunday evening. Hoping to make it a lunch leftover. Picked up the pizza added a tip? $44.00 plus. When we got home, 3 pieces didn't have onion at all? Very saucy on several pieces, the cheese bread was twisted dough with cheese melted on top that came off all the twist when you pulled one out. We were so bummed! Anyhow, the entire pizza and twist went to the garbage. This was not made to expectation to the name brand. We are tired of throwing our money away for poor services or lack of quality work. Although we wish this place success. We will never recommend and we will not return. If you'd like to save your money for a pizza that rivals this with quality expectation? Get a 5.99 Ceasar cheese pizza This was a waste of time and money for us. I'm disappointed that with all their competition, they would cheat us out of our money or relied on quality of expectation.
