Service was prompt and professional. Food was excellent (I tried the 10 inch Athenian pizza - if you like gyros you will like this one) and the crust wasn't tough like most pizza's. Great salads and pizza. Our waitress let our drinks run out. She never came back so I had to go find someone for refills, She never brought a pizza box for our leftover pizza. We just happened to go buy this place as we were looking for someplace to go eat on our way home from SC. This just happens to be close to the way we had to go. Not many choices in Chesnee so they must get a lot of locals & regulars. Well we were not impressed by the staff. They acted as if you knew what you wanted as soon as you sat down. (I think they must be told to try hurrying the people to eat and leave, JMO.) This was our first time and only time we would ever go here unless I was desperate for a Greek salad. I have to say it was one of the better ones I've had in a long time since the Mad Greek in Nevada, but certainly not worth coming here just for that. Well my husband had to get a pizza. Worst mistake. The sauce was gross! I just could not eat it, it was bitter!! I've never tasted pizza sauce like that before. My husband was hungry and he didn't want to waste it so he ate what he wanted. The owner stood close by, I assumed it was her, a older woman who over looking the front area and sat people as they came in if she could. She watched all the tables to see what was available since they have social distancing with the tables yet and it was very limited. Just felt rushed like they want you to go as soon as your done. She was not friendly at all! Never talked to anyone to see how the food was. While there we asked to sample the spaghetti sauce since my Mom loves Italian. The waitress brought a small sample. I was so glad we did not get the spaghetti or anything else with anymore sauce. All I can say is yuck! It was nasty!!!!! I am so glad we tried it we were almost going to order a to go for my Mom. Certainly not real Italian sauce or homemade it couldn't be. I'd rate lower than 2 stars but the salad wasnt bad. I did ask for a little extra Greek dressing and she charged for it. 4 stars for location and outstanding service. For a small town in the South, they actually gave a decent Italian offering. I had the Italian Combo for $11.95. I was a little let down because it was smothered in cheese and was over cooked in the oven rendering the pasta mushy and the sauce dry. A little less cheese and time in the oven would have improved the entrée greatly. If they were in a major city, they would have to step up their game on the ambience and quality of their food. My waitress, Stephanie, was great. The place was packed on a Friday night, but since I was eating alone, I was seated immediately. I got a pretty simple order of 10 wings and mozzarella sticks, Asian flavored and the medium. I asked for extra crispy, and most places leave me with chewy wings after being specific with that request but this place cooked these wings with PASSION. And the flavor was amazing! Llike I said a simple order but many have messed up such. I Will be making the 25 minute trip back here just for the wings and might try the chicken parm next time. I hope it wasn't a fluke and they're as good tmrw as they were today. The only negative thing I would say is the guy up front at the register, maybe the owner, didn't say a word to me. So we went to the Pizza House in Chesnee tonight , and the experience was something very different. The food didn't come out for the three of us at the same time the side items were missing or had been replaced without even asking which one we wanted to choose . They brought me the wrong dish which was five more dollars and I sent it back . The baked potatoes were pretty cooked which would not be a problem if they didn't have huge hard spots in the middle of them that were Brown and look like the skin of browned salmon down into the potato . As a child I love this place as an adult I love this place it's only been in the last couple of years that I do not love this place . The drive-thru has left things off of my order many times that's why we decided to dine in tonight we will not be going back.the meal cost 70.00 and the pizza H ouse didnt even offer a discount for all the trouble. read more

Called in an order and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived on time and paid at drive thru window, was told to pull up and they would bring my order out. After waiting for 35 minutes and seeing many customers come and go, I asked for my order again and the waitress said she had been calling for it and it hadn't come up yet. So after 35 minutes of waiting she brought out my order and apologized for having to wait so long. Got home and opened the food and the hoagie was ice cold, ordered it hot, and the calzone looked like a chef boyardee kit pizza! Came in for the first time today around 2:30 with a party of 2. Not very busy at all. Ordered the eggplant Parmesan sub with a side of 1/2 fries and 1/2 onion rings. Eggplant was tougher than rubber; it was obviously frozen, not fresh. Completely inedible. The fries and onion rings were ok; nothing special. Tried some of the homemade chips, and they were pretty good. Service was below average. I asked for mustard for my onion rings, and the waitress looked at me as though I was from another planet. She never once asked how the food was (I guess she already knew or didn't care to know), and she never offered me a refill for my water. She was a lot more attentive to her other tables than she was to ours. As a side note, I also found an ant on the bottom of my cup and a gnat in my plate, and the other person in my party found a couple ants in his plate. Waited 20 minutes with our menus closed, waiting to order while waitresses walked by us. I finally got up and had to ask why we hadn't been waited on yet. When someone finally came to take our drink order they explained that there was a shift change and no one told the waitresses. I, however, couldn't help but notice that the waitresses had been sitting & chatting with the hostess that had seated us the entire time we'd been waiting. This seemed like an excuse. None of those waitresses took notice of the fact that customers were sitting there twiddling their thumbs waiting to be waited on? Yeah, I bet they did, but it was much more fun to sit and chat with the girls...NO ONE apologized. I could continue to rant but I will just finish by saying "never again". We love the pizza house. Everything is good. They really know how to cook. I love the antipasto salad, it's my favorite. Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken is fantastic. So is the gyro platter. My husband had eaten here before & claimed it to be the best pizza he had ever eaten. I was certainly up for this challenge! While it was not the best I've ever eaten, it was really good. He claims the pizza at lunch is better than it is at night. We both had small Greek salads & a Canadian bacon & mushroom pizza. Our waitress was great & had a super personality, but we had to ask about our food & an order we got to go.
