We recently went on a Sunday for the lunch buffet. The cost with tax was around $20.00 for two adults. The place is small and crowded, but the kitchen was pumping out pizzas as fast as the patrons could consume them. The pizza, especially the garlic crust, was good, as was the buffalo wings and cinnamon bites which are also included in the buffet. Each buffet comes with a complimentary salad which was also good. It included lettuce, cheese, croutons, and a couple veggies. Our only complaint was that the lettuce on the salad didn't seem super fresh. Other than that, we recommend the Sunday lunch buffet. Terrible experience here tonight. Our waitress was obviously new and made numerous mistakes but I'm a patient person so I wasn't mad at her. What did make me mad was the fact that our first pizza was almost raw it was so undercooked. It took over 30 mins for our re-cook to come out and they still charged us! I just want to state, that I worked for pizza hut for many years, but its been a while. So I asked if I could get only sausage and onion in my PZone. I was told thay they come premade. I pretty much know that this is not true. I asked someone else that I know if it was correct. They told me no they are not premade. So basically I was lied to because they were to lazy to even attempt what I asked. I know they probably pre make a few, but it is entirely possible to do what I asked. I never had anything bad to say about this pizza hut..... until tonight! I placed my order online like I always do, received my confirmation email saying that my order would be ready at 7:29 pm. I arrived at the window and paid for my order at 7:33 pm. They said it wasn't quite ready yet and asked if I could pull to the pickup area. They brought out my order at 7:45 pm. The guy didn't say anything other than here ya go. No I'm sorry for it taking so long, I apologize, nothing! Mind you this is a Tuesday night with NOT ONE customer inside the dining area!! I don't want or expect anything for the wait other than hey "we're sorry for your wait" but they didn't have the common courtesy to even say that. read more

Have dined in at this location many times over the years and have taken out online orders even more (I would guess more than 40 times). Have always had fast and great service. Unfortunate for customers, the food is good and reasonably priced, however the service from the top to the bottom is terrible, not every time or everyone who works there, just more often than not. It doesn't matter if they're busy or not. **** BE PREPARED TO WAIT IN EXCESS OF 40 MINUTES FROM THE TIME YOU ORDER TO THE TIME YOU ACTUALLY GET YOUR FOOD. Also be prepared for order screw ups. Eaten at this location several times, both buffet, dine-in and carry-out. Pros - Set up like a sports bar, there is beer on tap. Cons - The quality of food at Pizza Hut has declined greatly. The dough is from frozen, the sauce tastes canned, the cheese is cheap and the toppings are skimped. Buffet quality pizza is even worse, almost as if on purpose. 2 Stars - One star because I have to give one star, a second star because they have beer on tap. read more

Well I went to the Pizza Hut in forney today just for a change. What a mistake it was ! I only gave 2 stars because the restaurant was clean and looked like a good place to hang out. They even have a bar with beer specials on game nights! The pizza was worse than a frozen wall mart pizza !! Cold and dry !! Then when they brought out more it was hot but it had no sauce and was dry !! The only thing I can say I liked is the inside decor !! They need new chefs and leadership ! I like this Pizza Hut usually and order from it often. I always order online and then pick up my order at the drive thru window. This evening, while waiting for my order at the window, the man working the window picked his nose and then wiped his finger on his pants. I don't know if he actually prepares food or not, but it really doesn't matter. At the very least, he's packaging it up and handing it to customers. That is absolutely disgusting, and not only have I lost my appetite, but I'll also probably never visit this location again!! read more

We stopped going after we witnessed a server checking her blood sugar level while standing at the bar to seat people. Then she seated a party and served food! Never washed her hands. It was a stroke of luck that a regional manager was there that night observing. We told him, he said something to the girl, she went to the back, he apologized and we walked out. Were one of those regular customers that haven't returned back. We ordered we waited and waited our waiter was new. We waited some more and noticed it's been an HOUR NO PIZZA the newest manager apologized and stated they don't know where it went. I'm like this place is not big. They offered a free one on the next visit since we were not waiting any longer. I went on a Sunday after church for the buffet. This was one of the worst experience I have ever had at a Forney restaurant. We usually always have to wait for a table because of the size of our family, but this was different there were two tables that were empty and we but had not been bused yet so we waited a few minutes for them to clean them so that we could sat down. After some time time had passed we asked the host if they could bus the tables she told us we were not on the list and they would not bus them until we were. Mind you there were no one else waiting, we then waited another 5 minutes after being on the list the tables had still not been cleaned. We ask the host if we could order two med. pizzas she told that she could not take our order it had to be one the two servers that were really busy. We waited another 10 minutes and still no clean tables. We decided an enough was enough and went to Half Time across the street where they were happy to see us and burgers and pizza was awesome. We will never be back to Pizza Hut again. I did not want to give the one wish there was a negative star to give. read more

While the food is usually OK, they apparently don't care about the delivery drivers running like bats out of Hell. One yahoo in particular in s red truck barrels through our neighborhood, Windmill Farms, and has almost hit my wife and daughter. I told a manager and she as pretty indifferent to it. I went on line to order the new $10.00 Dinner Box that contained the Medium square pizza, 5 bread sticks with Marinara and 10 Cinnamon sticks with icing. Well to my disbelief as I was ordering it the very last thing was NO 10 CINNAMON STICKS WERE AVAILABLE!!! STILL THE SAME PRICE!! I love my pizza hut and this happens? Next stop... It has been a long time since I have walked out of a restaurant, but my family I did recently at this location. The waiter had us all set up and my little nephew had started to eat, drinks ordered when one of the employees came up and questioned us on our table setup. She claimed that we didn't have enough people to sit at our table configuration (3 small tables) even though we had 8 in our party. She proceeded to argue with us so I told her we can just leave if she was that worried about the table configuration her fellow employee setup. I have never been questioned like this before before not to mention the joint wasn't even half full. As we left the employee was extremely mad and unprofessional. My brother in law asked to talk to the manager but we pretty much had the same results. He didn't really care nor tried to remedy the issue. I see some other reviewers have had issues with the staff.
