Ordered online. When I came in the store, they told me someone else picked up my order already. Once they remade my order, I took it to the car and found they didn't put a fork in the bag for my sub in a tub. Went back in the store and the girl said they've been out of forks for weeks. I asked if they had a spoon or something I could use to eat my food. She said let me go check and went in the back. Some other girl came out with a very snarky attitude and said "We don't have any forks. Haven't had any for weeks. Sorry! Bye!" So, in order to eat my food, I had to go down the street to Walgreens to buy a box of plastic forks. If they don't have any forks, they shouldn't offer the sub in a tub option. Also, if they've been out of forks for weeks, the manager should go buy some. The worst part of the experience was the girls attitude. Very, very rude and unhelpful. read more

I have only eaten here twice. The first time was a couple of weeks ago and the second was tonight. The first experience was pretty good. But sadly, tonight's was awful. Both times I ordered the Roast beef w/provolone regular. The first sub was loaded with meat and very fresh. Tonight's was soggy with very little meat. I also noticed that they are not consistent on cutting their bread to the ordered length l. My sandwich was a good 2" shorter than my wife's. I think the failure here was placing my order via phone vs ordering face to face. I think they are more likely to make you a great sandwich if you are watching them make it. Every now and then this lady longs to break away from the Dallas eateries and it's hustle and bustle and (sp?) stop and show a local franchise some love. I look forward to a down home, hot sandwich or a cold cut when the mood strikes and boy was I getting an urge that Monday afternoon. I received a notification in the mail announcing that a Jersey Mikes had made it's way to Forney. I've never eaten at this chain, but suddenly decided to give it a try when a Free sammy was offered with a Genesis Women's Shelter Donation. Super neat huh?!!! Let me tell y'all how cool Adam is. He is the restaurant owner at the Forney location and makes you feel like your business is appreciated. He answered all of my unnecessary questions with enthusiasm in his voice and a smile (I think I even saw a little pep in his step). He was also on the line with his employees slicing meats and getting orders in! I ordered the 43 (chipotle cheesesteak) with rosemary parmesan bread (Adam said I was "fancy" for that). The meat was cooked to order, so my anxiety became overwhelming during the 5-7 minute wait time. The sandwich was tasty. One of the better cheesteaks I've had for around $7 (well that day it was $2) but Adam made the trip worthwhile. Maybe I've been going to the wrong places but his energy was intoxicating and will leave you wanting to be his best friend! My experience makes me want to continue to give them my business. Jersey Mikes is my favorite sub place so still come here before any other sub place, at its worst it is still better than the best subway. Here's my issues- 1, not enough lettuce. Mike would be upset. 2, The soda lids they provide for a fountain drink are a travesty. If you grab the cup more than halfway up, the lid will pop off and you will have one of those "oh S**t" moments in your car or wherever you may be. 3, CUT THE SUB ALL THE WAY THROUGH PEOPLE. read more

He did the right thing and satisfied my disappointment. These reviews help businesses understand how to educate there employees and understand customers. I appreciate people that can hear your side of the story and share there side of the story and come to a mutual agreement. The sandwiches were never the issue, always happy employees making great food. The computer was not set up for the coupon I used and the problem has been updated from what I understand. Wonderful service made the sub even better! When the staff wasn't serving guests, they were making the dining area and work area cleaner! My order was 1 big Kahana. It has meat cheese and had jalapeños to the mix. Plenty of good stuff. Bread is a little underwhelming, but still not bad. I'm used to Amaroso's. Actually love the sandwiches. However the gift card system has a lot to be desired. My boys bought me a gift card for fathers day with 25 dollars because they know I like Jersey Mikes. A couple weeks later I decided to use it and bought a sandwich. Tried to use the gift card and it failed. They tried again and it failed. They tried a third time and then they told me I only had something like 3.95 remaining on the card. I told them it was a brand new gift card. Jersey Mike's is my favorite! The Forney location in particular has a Great staff! great group of guys, that make it a fun dining experience, and really cater to their customers! These guys serve a great sandwich with some of the best tasing freshly sliced turkey, roast beef, salami etc... freshly sliced and placed right on your sandwich! The #8 with bacon is a solid choice, and the #13 is pretty insane! There are not a lot of times I don't choose Jersey Mike's for Lunch if the choice is left up to me! I first had Jersey Mike's many years ago when they first came to Dallas off of Greenville Avenue, and have not been able to shake the Jersey Mike sandwich craving! When I first changed job locations to Forney back in January, my options were a gas station Subway or a Subway in a Walmart! :( Needless to say, I was more than pumped when Jersey Mike's announced they were coming to Forney! A man slicing the meat, and I'm cool with tattoos, but piercings and a beard seem bad to be hovering over food, told me he'd tell me two giant subs for regular sub price. I thought that was really nice of him. He sliced the bread and started to slice the meat and said, "oh. You have a coupon. I'll just do the two regular." And put away the bread. I just thought it was strange customer service. Just do what you say you'll do. My husband was up all night sick so I didn't feel like saying anything. I can in because of the coupon, a small treat when times have been hard because I'm switching jobs and going awhile without a paycheck. It brightened my day when he offered two giant subs and then he took it away. For a place that plays Christian music so loudly you'd expect to not walk in and see and the men behind the counter ogling and flirting with the just out of high school associate.
