Well, we had a two-hour and forty minute wait last night for our pizza. This is a two-star review because they refunded the cost of our pizza, at least, but it took multiple calls to them to get it all figured out. Apparently they got slammed that evening, but these folks didn't call to let me know, and a driver got lost and returned to the store without reaching me. Basically, thank you for the free pizza, but the three hours of calling your store weren't negligible. Keep your customers posted if you're running into trouble with either the production or delivery of the food they've ordered. Ordered a thin crust meat lovers pizza & it was the worst pizza I have had. The crust was so dry, it was like eating a cracker with pizza toppings. This store has the worst customer service, after ordering a pizza and waiting close to 2 hours! I called the store and was placed on hold for close to 17 minutes. A manager finally gets on the phone and tells me if I still want the pizza it will be another hour and 15 minutes & she can give me a "$25 credit" plus my refund will take 5-10 business days..... how ridiculous. Very poor customer service!! $60 order was canceled because the driver could not read a map. Management refused to compensate appropriately and only offered small discount in the amount of online public coupon with another hour wait. Never again will I patronize this place! First, we have ordered a few times from this place, and the best experiences are them showing up 10 minutes after the quoted time. One time they showed up AN HOUR, after the 45 minute quote. Last night, the Mrs. and I decided to take advantage of an offer that showed up in the mail. It was late, both of us had to work in the morning, and we didnt feel like cooking. Despite the bad experiences in the past with this Pizza Hut we went against our better judgement and ordered. The lady on the phone was okay at first, not nice, not rude. I ordered, and she quoted a time of 50 minutes. I gave special instructions of how to notify us of their arrival due to the secured entrance at our building. About 55 minutes later, I get a call from Pizza Hut saying that the driver had come, but we didnt answer the phone. This is BS, because the front door rings right to our cell phone that was a foot away from us at the time. I could hear the conversation between the driver and the person at the store, and the driver was speaking in spanish, but saying that he called 3 times. So after basically calling me a liar, she very rudely said "Well do you still want the Pizza?". I was thinking about cancelling, but have no faith that these idiots could figure out how to void the already run credit card transaction. So of course I want what we paid for! I then ask to speak to the manager who was pretty friendly, but still backed up his drivers claim that he called 3 times. He arranged for another driver to bring the pizza but at this point it was an hour and 20 minutes after ordering, being called a liar, and recieving cold pizza. The guy who finally delivered the Pizza was nice, but if I am going to spend money on food, I will go somewhere who delivers in a timely manner, provides reasonable customer service, and can provide food that is hot. Here is what went down when i ordered from this Pizza Hut location. Since i just moved to this area, i wanted some Pizza. Saw Pizza Huts deals were better than papa johns and domino's at the time & thought i'd order here. Undercooked? Unwanted meats & toppings? Oh my! So my order finally arrived 10 minutes late but the food surprisingly looked GREAT! No kidding it looked like it was prepared right & just to let you all know, i ordered at 10:30pm on a friday. I also ordered a side with it & the side tasted alright. But somehow the pizza when biting down on it seemed off. It took me awhile to figure it out but i had SAUSAGE on my pizza! I NEVER ordered sausage. I really hope they didn't get beef and sausage mixed up because that was what was missing & you as a pizza chain are suppose to when out of a topping, reimburse the customer some money instead *since my toppings costed extra*. But instead i get sausage. Not happy. But overall i liked the food. Sadly the happy thoughts would turn into sad ones. The next day i started feeling ill but not bad and then the day after that i began to feel a tummy bug coming on. I thought to myself "What is this? What did i eat?" Then i remembered my pizza & then the thoughts of reviews saying "undercooked" made me start to realize that i could of been eating undercooked pizza. I was there with my grandson last night just as the power went out in the area! Kuddos to the entire staff! We were fortunate enough to have our pizza ready just as the power went out. They staff did all possible to handle the emergency in a safe manner. In addition, they allowed us to stay safely inside and provided an employee's cellphone flashlight at our table so we could see our food. Pizza was delicious. My young grandson calmly enjoyed his pizza until he had eaten enough. Then staff member Jennifer walked us to our car lighting the way with her flashlight and wishing us a safe drive home. This is my first time ordering since they moved locations. I ordered by cell phone online 8/8/14 at 8:28pm. 1 cheesy bites pizza. Online said it would be ready 8:43, 15 mins. which surprised me. It was ready in 16 mins. I ordered from the airport and I was there in 5 mins. That's why 2 stars. It was ready on a busy night. Service was fine. However, this was the flattest pizza I've ever had from Pizza Hut. It was not good. Tasted like cardboard. I used to order once a week from the old place and it was really good. The customer services left much to be desired. I ordered online for a carryout order after a long work day. Upon entering, had to wait for someone to come up front to check me out. I saw my name on the carry out list and they checked me out. Instead of being courteous and stating that I had a few more minutes until my order was ready, the employee walked away. My pick up time came and went until finally someone from the back came up to hand me my pizza that was in the warmer. I left and before driving from the parking lot, my pizza didn't smell like the normal pizza I buy. I looked and it was the wrong order. I go back and the guy in the back looks at the pizza and my receipt and says "yup, thats not the right one, I'll go make another". No apology. No acknowledgement that something ended up wrong. After receiving my correct pizza, the amount of toppings (only two by the way) was very sparse in comparison to other Pizza Huts that I've been to. I do not plan on going back. IT'S NOT!!!! I call back and get the same guy on the phone and he says I have to be kidding, uhm no. I have people to feed and I am not waiting another hour for my other pizza. So he credited my account for the pizza. I got to the Pizza Hut location on 234th and Pacific Highway, and when I walked in there was no one at the front counter. A gentleman walks out and I asked him where was the pizza slices because there was no pizza prepared at all. He told me that it will be at least 30 minutes for pizza I said it's lunchtime and you don't have pizza for sale? He replied that they have been really busy, which was a lie I'm looking now at their open sign, the neon sign and it's not even on. I made my order to pizza hut on the night of April 29th. I was unfortunate to not find and sauce the my cinnamon sticks. I tried to call and tell them of their mistake. But to my dismay i was on hold for over 30 minutes. I eventually just made another order to talk with a real person. And continued to stay on the line in hopes of talking with an actual person. But my new order showed up and when i told him what happened he did nothing to try and ease my pain. No offering of anything. All i can say is this is a very shotty operation being run here.
