I haven't been to Great Wall in awhile so I was surprised to see this place. Maybe it's always been there and I've never noticed haha. Got dinner here with my friend and her family. Very Asian decoration inside haha. Picture of food on the wall is a great sign. The ladies working were fast and friendly. I ordered m12 with wonton and bbq pork. Serving was huge, lots of wonton and slices of bbq pork. Everything was great, broth was on the sweeter side but nothing some chili oil and vinegar couldn't fix. I only manage to eat half before asking to take the rest home. Very yummy bowl of noodles. Loved the bits of fried pork I was getting in my soup. Will def be back if I'm ever in the area!

They charge extra for dumplings, but when I get home and open them to eat, there are no dumplings in the box. People should be careful when order to go because no one will open them to check when taking out. When I opened the box, the food presentation was terrible, not like before

Been here almost every week. M13 is what I always have. Without exception ! This time food was exceptional as always. A bit slow on Sun morning.

This is one of few spots I see inside the Great Wall Shopping Mall that has every table filled during lunchtime on weekends, and for good reason too! I usually go here for lunch with family whenever I visit the 99 Ranch in the same building. Inside gets particularly loud, and there aren't as many tables to sit in as you would expect. Food was brought out relatively quickly, and it was easy to flag down someone for tea or water. I got the combination rice noodle, which has shrimp, chicken, BBQ pork and pork liver. I'm not a fan of pork liver, but the soup base and shrimp were so flavorful! The taste of the chicken and the BBQ pork weren't to my liking. Noodles did not fall apart too easily and balanced the saltiness of the soup base, which was a plus. I also ordered some Chinese donuts as an appetizer, and they're some of the best I've had since they were crispy and not drenched and soggy from any excess oil. This is a place I like coming to again and again for their noodle soups at relatively low prices per bowl too!

We ordered roast duck egg noodle, fried butter garlic wings & beef chow fun. We absolutely love the roast duck egg noodle & beef chow fun! The wings were great & crunchy & juicy, but it can do a bit more seasoning on the outside. The beef chow fun was delicious but it is a little bit too oily to my liking! Service was fast & restaurant was clean and accommodating!

This authentic family-owned Vietnamese-Chinese restaurant is located inside the Great Wall Shopping Mall. The restaurant is a fast, casual place for families to dine-in and enjoy a warm meal. The wait time may be long due to the popularity of Hue Ky Mi Gia, but the food is served quickly once you are seated and finish ordering. The service here is great and moderately fast for how busy the restaurant is. There is also a self-serve area for extra condiments such as pickled jalapeños, hot chili oil, and soy sauce. I've had the fried calamari, wontons and tofu here. But unfortunately they were out of several appetizers during this visit. We ordered the Cánh Gà Chiên Bơ (Fried Butter Chicken Wings) to start off our meal, and it was absolutely crispy and delicious. I highly recommend getting any of the fried appetizers, because they're always served hot and fresh. Mì Vịt Tiềm (Braised Duck with Egg Noodle Soup) is always my go-to order here, because the broth is savory and the braised duck meat is super tender. I love the addition of bok choy, because it adds a fresh, crispy element to the dish. I typically don't eat the shiitake mushroom in the soup, because it has a strong herbal flavor that enhances the umami in the broth. Mì Xào Giòn Bò (Crispy Chow Mein with Beef) is a childhood favorite of mine, because I always enjoy how crunchy the noodles are. The noodles in the middle are usually softer because it soaks up the sauce that is poured on top of the dish. The veggies also add a nice crunch, I love bok choy and the beef is tender. Overall, I would say this is one of the best Vietnamese-Chinese noodle houses in Washington. It's even better to dine here on a super cold day, because the soup instantly warms you up.

Great soup restaurant. You know how the flow goes: you walk in, get seated, order your food, eat and drink, and go up to the counter to pay. If you want to get the wait staff's attention, you just need to wave them down. They'd be glad to come to you without hesitation. This is my fav go-to place when I visit Great Wall Shopping Plaza.

Second time eating here, they have an extensive menu. I tried the braised duck soup, it wasn't that great! I love the taste of Peking duck but not in soup. My husband had the beef egg noodle soup. It was beautifully presented and was enjoyable and filling. I also enjoyed the spicy wonton. Service is quick but the place is crowded. The tiny restaurant is located inside the Great Wall Shopping Mall.

kids want to try the beef noodle soup here since we see most people order noodle soup here. So we try it. The ambience is your typical Chinese restaurant and the staffed are from Vietnam but they speak Chinese too. Order the fried squid. It came out really fast. It was nice but wished it had more breading on it so is more crunchy. The beef noodle soup was ok. Is not your typical Taiwanese Noddle Soup 牛肉面, is more like Hong Kong style. The noodle is egg noodle so not much noodle and the beef was nice but not many pieces. The broth is clear broth. Probably will not be back.

Anyway, when we opened the food containers, we saw how big the portions were and how nicely each were packed. The quality and taste of each item were great! Definitely met our expectations. Luckily I saw Pho T & L was open and I've had this place saved for a while so this was the best timing to try them out. We arrived and it was pretty busy and we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone else seats us as it took a few minutes for us to get noticed. After a little of standing awkwardly near the entrance, someone noticed us and motioned us to sit near the check out area which you do need to go up and pay rather than wait for someone to drop off a check. We were given waters and menus and given a decent amount of time to decide what we wanted. My friends got a lemonade with tea, Thai tea, shaking beef and combo vermicelli while my boyfriend got the shaking beef and egg rolls and I got the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls. My boyfriend got his egg rolls and I didn't get my spring rolls until after everyone's' order came in so I have a feeling that the employee who took our order forgot or the kitchen forgot. There was no apology or anything for it either. I got my food first, after several minutes the shaking beef came out and after another a while my friend got his vermicelli bowl. Luckily we weren't pressed for time but it made it awkward as we didn't get our food at the same time and it took a bit to get them. I am a slow eater so I guess it worked out that I got mine first but I also didn't receive my spring rolls until I brought it up once we received everything else. The food was phenomenal and our friends said their drinks were perfect too. I did enjoy my Bun Bo Hue, though I did make it a bit more spicier with their chili oil. They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. The service was also pretty much non-existent, it wasn't rude but just felt rushed and cold.
