This place is nice and clean. There isn't a buffet at this one, but the pizza is great. I do miss the old stained-glass light fixtures and red translucent cups that every Pizza Hut used to have (for those undereducated folks, translucent means that some light gets through, but is not transparent. If you don't know what transparent means, I can't help you). My son said that the wings were "bussin' bussin'", whatever that means. He's a weird guy. It is a classier establishment as evidenced by the fact that they serve Pepsi instead of the rear echelon Coke products. My daughter said that the "urination station" was pleasant. Beautiful new Pizza Hut in the town we stopped in, for quick bite. First off, the pizza oven was phenomenal. Very courteous counter staff, wait staff and management stopped by to check on us, and the pizza was really quite delicious, piping hot, topped with pineapple and ham. YUM. I truly feel the state of the art pizza oven has alot to do with the improved pizza taste. Caesar Salad consisted of fresh romaine lettuce with an appropriate ratio of dressing coating it well. They didn't skimp on grated Parmesan cheese either. We/I had to order the Cinnamon Iced Pizza Dough dessert, knowing I would be eating 2/3 of them and I did. Well it's Pizza Hut so what can I say - the pizza is hot, cheesy, generally good and if I were traveling along through Madisonville and Felt like eating pizza this would be a great place to go. They could improve their restrooms a bit- they were clean sort of. They didn't smell nasty or anything else you expect from a men's restroom, but I tell you the Buckys across the highway keeps much cleaner restrooms. The service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed our experience here at Pizza Hut... I haven't been to one in years, and we stopped at this location today because we were passing through, starving, and there were no other options aside from typical fast food and some nasty looking China all-you-can-eats. The buffet is dirt cheap. For our family of four, I think we spent $25. Granted, I have a four year old that ate for $2.99 and a one year old that ate for free. We had mini calzones, several varieties of pizza, breadsticks, salad, pasta and dessert pizza. More than sufficient for the price. The staff was nice and attentive... no problems there. BOTTOM LINE: A solid place to eat in a place with few other options. read more

I've stopped here twice on the way to Dallas. This isn't the best Pizza Hut ever, it's the only one in the town, and one of the few places to sit down and have a meal that isn't fast food per se. Came in on our way to Dallas to have a quick bite to eat and be on the way. Lady seated us and never returned to the table. Two other families came in after us and she never once came back to take our drink order or ask if we wanted to order. Waitress took drink orders for both tables and delivered drink orders to both tables and was taking meal orders for first table she sat and never once looked our way. We decided to leave after 20 minutes of being ignored. Once we left the restaurant, lady told us "thank you." Incredibly poor service at this location. More than likely will never return and will advise our friends who also travel in and out of this area not to stop either. The new and improved location comes with the same improved food. Wow- so much better than before. We frequently get carry out or delivery. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and wings the other day and we all agreed that whoever made our pizza did so with so much love. It was AMAZING. We usually get the honey bbq wings and they are always good. I'm so glad that the Pizza Hut got a face lift because we love pizza so much and this is our only option in Madisonville. We have come to the pPizza Hut in Madisonville for 12 years on our trip to Galveston for cheer competition. On Friday we come through as planned looked up the hours to make sure it was open at 11am. It was and it said it still served a buffet and salad bar, which is what we where wants as always. Got there and NO buffet and No salad bar. It was a sit down place still but had to order individual pizzas and salad for our party. Ok I get it they change but change your website. When we said something to the lady at the register she just smiled and said so what do you want. Our pizza dough was either not cooked enough or something plus extremely lot of sauce on the pizzas. Some of the spinach was burned on the pizza. Very disappointed. read more

When my family and I first came in, a waitress passed by us but ignored us and went straight to the soda fountains to refill someone's drink(s). In other circumstances, I would give them a 2 star rating, but seeing how it's Friday and everyone in the town is here for the buffet, I give them 3 stars. Their food was good and the waitress that actually sat us down was extremely polite. By the way, her name is Elizabeth and I hope that, by reading this, the franchise will give her a raise. Ok this is by far the worst Pizza Hut we have ever been to! We went for the lunch buffet and we were highly disgusted at the selection. There was no pan pepperoni pizza on the buffet so I asked the staff to make one to put it on the buffet. Ok great no problem. Then there was no meaty marinara pasta on the buffet only this pasta with big green veggies in it of some sort that looked and smelled GROSS! I quickly asked if they could make one and they said yes. Well apparently one waitress that barely speaks any English was helping us. The first battle was explaining we wanted it on the buffet and not at our table. The second battle was she had NO IDEA what we were talking about so we asked for a menu to show her. WELL, there was no meaty marinara pasta on this menu!!! WHAT! WHY? So we could not order it! This is obviously a Pizza Hut that has inventory issues. The sweet tea was NOT sweet at all. So I went to the bathroom before we left...HUGE MISTAKE! The sink was covered in mildew, the floor was soaked in pee, the toilet seat was covered in ancient shit stains and it smelled and obviously was not cleaned in WEEKS! I had to PISS so I thought hurry up and get out. Well I pulled my shorts down to squat over the pot and this GIANT DOLLAR SIZED ROACH CAME RUNNING RIGHT BY ANKLES and I screamed BLOODY murder and said HOLY FUCK ROACH! Well this thing was running up and down the sides of toilet while I was trying to get the rest of my pee out! Everyone else that was in their waiting LEFT IMMEDIATELY! I got out of the bathroom like a bat out of hell and told the manager who looked like she was 18 that the bathroom WAS GROSS AS FUCK and a giant roach ran across by my feet the size of a dollar bill. She was trying not to laugh and just said "We will take care of it I am sorry". She obviously was not sorry! Your bathrooms are GROSS it is no surprise you have ROACHES! We will not be back! There is 2 other Pizza Hut buffets on the way to Dallas/Houston besides this one. I would give this place 0 stars if I could! read more
