Driving through Huntsville, TX and stopped here for a bite and the pizza was great. It was during their lunch buffet so there was plenty of variety. The pepperoni rolls were packed with pepperoni and cheese, the steak Stromboli had tons of juicy steak and gooey cheese and the staff made sure there was plenty of pizza out on the buffet line. I like to go here on bingo night which is the 1st Thursday of every month. It's always a lot of fun. The first 2 bingo cards you get are free and it's $1 for every additional bingo card that you get. They do three winners for each of the games except black out, which only has one winner. They have various different prizes to choose from, but they always have one big blackout prize. It's just a lot of fun. The buffet is really good, they have a salad, a variety of pizzas and desert. I definitely look forward to going every month. This is a good place if you are looking for the dine in pizza parlor experience. They have video games, air hockey, juke box, and some games of chance to keep the kids occupied. They serve beer for those a little older. You can watch the pizzas being made, which is always cool. You get your pizza right out of the oven, so it's got and fresh when it gets to your table. The dining areas and restrooms were clean. Employees seemed to be content. They have TVs mounted throughout in case you want to watch the game. They do not have a bar. The pizzas were good. Made with fresh ingredients. Cooked well. They offer the usual condiments to go with it. They offer tea and Pepsi products with green refills. Haven't eaten at a Double Dave's in over a decade. As a result, I was incredibly excited to see one in Huntsville. Much to my disappointment, they were not serving their buffet. Since I'm not from around here, I'm not sure if that was a company or local decision. Not having a buffet was my only reason for a poor rating. Ordinarily, I love their food and would have eaten here. I simply didn't want to spend that much money on an individual pizza. Don't let my poor experience keep you from trying it out. read more

The few times I have decided to eat inside I have had to wait for an extended amount of time. The most recent time and initiating event behind this review, I waited 42 minutes for one pizza. The explanation provided was that six other to go orders were ahead of me. I understand being backed up however, I would expect advanced notice be provided to customers. There were two sets of customers inside the restaurant at the time. I do not think I will ever dine in again at this location. It did not instill any confidence that the young individuals in the kitchen were cutting up and using their cellphones while preparing orders.they certainly prioritize to go orders over dine in. read more

This is my favorite place for a pizza buffet. The pizzas are great, awesome salad bar, games for the kids, great atmosphere and you really can't beat the prices. I like that they offer the buffet every day for lunch plus two nights at dinner time. I do not normally order pizza from here because individual pizzas prices are too much for me!! But that doesn't stop me from giving them 5 stars, because the buffet totally makes up for that. read more

I'm in disbelief. Went there twice and messed up service twice. Second time was extraordinary though. Their pizza rolls might have 2 or 3 pepperoni in them so I ordered and paid for double pepperoni the day before. They pre-make their pizza rolls and bake fresh, you can't walk in and order custom there. But I played by the rules. The lady that took that order asked me "around what time do you think you'll be here?" I answered 1130 not thinking this was firm. Well, they made them at 1130 and not only that, they let my pre-paid pizza rolls sit on top of the oven for 4.5 hours with no call, they had my phone number. I am upset, the owner is there. She issued a refund at the drop of a hat, did nothing to salvage my business. She tried to put blame on me, even asking me why I wasn't there at 1130, my personal business. This is the owner! I asked her manager right in front of the owner why she wasn't fighting to save this business relationship. Only after that did the owner snap to and start asking me what she could do. Unbelievable! In my mind I already knew they could unroll a dozen pizza rolls, pull out the cheese strip, wrap extra pepperoni around it and place it back in rewrapped. I tried to communicate this in a way where she would offer it up as her idea. Never clicked for her though. An owner, let me walk out of there unhappy over an extra 2 dollars in added labor at most. I realize math and running a business are tough for some folks, but come on! I have to visit the other review sites and write this all over again and all I got for it was a refund. Great pizza! Hole in the wall, small, Pizza Hut style restaurant. We went on a Sunday around 12:30, which it was pretty busy, so get there early if you want a good seat and pizza from the buffet. My husband and I just ordered two buffets, and I think we paid about $11 each, but it's all you can eat. They have a salad bar, garlic breads, pizza and desserts. All were very good! But like I said, it gets busy, so sometimes a whole pizza would go in seconds. So get what you want then hang out for a while. They are also very good about bring more pizzas, and different ones at that. read more

There is a large selection to choose from in the buffet including pizza, Stromboli, Pizza rolls and dessert pizzas! All that being said, yes the food is great, but the staff are also a big part of the reason we continue to come back! They have a great bunch of people working here. I swallowed hard and paid for it, fixed a small salad and went to my table. About three bites in, the girl from the register showed up at our table and demanded we pay for the salads. I told her we were under the impression a salad came with the $40.00 meal, and offered to pay for the salads. She said the salads were $4.99 each! The lady on the phone said they would remake it. I got a call ten minutes later from her and she said she could remake it, but would have to charge us $6.50 because it is a specialty pizza. I said, "seriously? You are going to charge us $6.50 when you gave us the wrong order?
