I'm normally pretty observant, so I was in shock when my husband told me that there was a "Chick-fil-a" in town. It's in a very unassuming plaza, not a stand alone building. The other odd thing is that there isn't a drive-thru (at least I didn't see one). We are still in COVID-19 response, so there was no indoor dining (all chairs were on tables) and blocked off. We were able to go inside and place an order. My order was wrong, but at least they did not charge me for the wrong order. I ordered 2 deluxe sandwiches, but just got regular sandwiches. I think it's been so hard to hear, while we wear masks. The food was still good and the customer service was great. It's not any different than Chick-fil-a restaurants I've been to in the past. If you're a fan of Chick-fil-a, this is not really any different when it comes to taste. I just wish I had known about this location sooner... wouldn't have gone to Wendy's 2 nights in a row... LOL. They have a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, wrap & po'boys to choose from along with sides. They also have a counter with some house made ready to go food. I even saw a big pot of gumbo. I got a TURKEY BLT with no cheese. It comes on a fresh jalapeño cheddar bread that was not spicy - just very good. The turkey was shaved turkey with a healthy topping of bacon & lettuce. The BLT spread seems like a mayo spread with chopped bacon, tomato, & herbs. It was really light and good. My husband loved his SHRIMP PO BOY. He said the breading on the shrimp was delicious & bread was good. Our only regret was not getting fries or onion rings to try. There are several tables to eat inside and a couple right out front. There appeared to be several locals coming in to pick up food while I was waiting about 10-15 minutes for our food. I would highly recommend stopping here to eat vs your average gas station or fast food.
