Delivery is a great option. Atmosphere - This gas station / convenience store is out dated and was lacking a lot of the drink choices as shelves were just empty. Food - I always go with the same pizza at Pizza Hut. The thin and crispy crust with pork. The pork is actually a small nuggets of pork sausage. A few spots were over cooked, no biggie. I am very happy with the Pizzas I ordered from the Metropolis IL Pizza Hut and which I had delivered on 6.22.24. My order was taken over the phone by Wyatt who has been with this particular Pizza Hut for several years. He took my order and was very quick and friendly. I was happy to find out that the previous General Manager is no longer employed there. She was extremely rude every time I called to order and always gave me major anxiety. The new GM is Sarah W., who had been the Assistant Manager before her new promotion. Sarah is an amazing lady who takes her job very seriously and really believes in providing the best customer service possible. She will no doubt do an amazing job as the new GM! Once my pizzas arrived, I was pleased that they were delivered personally by Sarah and it was nice to chat with her. The pizzas were absolutely prepared to perfection as shown in the photos below. One has Pepperoni as the topping and the other has the beef topping. They were not only perfect looking, but both were also baked perfectly and tasted delicious! I have ordered over 40 times in the last six months from the Metropolis Pizza Hut, and with a few rare exceptions, all of my pizzas, food and beverages have been perfect. Giving the benefit of the doubt the food is still good. I drove from Paducah, thinking I would be able to sit down and eat at their restaurant just to read on the door their dining room was not open. I suggest if you're not going to use the dining room move to a smaller location for less overhead. read more

So my wife stopped by pizza hut in metropolis to pick up 2 pizzas for dinner. She called our order in at 5:50 then went and ran a couple errands and got to the store at 6:16 , our order wasn't ready. No big deal maybe they we behind right? So she waits there until 6:40 for 2 pizzas they said would be ready in 30 minutes. After she gets the pizzas home and we open the box they look delicious so I go to pick up a piece and it's mush! The crust is almost as if it wasn't even cooked. Pizzas were both tasty for delivery. Wings were great too (I recommend light sauce.) We got a thin crust pepperoni and a traditional crust supreme. The Wings were garlic Parmesan. The Store told us it would be 45 minutes and the driver got there within 25. I gave him a good tip accordingly. read more

Love them they are alway courteous and on time. They never have a problem finding my house I always use delivery. Yes sir prices have gone up since covid-19 but everyone else has has as well they have to make up some way for not being able to have us all in their dining room. And besides that they serve a good product a tasty product it's always hot it's always what I order I've been here since 2008 and before that I was here four or five times a year we always would order a pizza when I was here to visit my family and even though I we didn't live here I'd call and I knew who I was even though I didn't live her they go oh yeah your McCoy okay no we'll get that right out to you so they have always been well-run courteous with a good product I recommend them highly. read more
