Visited O'Charley's today for lunch. We have never been here before. Nice clean restaurant and bar. We got there at 1:30 and enjoyed a late lunch. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich with fries same hubby ordered fish and chips. The waitress brought out a basket of rolls with whipped butter. Those were excellent rolls. Yeasty and soft. The butter was perfect too. Loved the rolls. Our meal came and immediately I was impressed with their fish and chips. The menu says hand breaded. The fish looked amazing. Hubby said it very good, great breading, nice and crispy. Great tartar sauce too. I wish I had tried it. My fries were not crispy (no double fry) not crispy at all. They were hot and cooked though. My sandwich was pretty good, not excellent. It had a bit too much sauce in it for me. It had a good flavor and the toasted garlic roll was good. I will be back, but I think I will try something else next time. read more

My mom and I had lunch at O'Charley's today, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment from start to finish. To be fair, the servers were very kind and doing their absolute best, but the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Everyone looked frantic, which set the tone right away. The dining room was also freezing, with cold air constantly sweeping in from outside -- not exactly the cozy lunch my mom and I were hoping for. My mom ordered her favorite, the shrimp and grits, and she loved it. Clean plate, no complaints from her. I wish I could say the same for my meal. I ordered the prime rib after asking the server about it. She assured me it was juicy and looked great today. I asked for medium rare. What arrived was a dry, gray slab of meat that was nowhere near medium rare. I cut into it to show her how overdone and dry it was, and she took it back. Eight minutes later, a second prime rib arrived. This one had a tiny bit of pink, but still mostly gray, still dry, and still absolutely not fresh. It tasted like leftover prime rib from the day before that had been microwaved -- that unmistakable reheated texture and flavor. It was honestly disgusting. I choked down less than half before giving up. The baked potato was the only thing I could actually enjoy. The broccoli had a strange, unpleasant taste and went untouched. My mom would genuinely recommend O'Charley's for the shrimp and grits. But for anything else -- especially the prime rib -- I'd suggest steering clear. Or if you do go, just play it safe and get a baked potato. Very disappointing experience, especially for a $32 prime rib in a small Kentucky town. read more

First of all let me say we haven't been to Ocharleys since the closed all the all the St. Louis ones. Second Amy was an amazing server who deserves all the applause . From telling us how great our selections were, to letting us know about the great guy cooking our steaks! Our experience was the best we've had in a long time!!! Thursday-April 6, 2023: had lunch with girlfriends at O'Charley's. Angel was our server and was excellent. We had a great lunch! I also received an email later that day offering gift certificates thru email. I purchased two but when I got them there was no way to put them into the O'Charley's application that I had previously downloaded. Very inconvenient. Thursday, March 30,2023: Thank you D'Sha for a wonderful meal and a really fantastic experience!! My husband, who NEVER does this wanted me to add how Exceptional the service was! Jeff had the Seafood Combo-fried Cod, Shrimp, and stuffed crab. His two sides baked potato and French fries (what can I say my hubby loves his potatoes)! He was so Happy with his meal he was planning our next trip here. I had the Fried chicken strips, asparagus and smashed potatoes. My meal was hot and soooo tasty! Because we came here to celebrate Jeff's Birthday D'Sha brought him a delicious piece of pie. This is the first time we have been to O'Charley's I can't believe we have been missing out on so much goodness! Here in Paducah on a working vacay. My other half suggested this place and so we went :) I had the Balasamic Chicken Breast with a baked potato and asparagus. Was really nicely presented and delicious. He had a Cajun Alfredo Pasta - very generous portion and he said the sauce wasn't the average Alfredo sauce. I didn't taste it but - he said was delicious. Rolls were very fresh with a nice whipped type of butter in plastic cups alongside. I had a glass of pinot grigio - very reasonable in price. I'm not from this area (I live near Chicago) and I've never heard of this place - not sure if is a chain or no. But either way - menu was nicely done with plenty of choices. Server was attentive and nice. She checked in on us numerous times. Definitely recommend this place. :) read more

I ordered two dinner salads, several rolls, and an appetizer. The cheese wedges were soft, and some of them were just half pieces. The salads tasted pretty good, however the lettuce was all rusted, there were several hunks of the stalk of the lettuce in the mix. The tomatoes were good, I will say that. My husband's grilled chicken that was on his salad was good. I am not sure I will order salads again. Overall this is a good restaurant but I can't believe they would charge me $44 for rusted lettuce. Do better O'Charleys. read more

They brought out our nachos which is one of their new feature dishes and instead of having French fried onions on top they were just onions on the griddle top I've never even seen that done before it was disgusting. The Manager however went way out of her way to make it right and comped our drinks and insisted on giving us some food so we wouldn't leave hungry. I declined but the thought was very nice. Due to that I would probably go back which is the only reason why they got three stars read more

This was my husband and I's first time eating here. We were concerned due to the lack of cars in the parking lot but decided to try it anyways. The restaurant appears very clean. The interior was modern and updated looking. My husband ordered the tenders and I had soup and salad. His tenders were pretty good, but the sides were just ok. My salad was a bit bland. Soup was better than the salad. Constructive criticism would be to train kitchen staff to talk a bit softer. They were having loud personal conversations that we could hear 20 feet away. All and all, not sure if we will be back due to lack of the food being anything special. O'Charley's is on par with other chains, but is probably cleaner. read more

Delicious!! Everything was hot and tasty. Service was great. Never waited more than a couple minutes for refills and the appetizer and dinner was brought out quickly. The waitress was overbearing. She talked in a normal tone of voice to young families, but to the 60+ year old white couples she used a fake southern drawl and referred to my wife as "love" about five times. She kept apologizing for things that weren't problems to garner sympathy, I assume. We just wanted a quiet meal and she just kept talking. read more

Our waitress was very rude, and forgot some of our drink orders so we didn't get them until our food arrived. I had a country breakfast scramble, and when it came out, it wasn't even hot. The plate was hot, but the actual food was just kind of warm. The bell peppers were also cut way too big for the dish. On top of that, it was kind of flavorless. I had to add a bit of salt and pepper to really to even really taste anything. I also had the beermosa, which is sparkling wine, blue moon beer and some peach vodka. FULL DISCLOSURE: this is actually a 'double review'. I ordered our dinner to be delivered thru DoorDash - to be delivered to a hotel. Our food arrived and upon returning to our room - NO utensils, NO napkins, NO butter for the bread and the food should have been a bit hotter considering how close the restaurant is ..... and frankly, mediocre food. Front Desk to the rescue (they serve breakfast only). WHAT a disappointment! It's a take out order - to be delivered to a hotel! FAIL on the staff at O'Charley's. read more

We went on a Friday night. Everywhere else we went said they had a 30 minute wait, with hardly anyone waiting. We walked in O'Charley's and there were quite a few people waiting but the hostess said it would be about 15 minutes. We were sat in about 10 minutes which was great. My wife and I had the Prime Rib for 12.99 for 8 oz pieces and it was absolutely wonderful. Our daughter liked everything as well except the mashed potatoes which had potato skin in them and she said they were really thick, she's 10 :) The server was very good and the service overall was excellent. I am a former employee but....Raina was my server and she was fantastic. I had drinks from the bar and they were great and reasonably priced. The food I ordered to go and it was not only accurate but tasty. I had the louisiana sirloin and my husband had the cedar plank salmon. It was the best steak I've had in a while. We ate there tonight. We've never eaten at an O'Charleys before. My husband had tomato basil soup, which came, surprisingly with cheese on top ( he's lactose intolerant, so a little advanced knowledge of odd things in soup would have been nice). I had fried green tomatoes. The batter on the tomatoes was tasteless. For a main course, we split cedar planked salmon, broccoli and a baked potato. We were surprised that all the food came out at the same time. We had expected the soup and tomatoes ahead of time but not so. So, dinner was luke warm after we finished the soup and tomatoes but it was tasty. The broccoli was cooked perfectly, not over-cooked. Dinner came with hot rolls that had a sweet flavor on top, as though they'd been dipped in honey butter -- they were hot and delicious. One thing I noticed is that, with just 2 exceptions, the staff did not smile -- ever. Two servers appeared to have a sullen countenance. I expected to see smiles when they served the food bit but there were none. The staff didn't even smile at each other. Our waitress did smile at us. But I'm left wondering if working conditions are bad and that's why they didn't appear to enjoy their jobs. Or perhaps there was another, unspoken reason. We'll never know. Enjoyed spending time with friends at a table outside the restaurant. We didn't eat, however, I have eaten there many times. I love thier Chicken Quesadillas and carmel pie:) In fact, I have never met anyone who doesn't like their carmel pie. The waiter was very warm friendly and courteous, greeting me by name, as he knows me as a regular at this restaurant.
