Small town...waited an hour to get drinks and another 1/2 hour for food. Several errors in our orders .

Sadly, our area lost all of our Pizza Hut's, so we were pleased to come across one in the area here. The pizza was really good as were the hot wings. Good service. The place needed a good sweeping, but other than that was kept up. We will come back never time we are there. Sure made me miss out so much more. read more

Dear PH Human Resources. Empty dining room, just me and told it would quite awhile to waited on. The cashier, yes, a high schooler, needed customer service training badly. The manager wouldn't come out to speak w me upon request. Nut, the district mgr was there w the a chip on her shoulder w a thousand excuses about why the store was so mid managed. I don't care about excuses. I do care about her disrespectful tone, words n attitude in front of five other customers. My point is that this particular location needs an in service about how to deal w customers. An apology would have gone a long way. District Manager shout be working w the public. Yes, I've been in food service before. I'm embarrassed for Pizza Hut w such ill trained employees who lack the ability to run a restaurant on a Friday night. read more

The worst pizza hut I have ever been to. I ordered a pizza for my husband and when he went to pick it up it was totally wrong I ordered sausage and mushrooms but he got pineapple and mushrooms . The next time I ordered pizza the guy who took the order was horrible no clue what he's doing for delivery so I said I would pick it up ok he said it would be ready in 20 to 25 min get there 28 min later o sorry its not ready he still has 4 or 5 other tickets in front of you. read more

Decided to grab some pizzas after visiting Indiana Beach, I actually had low expectations and hope when we placed an online order. We went through the drive thru and waited maybe 10 minutes cause they were busy. But when they brought our pizza it was ridiculously fresh and hot. The kid kept apologizing but it was seriously no biggie. When we finally opened the boxes after letting it cool it had the old school cheese pull, and tasted like the 90s/00s style pizza. It was such a throwback and nostalgic vibe and killer taste. We live in the 219, but definitely plan on coming back on our next amusement park. read more

This place is awesome!! This is by far my most favorite Pizza Hut in the country! Best staff! Best food! Pizza cooked to perfection. Cheese with bread sticks what a treat! I recommend eating inside the restaurant if you haven't tried. read more

We ordered pizza at 11:40 pm (they close at midnight) and not only did they still deliver the pizza, the person who answered the phone and the delivery person were both SUPER nice. I'm not used to such good customer service. Especially from a pizza place. Plus the pizza arrived fresh and hot. read more

My daughter ordered a taco pizza for me tonight. Pan tossed crust, no meat. When she picked it up it was not right. They wanted her to wait but she was on her way home from work. Called and spoke with the manager or tried. He was not a good listener. She received a coupon for a free pizza but I wanted the management to know what was wrong with the pizza. I ordered a pan tossed, no meat taco pizza. I got a tossed pan pizza with sausage and Parmesan on the crust with tomatoes lettuce, cheese and onions. It was nasty. My dog ate it! The taco pizza I wanted should of been pan crust, refried beans, cheese, tomatoes onions and lettuce. Again, it's not about getting a coupon for a free pizza later it's about getting what you ordered and having it made right the first time. The manager Gary did not care it was made wrong and the person tried to cover up their mistake by adding onions lettuce and tomatoes at the end. A free coupon is not enough for that error. read more

We order delivery from here pretty often and I can't say that I have any complaints. The delivery driver will still take deliveries even when it's really close to closing time and the food always arrives within 30 minutes. The drivers are always friendly and the food is of decent quality. read more

It's Pizza Hut in combination with Buffalo Wild Wings, and like the last reviewer said, full of high school kids as staff. The restaurant is rarely even a quarter full, and yet, service can be slow. That being said, we like their pizza and keep coming back. The building is apparently new. Sometimes, you might want to have a sweater or sweat shirt. They like their air conditioning on arctic. Surprisingly, when you place an order for delivery, they deliver in 15 minutes which really puzzles me why it's faster to get my pizza at home than in the restaurant. They frequently have large pizzas with two toppings for $10.00, and you can't beat that. read more

It tasted really good but service was incredibly slow. We had a group of eight, and we ordered two personal pan pizzas for the two kids. By the time those arrived, everyone else had finished their entire meal. We were tempted to get up, leave the restaurant, and go to McDonald's to get them chicken nuggets because at least there we knew they'd get their food. read more

Ok, so I know they have moved to a new building and all and have a great new look. But the service - sheesh. I mean, maybe they are a little busier now that they have a nicer location - but maybe they should stop hiring high schoolers so couldn't give a rats you know what about you or your order. I have ordered to go here several times and each time I have noticed the same high school aged girls chit chatting to their friends and blatantly ignoring the busily ringing phone and the impatiently waiting customers ready to pay or pick up their order. Half the time they cannot even find my order - not sure if they mishear the spelling of my last name or what but I should not have to argue with a waiter/waitress about whether or not I ordered a pizza there about 20 minutes ago. Just super unimpressed with the service. But it is the only Pizza Hut in Monticello and I do love their pizza - which is very good no frets in that department - it is just frustrating to deal with the same issues on each visit. read more

I have been a regular at this resturant for many years. I was there yesterday to pick up my carryout order and set in drive through watching 4 different employees look right at me and just turn and talk amoung themselves. We quit eating in for many reasons. Poor service the employees figure their there to talk,text etc. Finally the manager seen me sitting in drive through and came to the window. This is just what everyone in this town complains about on a daily basis. read more

OK...I'm looking at the dates for the previous reviews and I've decided that 'newness' isn't the issue. Since I went there for lunch....time of day may not be either...and there were no high schoolers becasue school was in session. I'm going to pick up a pizza in 25 minutes so we'll see if it goes any better this time. On last months visit (my first), I tried the drive through only to be stuck waiting because the truck in front of me was waiting, in the lane. So I backed out and went inside. In the 10 minutes I stood at the desk, not one person acknowedged me. They walked past me multiple time to seat others and carry food out but no one could take my money and hand me my carry out order. I did stand there long enough to hear that the manager was out delivering pizza. So...I went back outside...and waited again. The lady running the drive through wasn't at the window when I got there..so I waited some more. I watched her come outside and carry a pizza to a waiting truck about 5 minutes later. She was very appologetic when she did make it to me but it didn't make me feel much better. I'm hoping today goes better. read more
