This place is a complete joke. The woman at the counter was rude from the moment we walked in and then had the nerve to practically demand a tip for carryout. Unreal. When we got home, we found long black hairs baked into the crusts of both pizzas. Unsurprisingly, the same woman demanding tips had long black hair. Totally disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. Sure, the breadsticks and wings were fine but last I checked, it's not called Breadstick Hut or Wing Hut. It's Pizza Hut, and the pizza should at least be edible. This isn't our first issue with this location either. We submitted a complaint before and never heard a word back, so I seriously doubt this one will be taken seriously either. Newport Pizza Hut has officially ruined their last chance with us. Between the filthy food and the rude, entitled staff, we're done and I suggest everyone else avoid this place too. read more

I just want to give a big "shout out" to the staff at this Pizza Hut! It is the first time I've dined in at a pi$za hut for probably 20 years and the service and all around willingness to do anything to make our experience great was so refreshing to see these days. Lunch buffet was a bit pricey. Limited selection of pizza flavors, good salad bar. Pizza Hut still owns my heart on thin and crispy crust.

Dined in 9/16/2024 for lunch. Had encounters with 3 different employees. 2 of the employees were friendly and helpful. The 3rd employee(shift lead/manager???), white female, about 5'6", 160lbs., brown hair, glasses, filthy uniform. I asked the 3rd employee a question and she answered me in a very rude passive/aggresive manner. I also saw interactions with other guests and she was rude with everyone. Placed an order on line at 9:20 Received text saying order placed Received text saying we are making the order Never received the pizza and called the Pizza Hut direct and spoke to a guy and you could hear the manager in the back saying I'm busy and then after explaining to the kid finally the manager Brandon gets on the phone and says how may I help you after knowing the issue already need I say ( absolutely rude ) says we are closed and we never received this order I told him I received a text showing we are making the order he says again I didn't receive an order, said well my card got charged he says maybe you placed it at another store told him the address and phone number and says I can call in the morning or stop by and I said again I'm traveling through and at the holiday inn and I said it's very odd seems to me like you just cancelled the order since it's late and he reply's back my system won't let me do since you placed it online ( so he acknowledged I placed it online ) and just hangs up on me. This store has the worst customer service of any Pizza Hut I've ever been to. They make you seat yourself, and then walk back up to the counter to order. Asked the "server" for fountain drinks, she then told me to grab them from the fridge while the table next to us got served fountain drinks. We were sitting there for 40 minutes waiting for our food while it was sitting in the to-go section. No Mariana with our uncut breadsticks after waiting so long. I dont recommend, completely unprofessional and did nothing to fix it. read more

The app insists they have meatballs when they don't. They decided to not let me know that when they called to tell me about them being out of chicken wings, which is fine. But when I recieved the pizza and saw there was no meatballs, I tried the stuffed crust and the cheese had a moldy taste. Smelling it gave the same result to both me and my partner. The pasta we got was also crunchy around the outside, as if it had been sitting for a while. After calling, they offered to refund me for the stuffed crust pizza, which I appreciated. I did an online order, so I have no clue how the ambience at the store is, but it has to be terrible if the food is this subpar. read more

Alright before I start I'm just going to say yes I know it's just a Pizza Hut and I also know that yes it's in Newport but come on...ordered pizza from this joke of a store and after about two hours of waiting I finally call just to have a manager tell me my pizza was "pushed off to the side" and that I was more or less just outta luck as far as getting any pizza reward points back. There are no words to describe the customer service. If you order anything on a Thurs-Sat for take out, be prepared to have your order screwed up and plan for at least a 60 minute wait. I have witnessed customers storming out of the place more than once. the management is non existent. They have one woman that does everything. moved to the newport area a month ago,and so far all the pizza places suck, even papa johns wasn't up to par. gave this place a shot,and the pizzas were actually "ok" for pizza hut. of course when i got the order they forgot to pack the order of wings i paid for. called and no way they could put the difference back on my card, but they did give me a credit for my next order. lucky for my it was good enough to order from tham again.... side note, the bread sticks were lame, tasted like soft cardboard, even with the sauce.... Well, it sucks after a few visits, on one occasion my order wasn't ready when I got there, sat for 1/2 hour and noticed people who ordered in person were getting their stuff. I asked what's up, person said "oh, your order has been sitting in the warmer for a long time".. Wtf! Sat there and wasted my time because of retards. read more
