One of my favorites restaurants to eat at is Olive Garden, hands down. Even if they sponsored me, I would still represent them! (@OliveGarden, if you would like to sponsor me, please come through!) This particular location is a 5 min drive and decided to go for dinner on 4th of July! We were already expecting a long waiting list, but surprisingly, it wasn't. We were seated right away and got our food hot & quickly. The waiter was patient and really nice! He made sure to repeat our order to make sure we were okay with it. While we ate, he checked up on us and making sure everything was good. I know it's their job, but it's nice when waiters come through with that! We were too full to get any desserts, but I got the Watermelon Moscato Sangria--OH MY GOSH, this is SOOO GOOD. If you like watermelon flavored candy, you will love this. It tasted like Jolly Rancher's Watermelon x fruity juice and splash of alcohol. I didn't order another one because I was driving back, but I would still get that again! Service was excellent SUNDAY night, 3/27/22. We did have to wait for a table - we were a party of 6. A sign out front said that a party of 10 or more could not be accommodated due to shortage of staff. Thank goodness we only had 6! Dawson, our waiter, was cordial and efficient. We only waited a little bit for drink refills. He was prompt with everything else. Josh brought our meals, and he was pleasant & even recognized an old school mate in our party! The food was very good: eggplant parmigiana, shrimp scampi, 2 salmon, rigatoni/sausage. I enjoyed my unlimited salad & soup (Gnocchi). The bread was hot, fresh, and soooo good. We were so hungry that we forgot to take photos! We took home leftovers, even if we didn't have much to take home! A young lady by the cash register was sweet to take our group picture. This location is a hit and a miss. It's very hard for me to give it five stars but yet hard for me to give it a 1 star based on the food. The food came out wonderful, we had soup and salad, bread sticks and mozzarella cheese sticks. Hot, great. BUT, the service is way lacking here big-time. The waiter, Cameron, is very slow and keeps coming back to us without what we need. We asked him awhile back for a little more salad and yet it's not here. The table behind us is having the same issue, I can hear them complaining about him. He brought us salad, no tongs and he didn't ask if we wanted cheese on it. Ugh. Frustrating here. we ate here tonight (we are local) our server Cross did amazing with being handed what she was handed today. there was 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 children. my children ordered smoothies and I ordered a drink from the bar. we had our appetizer salad and food and my kids were almost done with their food before I finally got up and got a manager. I asked the manager to find out where my kids smoothies were. she apologized and said the bartender got busy. mind you. I had my alcoholic beverage before the food came out and I witnessed our server check the server well multiple times for the smoothies with no success. we watched the wait staff not be team players and help out other servers that seemed to be genuinely needing some sort of help to pull them out of the weeds. none of the wait staff ever smiled. the manager did comp our smoothies but the issues i have is that i watched her just keep seating and seating and instead of making sure the flow was working properly and doing a figure8 to check every area of the restaurant (as i was taught as a manager) we just ignored it until a customer complained. very disappointed in this establishment. Cross apologized multiple times and said that this was her first shift being busy, there is no team atmosphere in this restaurant, which will not keep employees long term. read more

Terrible service from the host to the server. Busy New Year's Day, I get it. We had a party of 4. The host took my name and phone number at 4:40 and looked me in the eye and told me the wait was 30 minutes and that she'd text me when our table was ready. Went just outside the front door to wait since there were no seats available. Came in after 10 minutes because it was cold and waited a full 45 minutes before approaching the host to ask if we were still in line. She says, "We called you at 4:45," only I never received the text. She repeated again that she called us at 4:45 and wasn't even the slightest bit apologetic, like I'd just inconvenienced her. I told the manager and she offered us a free appetizer. Got sat at the table. Took another five minutes just to be greeted by the server. A roll of silverware was forgotten along with a fourth menu. Still waiting on our food as I type this, 30 minutes after being sat. Never even got our fourth roll of silverware. My wife had to use my second fork and went without a napkin the whole meal even after asking the server three times for one, whom we rarely saw because of understaffing. Server has not been back to the table in over 15 minutes. Now we just want to pay and leave. Worst restaurant experience I've had in years. I've been coming here for over two decades and this will be my last time. Pathetic service all the way around. read more

My husband and I came here around 1:00 for some soup salad and breadsticks - we were greeted by a gentleman with no smile and just a " how many and follow me " - I was like ummmm ok ! They brought out our food and left out an entire bag of, however they called right away to let us know there mistake and we went back. COVID has made it difficult and sometimes risky to dine out at restaurants. My family decided on doing lunch on a weekday at Olive Garden because my parents said they have been really good at socially distancing customers, waiters wearing masks and the lunch deals were great. I included a picture of their current lunch menu as of November 2020. They had several 6.99 to 9.99 lunch menu deals that include salads and soups of your choice. The deals are great for people who are on a budget yet can get yummy food. Also, one of the newest things that I found out is their to-go menu for $5 dollars - apparently, they have made these dishes for your own personal convenience and all you have to do is microwave it at home to enjoy it at home. read more

Great experience at Olive Garden! Even at 10:30 PM. Because of COVID-19, all employees wore face masks, and masks were required unless you were seated at the table. The server was so kind! All of the food came out super quickly. The breadsticks were phenomenal as always, and the Shrimp Scampi was amazing, too. Unlike other Italian restaurants we like, Olive Garden is trying to make the food acceptable by everyone - more of the current clientele. The food is overall very plain but rich/heavy. It's still missing something. Food we ordered: - seafood Alfredo: all the ingredients were there but I just tasted the salt. - shrimp scampi: again... all the ingredients were there but something is missing. It tasted plain. - herb grilled salmon: good quality fish and cooked well. Broccolis were very plain - water boiled. - kids meal cheese ravioli: my kid ate all of it. She also likes all the school cafeteria food which makes me believe again Olive Garden is trying to please it's current clientele. - salad and breadsticks: love the breadsticks. The salad dressing is too boring though. To stand out and be a great restaurant Olive Garden needs to take some risks. The brand image is definitely there but to expend it's current clientele, it will require extra efforts. read more

The food was great! And we were in and out very efficiently. But the main reason it was possible was the great service. Our waitress Josh truly needs a raise! He was very generous and so genuine. He waited on us hand and foot. Our drinks were never empty. Plus, he helped us work out our very complicated requests and was so sweet about it. This alone created a great atmosphere. I flew into town because my mom had an emergency surgery. I happened to be there the same time it was my birthday as well. We came early on the day of my birthday so we could still visit my mom at the hospital before it was too late for visiting hours. My dad mentioned it was my birthday and the waitress just smiled and didn't say anything. When we ordered the salad I asked for a side of ranch since I'm not too fond of Italian dressing. She asked if we wanted the salad plain and each have our own side of dressing and I said no, I'll just add ranch on top of my salad. We didn't notice it didn't have dressing on the salad until after she left and we tasted the salad. We waited to see her come out again but we never saw her, so after 15 mins of waiting I had to flag someone down and they said they would let her know. It took her another 10 mins to bring out my dad a small side of Italian dressing. We had like 3 different people wait on us, I felt like we kept getting passed onto other people cause she didn't want to help us. While the table in front of us, their waiter helped them through their entire meal. Our glasses were never refilled once, the whole situation just ruined my birthday dinner with my dad. You want to feel special on your birthday and it just felt like any other day but worse since it was my birthday and the service was just not there, it definitely put a damper on the evening. Like I said we came in early so there wasn't that many people in the section we were sitting in, I didn't see her assisting anyone else. After we were done eating though a party of four which I'm assuming are her regulars cause she sparked up a conversation with them and seemed all happy they were there were sat in our section, after she was done chatting with them she stopped by our table and asked if we need anything else. Absolutely horrible experience that put a damper on my daughters birthday dinner as we vacationed in the city from out of town. Our first impression was our waiter who to our table profusely sweating and musty. We looked past that even though we felt that was not a sanitary look working around food. My wife's pasta came back Al dente at best and had noodles not fully cooked. We sent it back to have it remade. I got choked on a piece of plastic that was in my meat sauce. With my index finger I was able to sweep it free to keep it from potentially going into my windpipe. (Thank God that could have been bad) When the manager responded to my table when the server reported the incident she said, "I'm sorry that happened to you. Our meat sauce is packaged in plastic and sometimes the way the packages are cut, it can get plastic in sauce sometimes." What???!!! My server got my sons create your own pasta order incorrect. When he checked his order pad he admitted he entered the order wrongly in the computer so my son's order had to be re-made. I asked for extra meat sauce as half of my spaghetti was noodles only without sauce. The server forgot to get it until my food got cold. He admitted that he forgot and apologized. My wife's food correction took forever to come back so she had to get it to go and did not get to eat at the restaurant. My daughter got the donuts (for her birthday). The server brought her Carmel sauce and ketchup with her donuts instead of the raspberry dipping sauce. The server once again admitted he made a mistake and stated, "this was my first time making the donuts and even pulling sauce for a customer." "I apologize (as he smirked) I didn't know how the raspberry sauce looked in contrast to the ketchup, I guess we live and learn." A lot of poor service, food, and incompetence here.
