a half eaten pizza in a box

Our $28. Supreme was missing its usual amount of toppings. It was shockingly space. Is this the new normal. I'd really need to know. If so, this long time customer will not be visiting the restaurant. I feel ripped off.

Always good food and consistent. Gets pretty busy at lunch sometimes. It's Pizza Hut, if you like Pizza Hut food, you will like this one.

We came on a Saturday night, which is Karaoke Night at Dumas Walkers. The place was magnetic, the…read moreenergy in the air crackling. An older songtress was at the mic, crooning a sorrowful "Send in the Clowns" as we shuffled to our seats, some of us with a little extra boogie behind each step. I scanned the place and noticed there weren't any karaoke song/title books strewn about... we found out through our friendly waitress that you just tell the Karaoke Master the name of your song and you're good to go. 'Modern,' I thought to myself. I racked my brain for the perfect song for such a perfect place. Piano Man? The crowd did look pretty good for a Saturday. Sweet Caroline? Jesse's Girl? I didn't know. Brian suggested "Friends in Low Places" and we were off to the races. I put both my name and Brian's in for the song. 'It was going to be a duet,' I thought. Good. While we were waiting to entertain the crowd with our vocal talents, we ordered dinner and drinks. Everything was amazing, by the way. Finally, the time had come. The Karaoke Master announced our names, "Chris and Brian, you're up!" I gulped and tugged at my collar. I said to Brian, "Well, here goes nothing." He looked at me and said, "let's rock this place." His fist bumped mine. We both got out of our chairs and headed to the stage. I grabbed the mic, pulled it in close. The microphone smelled like beer. 'Damn,' I thought. 'We should've gone with Piano Man.' No matter, the show must go on. The screen said "Friends in Low Places" is sung in the key of A major, but I ignored it because I did not know what that meant. "Blame it on my roots," we sang. "I showed up in boots," we continued. By the time we got to the chorus, the crowd was up on its feet, the excitement palpable. The locals had started a line dance during the second verse and people were fighting to get to the dance floor. I can't remember if there was disco ball going at some point, but it *felt* like there was, you know? Our collective vocal modulations continued throughout the song, each verse getting somehow better, as if each of us was singing back-up to each other's lead vocals, hearts beating in unison, too. We won over the Big River crowd at Dumas Walkers that night. As Brian and I finished to what felt like thunderous applause, we headed back to our seats, hands clapping our backs, when I heard one patron whisper, "I'd hate to follow that." High praise, it felt good. "Chris, you're up!" the Karaoke Master announced. 'An encore,' I thought. 'Nice.' We stayed for dessert.

Turns out they open at 9 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and quit serving breakfast at 11:30. D'oh, I misread the website hours and thought they didn't open until 11:30 so we hung around for 45 minutes before running over so as not to arrive before the restaurant opened. We walked in the door and the hostess seated us immediately with menus. I asked about breakfast but the server explained that they opened at 9 and stopped serving breakfast at 11:30. So we had lunch, I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and my girlfriend ordered a hamburger that came with pastrami and a fried egg. That thing was a monster. Pictures don't do it justice. It was a huge stack of protein, burger patty, stack of pastrami, covered by a fried egg and topped with a brioche bun. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion of course as well. My pizza was delicious and her burger was awesome. I couldn't help but take a bite. We both ate half of our meals and were stuffed. So we took the other halves back to our room as leftovers. Great location right on the river, our table looked out over the channel to the pirates den launch ramp. Prices were reasonable and the food portions were generous. We will probably return the next time we're in parker.

I had a very disappointing experience this morning at this Taco Bell location in Parker. I placed…read moremy order online before heading back on the road and ended up waiting 45-50 minutes to receive it. While delays can happen, what made the situation worse was the way I was treated by Colby when I asked about my order. Instead of providing an update or showing any concern for the long wait, Colby was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. As a customer, I understand that fast food places can get busy, but there is no excuse for poor customer service and an unprofessional attitude. After waiting nearly an hour for an order that had already been placed online, and said should have taken 15 minutes... ended up taking 50 minutes and I expected at least a courteous response. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Colby had stated that all the drive thru orders were getting taken care of first and then itll be mine since i placed the orders online. I even purposely went inside to pick my order up, instead of the drive thru so that it would be faster... turns out it absolutely wasn't. I hope managements addresses these concerns so that others customers do NOT have a similar experience.
