This place HITS! We haven't had good Mexican food in a few years since we moved to North Carolina. This place was so delicious we literally came for dinner, lunch, and then dinner again! I am here for work and this was recommended-- did not miss! The customer service was amazing and Lisa was our server-- she did a great job and had great recommendations. Visited 5/11/2026 Wow First time checking this place out. Service was Friendly and fast. Food was Very Well Seasoned and and cooked perfectly. Surf &Turf Fajitas were very tasty. Serving Size was smaller than most Mexican Restaurants I've tried but the quality and flavor was on point. Seemed a bit pricy for Mexican Food and the size of the serving but we enjoyed them so it won't stop us from returning again one day. I ordered The Quesabirria Taco Platter with Three Cheesy Birria Tacos and Consume, Tasty Rice and Beans. The Birria was Excellent Flavored and Super Tender and Juicy. The Consume was perfect for dipping the tacos in. We loved them. Yes The Large menu seemed a bit pricey the food was Surprisingly Good. We will definitely eat here again when in Parker. I've eaten at most of the restaurants in town and will say the food here could be the best Mexican Food In Town. read more

10/24/25 - My family met in Parker AZ to attend the Posten Memorial where our grandparents & my mom & her siblings were incarcerated during World War II. My cousin made reservations for the entire family around 39 people @ Sarape Mexican Grille. They did a good job of handling our group. I ordered fish tacos that had fried cod fillets w/shredded cabbage & a nice cold dark Dos Equis. The taco was very good but I wish the fish was a little more crispy. Our server did a great job as we had a pretty good sized group. I don't know if I'll ever get back to Posten AZ but if I do I would probably stop in @ Sarape Mexican Grill. I'm truly grateful to have such an awesome family read more

I ordered the combination plate with tacos. One of my tacos was broken. I asked the young server if she could remake one of the tacos and said that she can't and gave me a soft corn tortilla to put around the hard taco. The meat had no flavor And The guacamole had no taste. My daughter ordered the kids corndog and she couldn't even eat that. Other than that, the ambience was awesome. read more

This is the first 4 star review that didn't live up to expectations. I read the menu including beverages. They didn't have any wine, I know Mexican food and wine doesn't seem to go together but a Chardonnay, that most Mexican restaurants have, is good. Food being brought out on a cart like you would see in a cafeteria or hospital was just weird. If it were a lot of plates I would be okay with it but I'm talking two plates. The place was clean and service was efficient but not friendly. My chile rellenos hardly had a batter on it and it was small and basically tasteless. The cheese in the enchilada wasn't even melted. The salsa was also tasteless. Will not go back. read more

The fish tacos are delicious !! Big pieces of well seasoned fish and super crispy. The beans are very authentic tasting. Great refried beans! They have a salsa bar with a variety of options. The red chicken enchiladas are good. The sauce is tasty but the chicken was a little dry and unseasoned. The Chile verde wet burrito was ok. The Chile verde could use some spice and the meat was very fatty. The carne asada wet burrito was terrible. The carne asada was burnt. Literally burned. The service was really good. The things that stood out 1st. was the staff. Greeted us right away . Salsa bar offers very well made salsas and traditional spicy carrots just to name a few. Our server got us our " Large" drink quickly and took our order. We noticed plenty of locals were meeting up and dinning like us as well. " That's says a lot about this place". We had a party of 4 stop in for lunch. We were greeted right away and sat at a spacious booth. Our server Kimberly came over tight away and took our drink order. She brought our drinks over we were ready to order. She mentioned the selections were large and they sure were. Our food was hot and delicious. We all enjoyed our choices and all agreed the salsa was very good. Kimberly took such good care of us that I even commented what a great server she was. I could eat just the tortillas all day!! They taste so fresh and soft. You can also order some to go (if they're not sold out!!!) The fajitas are delicious! I couldn't decide what meat so I went with fajitas mixtas (beef, chicken, shrimp). You can't go wrong. All of the meat has great flavor. They give you enough meat too for a balanced plate with the veggies. One of the best fajitas I've had. The burrito was also very good. I forget the name but it was covered in red sauce so some type of red sauce burrito. It also had great flavor. Their iced tea was surprisingly refreshing. Their salsa is homemade and very good.
