I am 21, I am actually sober and had no interest in drinking, I often don't carry my ID on me because of this reason. I said I might have a photo of it but my phone was dead so i couldn't give her that. she refused to serve us after asking if we knew the owner (as if we had known the owner it would be fine?) so we ended up leaving. the only reason I'm writing this review is because there was a 7 year old sitting at the bar right next to us. We made it very clear we just wanted food and we're still refused service for lack of ID despite having a child sit there at the bar eating. However, I was denied access to the restaurant because I had my service dog with me and he was not allowed to stay because the manager does not know what the laws are regarding service animals. He stood and argued with me and then I went out to my vehicle and then I decided I was going to show him what the law was so I went back in and showed him what I pulled up on Google for Wisconsin law regarding service animals and then he started backtracking and told me that he trained in Illinois and that is what he was trained. Well you lost a good customer and I will be telling everyone I know about my horrible experience. I did make a complaint with the police department and I plan to report it to further places because of the discrimination. He first tried to tell me I had to have paperwork on me at all times, and by law you are not even allowed to ask for paperwork, or to even ask if it's a service dog when they are wearing their service dog vest, which he was, you are also not allowed to ask what the disability is. I would hope that he reviews the Wisconsin laws and doesn't treat anyone else the way I was treated. I left in tears and I can guarantee I will not be back.
