Called local number to order and was passed to national line where was asked for location where I would like not order. Phone customer service was horrible! Completed order for pick up and was told 25 min wait. Arrived 25 min later at pick up location and was told by cashier would be another 20 min wait before pizza would be done. Pizza was not made with any quality and huge disappointment. Don't waste your time. Usually go with local owned and operated pizza joints and this pizza ensures I will never return to the lousy Pizza Hut junk that has become the standard. read more

Nice place but the service was horrible and the buffet was junk! I feel that the kids working there were trying their best but..... no leadership what so ever. Very slow! Have eaten here on several occasions, trying hard to give them the benefit of the doubt because the place "looks" very nice for a Pizza Hut BUT the service is terrible!! Our order has NEVER been correct... Not once! It's bad to get home with your take out and find its all wrong... And if you try to all the place to let them no it was wrong and your coming back up, your SOL because they ONLY have an (800)# that get you to some call center. Well I was going to leave a very negative review here about Pizza Hut in Schertz. But after reading all the other reviews it seems kinda pointless. We placed a carry out order because delivery time was an hour and a half. So I place he carry out order at 7:09 pm on Wednesday its now 8:25 and we are still waiting on 3 pizzas and 1 sandwich. I order the pizza online around 6 pm, confirmation stated pizza would be ready at 6:15. I was in Walmart so I decided to wait and pick it up around 6:30, 2 hours later I still didn't have a pizza!!!!! There were numerous people waiting for their pizza, they hadn't started on half of the orders! A few people even left after waiting 2 hours. Finally after hearing so many complaints they brought out pizzas and told people to take whatever they wanted. My sister and I walked out with 6 pizzas none that we actually wanted but oh well. I placed an order online on a Friday night.. per the pizza hut website my order was to be ready within 50 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before my ETA and saw a very messy facility with a long carry out line. When I finally got to the window they told me it'd be another 10 minutes. I said okay and patiently waited with the others. Come to find out their manager had walked off and another crew member left as well and the rest of them had NO organization or clue how to take care of customers, their orders, or the restaurant. People that were dining in had to wait over 30 minutes after eating just to pay!!! Then when I finally get back up to the window after having waited for TWO HOURS.. the guy says "ma'am, if you take the survey on the back of your receipt you might get something free on your next purchase." You've got to be kidding me! I'll NEVER purchase another pizza from this pizza hut ever again! Manager or no manager this was completely ridiculous. Also, when I got home to three very hungry kids they had put spicy sauce on my pepperoni pizzas.. which was NOT what I had ordered. Smh read more

RIDICULOUS! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! At 7pm I called in a carry-out order & was told it would be ready for pick up at 7:30pm. At 7:40pm I arrived to pick up, only to be told the order wasn't ready yet. The Pizza Hut Wing Street on 3009 in Schertz Texas delivery service was the worst I have ever experienced ! We waited for 2 hours when I called to check on the order I was told that the manager would be right with me. I was on hold for 15 minutes before I finally gave up ! I decided to try this location despite the awful reviews. While we did have a hiccup with this visit, I wouldn't say it deserves to be docked 3 stars. Luckily, the store is right down the road from our house. I thought the pizza was yummy, although my husband & middle son weren't impressed. The sauce was actually a lot better than the Pizza Hut we ordered from in PA. I ordered a stuffed crust with 'hut favorite ' crust & it was delicious. I ordered with the PH app & my husband picked it up... They forgot to give him our wings. We called & were connected to a call center, so it was kind of annoying not being able to reach the local store to resolve this. Nevertheless, a local rep promptly called & apologized. When my husband returned to pick up the wings, they gave us the old ones too. My husband said the store seemed clean, did not smell bad (as another reviewer mentioned), and did not have any problems otherwise. It would've been a nice touch had they offered to deliver the wings on the house, and I'm sure I would be more upset if we lived far away. My tip is to double check your entire order before leaving the restaurant. Overall, I feel this location deserves an average 3 to 3.5 stars -- 1.5 is harsh! I forgot to mention-- the breadsticks were a tad overdone. read more

We tried their lunch buffet. Adults were $6.99 and kids $3.99. Their spread was pretty basic. The salad bar was decent although I found some wilted lettuce. The pizza was okay. They also had pasta and marinara sauce and bread sticks. They didn't replace empty trays on the buffet efficiently so I had to sit back down and wait a couple of times. The employees here are pretty tired and lack enthusiasm. Don't expect smiles from the staff. Dessert offerings on the buffet consisted of an apple pie dessert pizza, canned peaches, and vanilla pudding. There was so much apple pie filling loaded on the dessert pizza you had to eat it with a fork. At least at Cici's there are cinnamon rolls, dessert pizzas, and brownies. Also missing is soup. I take my kid to pizza buffets once in a blue moon because he loves pizza, but me-not so much. I'd prefer to have a nice salad and some soup. I don't think we'll be back. read more

Had a terrible experience here. Wanted a pizza to go for something quick to eat for dinner. Pick it up and pay (I should mention after paying I didn't look in the box to check the order was correct but don't usually have problems with getting the wrong thing that often in places I go, so it's not standard practice for me to do so). I get home and find out it's made incorrectly. I decide I'll call the store to have them start making a pizza so by the time I drive back it can be ready. To my surprise it's a call center. They say they will send a message to the manager to respond as quickly as possible. 25 min later I get no call. So I decide to drive the pizza back and get a refund and talk to a manager. I got my refund but didn't get to talk to a manager (not sure why). Pizza Hut in general will no longer be getting my business for the general reason that they have dumb business practices that make no sense at all. If they get something wrong they have absolutely no chance of fixing it in a timely manner, which should be important in any business that deals with any customers! read more

I'm so tired of spending so much money on awful food. I spent 40 bucks to get cold pizza , cold wings, cold pasta, and cold cinnamon sticks. Also as the guy was handing me my order the box was soaked . I didn't say anything thinking its fine no biggy. No the box was soaked in sticky bbq sauce from the wings. The food was surprisingly decent compared to the rest of the visit. The staff was nice enough but seemed inexperienced. The waiter put steaming hot food right in front of our 10 month old baby, would reach right in front of your face and a few other careless things. Pizza Hut now has a very ineffective San Antonio call center and it is impossible to call the local Schertz store. I tried to speak to the call center person who did not have a mastery of English. He did not get my order right, and did not know where Schertz was and the pizza was $7.50 more than my usual order. I cancelled the order and drove to the local store and ordered the exact same order and indeed it was $7.50 less. The manager of the store confirmed that there is now no way to call in a order to the local store. Pretty big service charge of $7.50 more to pay for the call center. read more

Ordered a pizza with spinach as one of my toppings, asked if the spinach was cooked in and they said yes. When I pick up the pizza they forgot the spinach so when I showed them they took pizza back and just threw raw spinach on top and handed it back to me. When I asked why it's not cooked they guy said they don't cook it in. Then k pointed to a picture of a pizza they had with COOKED spinach and asked what that was and why mine wasn't cooked like that, and he said we don't always cook it unless you ask. Every Friday is family pizza night for us, we alternate with Papa John, Fox, Goombas and Pizza Hut has the worst waiting period and customer service. We order from Pizza Hut a couple weeks back got two pizzas one of them had hair all in it not just one hair but multiple hairs I tried calling the Pizza Hut and nobody answered even the call center tried calling the Pizza Hut and nobody answered I don't know who's running that place but someone needs to ship it in the shape because it is ridiculous they decided to give me a free pizza which was great! So tonight we decided we would have our pizza to celebrate my children's good grades we go into the restaurant I tell the lady what happened last time and that we have a free pizza on the books and would like to also order some wings and drinks we get all that she doesn't come over to us not one time to refill our drinks or ask how our food is instead we had to get up multiple times to ask other people because she was nowhere around to help us with our drinks and later after we were done with our meal she comes over ask if we needed anything else I told her a box please and she never brought the damn box so I had to get up again to get a box then I waited around for my ticket obviously if I'm asking for a box I'm probably ready to go so I ended up having to get up and go to the window to pay for my freakin food, I was so irritated by that time after waiting 20mins fir a ticket. Ordered a carry out pizza via on-line app. Submitted order at 6:00 pm and received notification pizza would be ready at 6:42. Twice as long as normal but since it was Christmas Eve...understandable. Showed up at 6:50 and was told our pizza wasn't even started yet and that it would be about 40 minutes. So we spent 40 minutes driving around looking at lights. Got back to the restaurant and told again, not ready and I would be called when it was ready. Thirty five minutes later I had to ask for someone else to check and GO FIGURE our pizza was sitting there, getting cold. Not that being cold was the worse part, nasty crust, 1/2 cooked and a 1/2 onion thrown on as a lump...nice work Pizza Hut staff. You made a horrendous situation worse by your incompetence. Will return to Papa John's; better on line systems, better quality ingredients, and the human factor appears to be superior or their systems are so honed, the human impact is minimized. read more
