And the sports. There are always kids running around in front of the restaurant, they don't have a playscape, but the kids are always running around in the front. Great parking. Busy, super clean entry. Visited this place due to wonderful reviews, we tried and it sort of disappointed. Ordered on the app for pick up. App was nice, but after checking out said it was having difficulties with loyalty reward points. Very economical in price. Large pizza, boneless wings, and Parmesan bites. 29.99. I added extra toppings to the pizza and picked two sauces on the wings, added extra marinara for the Parmesan bites. The order was perfect on time but was missing the bites. The hostess got my order fixed very quickly within ten minutes. But my food was left out and not on the hot shelf so the wings and pizza were cold by the time I got home. The bites were super! Because the pizza and wings were cold, they didn't taste as good. The pizza was a bit chewy but flavorful. We had pepperoni, sausage, and meatballs, but the meatballs appeared to be crumbled up. The wings were garlic parm, I ordered garlic parm and medium buffalo(the app said 1/2 sauces so thought they would halve the sauces but they just gave garlic parm) very good but just cold. I wasn't impressed with the service, since the food was left out for ten minutes. But they did thank me for my patience and they were busy cleaning and helping others. Been here a few times, all has been good to make me want to return. After this evening, maybe no return for awhile. Poor service at the bar. The tenders were nice but not attentive. Sat for 20 minutes waiting to order just one more beer and get my go box. After 20 minutes of seeing the bartenders walk by, they even looked at my empty glass. We are on the search for a good and or decent pizza SOMEWHERE in and or near Cibolo but nothing has done it. Parrys was.... Meh. We ordered the pizza without red sauce, just oil (?) so I wasn't expecting a "pizza" more like a "flatbread". However, there were VERRRRRRRY little toppings on it. I mean, hardly nothing. UPDATE: Our lives have been so busy that my wife and I decided to order again. We got an "actual" pie. Not just oil. Pepperoni, Garlic and Basil. This is where the test comes into play, right. The SAUCE I was missing last time. lol. I am happy and delighted to say the pizza folded like a New York Burrito, crunchy crust and delicious. I want to say the "no sauce" pizza WAS good. He very politely offered us a complimentary appetizer which would introduce us to their "pizza dough and cheese blend." He made a few recommendations, passed our drink order to a bartender, and then proceeded to go in the back and retrieve hand deliver our complimentary app. He check in on us throughout our meal, referring to us by name each time. The cheesy bread was delicious! Hot with stringy cheese pull and a warm marinara on the side for dipping. Delicious. We ordered a pizza called "The Pearl," Alfredo base, with their cheese blend, Italian sausage and chopped tomatoes and fresh basil. It was delicious. Thin crust that was foldable- perfect! I've visited other Parry's restaurants around town before but I'm happy and surprised to have this one on this side of town. With it being a chain the food is on par with the other locations. Fresh pizza, good ingredients. The service was pretty good. Our server was really nice but the service was slower than expected especially for a mid week visit. The decor and vibe of the place is similar to others that I've visited; a bit loud with plenty of tvs around you. The wait was 35 minutes, but I was on my own so I was able to sit at the bar to eat. Dana saved the experience for me after nearly 15 minutes of sitting at the bar without anyone speaking to me at all. Once she made the connection, the service was great. She recommended the cheesy bread with marinara and a side salad, and both were pretty good. I ordered the dry rub wings to go, and while they were very tasty...the spice was WAY too much for anyone in our house to eat more than one wing! There are a ton of beer options, and I enjoyed two, a stout and a porter. It was very loud, so I popped my AirPods on to take the edge off. Will I return? Nah. Got a very well-behaved 11 and 16 year old - with the wife, looking for drinks and good ole mediocre food (I expected the food to not be great - and I was SPOT ON). Sat outside, was so excited because the weather was PERFECT outside. Waiting to get seated, by high school kids (it felt). Didn't feel it. Sat down, waitress blew through the explanation of the menu - felt I was incompetent, because I was not understanding her hurried Cliff Notes on the menu. She seemed like she was just sick of being there. Plates were dirty - played it off, didn't make it a big deal, asked politely to have them replaced. Still - that's gross, dude. (Keeping a strong face to play it off) The set up outside is cool. But folks pay attention to details - broken tables, dirty floor, uneven tables, dirty chairs. Kept a happy face, but this place is WAY under-managed. Clearly needs more professionals in the food industry. It just didn't hit the mark - on ALL fronts. Food just wasn't that good, pizza served warm (almost cold), plates were dirty, environment dirty, workers inexperienced and seemed like they just didn't want to be there. It's where low-income meets crappy food, trying to be current and relevant, but failing miserably. This sounds harsh - but holy crap folks - it's JUST GOD'S HONEST TRUTH. For people that don't "know no better", they will keep this place open for a bit. Places like this never usually last. We shall see. read more
